Blu, this was for Michael Cook, who recently put up a site [already taken
down] of a couple of Usenet poets. Someone suggested in a thread that he
should do that with Dockery, he asked if there were any pics of Dockery, so
in this post I decided to cut right to the chase and make it simple for him.
So far as I know, he's done nothing with them, yet. Since the first site's
gone down already, it may take another Dockery hater to finish the job.

I really like the picture on the ARW pages, Blu, but a new one would be kind
of nice, anyhow... how far back does that pic go? I'd be interested in
gazing on the visage of the current Blu.

Same here, mostly. Hair about the same [not much chance of changing those

Sure is! At last year's ZeddFest (a yearly cookout/concert a friend of ours
puts on) hubby-to-be's band played "Symphony of Destruction" to a crowd of
drunk rednecks.... every single one of them in the crowd was singing along.
It was great!

Charles, you're too busy to get involved with this - besides, they're
not worth it, remember?

This sounds like something I would write. Who wrote this?

I wrote it, but it is not very good. One-offs and occasional verse are easy
targets. If I was to re-write it I would focus more on the similarities
between Willy and the Dead/dead

I sure hope so. Looks like I've got some serious competition. :)

I write stuff like this, too. I call it "vogon poetry". :)

I don't know Willy, but people forget that Jerry Garcia's wallet
wasn't always fat.

My freshman year at the University, the Dead were in the
doldrums -- sales were poor. One afternoon the campus
grapevine echoed with the news that Jerry Garcia was in
town, and that there would be a free concert in the
Quadrangle that night. We all showed up in the Quadrangle
at 7:30 PM with our blankets. Jerry Garcia showed up with
a new band he was starting -- "The New Riders of the
Purple Sage" (a band that later made it).

Those were skinny times for Jerry Garcia, but no body
complains about a free concert.

202.5 cm. 99.1 kg.
I got no problems.
Other people got problems.

$10K rise in new home costs
due to higher plywood prices?
$600K for a starter house in LA?
What about gas for the Chevy?
'Life in the trailer park'
is a *long* sentence.

There is short term thinking,
there is long term thinking, and
there is a time and a place for both.
