But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness,
goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law."
(Galatians 5:22-23)
It's quiet. It's early. My coffee is hot. The sky is still black. The world
is still asleep. The day is coming.
In a few moments the day will arrive. It will roar down the track with the
rising of the sun. The stillness of the dawn will be exchanged for the noise
of the day. The calm of the solitude will be replaced by the pounding pace
of the human race. The refuge of the early morning will be invaded by
decisions to be made and deadlines to be met.
For the next twelve hours I will be exposed to the day's demands. It is now
that I must make a choice. Because of Calvary, I'm free to choose. And so I
choose.
I choose love... No occasion justifies hatred; no injustice warrants
bitterness, I choose love. Today I will love God and what God loves.
I choose joy... I will invite my God to be the God of circumstance. I will
refuse the temptation to be cynical... the tool of the lazy thinker. I will
refuse to see people as anything less than human beings, created by God. I
will refuse to see any problem as anything less than an opportunity to see
God.
I choose peace... I will live forgiven. I will forgive so that I may live.
I choose patience... I will overlook the inconveniences of the world.
Instead of cursing the one who takes my place, I'll invite him to do so.
Rather than complaining that the wait is too long, I will thank God for a
moment to pray. Instead of clenching my fist at new assignments, I will face
them with joy and courage.
I choose kindness... I will be kind to the poor, for they are alone. Kind to
the rich, for they are afraid. And kind to the unkind, for such is how God
has treated me.
I choose goodness... I will go without a dollar before I take a dishonest
one. I will be overlooked before I will boast. I will confess before I will
accuse. I choose goodness.
I choose faithfulness... Today I will keep my promises. My debtors will not
regret their trust. My associates will not question my word. My loved ones
will not question my love. And my children will never fear that their parent
will not come home.
I choose gentleness... Nothing is won by force. I choose to be gentle. If I
raise my voice, may it be only in praise. If I clench my fist, may it be
only in prayer. If I make a demand, may it be only of myself.
I choose self-control... I am a spiritual being. After this body is dead, my
spirit will soar. I refuse to let what will rot, rule the eternal. I choose
self-control. I will be drunk only by joy. I will be impassioned only by my
faith. I will be influenced only by God. I will be taught only by Christ. I
choose self- control.
Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness,
and self-control. To these I commit my day. If I succeed, I will give
thanks. If I fail, I will seek His grace. And then when this day is done, I
will place my head on my pillow and rest.
here it is--the fork in the road.
Choose life.
The "on" switch for receiving His Glory in us, as opposed to falling short
of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23...for all have sinned and fall short of
the GLORY of God.)
John 12:40 "He has blinded their eyes
and deadened their hearts,
so they can neither see with their eyes,
nor understand with their hearts,
nor turn--and I would heal them." 41Isaiah said this because he saw
(Messiah's) Jesus' GLORY and spoke about him.
John 15:8
This is to my Father's GLORY, that you bear MUCH fruit, SHOWING yourselves
to be MY (Messiah's) disciples.
John 17:22
I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are
one:
Romans 1:23
and exchanged the GLORY of the immortal God for images made to look like
mortal man (NEVILLE?) and birds and animals and reptiles.
Romans 2:7
To those who by persistence in doing good seek GLORY, honor and immortality,
he will give eternal life.
Romans 2:10
but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew,
then for the Gentile
Romans 5:2
through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now
stand. And we[ 5:2 Or let us] rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.
Romans 6:4
We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that,
just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we
too may live a NEW LIFE. ((((((((( It's quiet. It's early. My coffee is
hot. The sky is still black. The world is still asleep. The day is
coming........)))))))))))
http://tinyurl.com/5e3x much more glory.
Hallelujah...Gal.2: 20 I have BEEN crucified with Christ and I NO longer
live, but Christ (MESSIAH--the living Law, the only ONE who can FULFILL THE
LAW in MTY HEART AND MIND and the ONLY WAY TO walk in the SPIRIT and
therefore to produce the fruit of the SPIRIT Gal. 5 as opposed to the works
of the --dead-- flesh).... lives in me.
The LIFE
I live in the body,
I live
by faith in ........(MESSIAH--the living law--the law in LIFE in every
believer--disciple), ....the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for
me. 21 I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be
gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!

Gentle spirit,
You say you choose to love what God loves,
but will you also HATE what God hates?
Ps 11:5
"The LORD examines the righteous, but the wicked
who love violence his soul HATES. On the wicked
He will rain fiery coals and burning sulfur; a scorching
wind will be their lot. For the LORD is righteous, He
loves justice; upright men will see his face.
Prov 6:16
"There are six things the LORD HATES, seven that are
detestable to him:
- haughty eyes,
- a lying tongue,
- hands that shed innocent blood,
- a heart that devises wicked schemes,
- feet that are quick to rush into evil,
- a false witness who pours out lies
- and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers.
>>> I choose gentleness... Nothing is won by force. I choose to be gentle.
Matt 11:12

has been forcefully advancing, and FORCEFUL MEN lay hold of it.

Isaiah 40:6

"All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers

1 Peter 1:24
"For, "All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the
flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall,
but the word of the Lord stands forever."
And this is the word that was preached to you."

in God's Name, here is where the TRUTH is being revealed:

Are you doing what the messiah asks of us?
Matthew 5:43 "You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate
your enemy.'
44 But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,
Matthew 5:46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are
not even the tax collectors doing that?
47 And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than
others? Do not even pagans do that?
Matthew 22:37 Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart
and with all your soul and with all your mind.'
38 This is the first and greatest commandment.
39 And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'
40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."
Luke 6:27 "But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those
who hate you,
28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.
29 If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If
someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic.
Luke 6:35 But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without
expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will
be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.
36 Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.
37 "Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will
not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.
So are you clinging to what is good?
Romans 12:99 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is
good.
But we are NOT to love "God's" enemies.
You quoted the scripture: Romans 12:99
"Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good."
Yes, we are to cling to what is GOOD,
but notice it also says we are to HATE what is EVIL.
In this present world, whole nations are EVIL!
Especially the muslim scum that HATE God's people of Israel
and America!
And who DARE to claim God's Holy Land for themselves!
They have made themselves enemies of God!
And they will ultimately be destroyed, AFTER they have
been 'used' to punish God's people.
1 John 2:15
"Do not love the world or anything in the world.
If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him."
---[Excerpt from 'Millennium Seven'
http://www.zionministry.com/millen7.html ]---
God speaks of just ONE messenger and says he is the messenger of the LORD
(Mal 2:7).
Today, people seem unable to understand that God has enemies!
These enemies are the seed or offspring of Satan the devil!
Of all the families on the face of the earth, God has only chosen the
12 Tribes of Israel - those He brought out of Egypt (Amos 3:1-2)
and no-one else! And except those who are grafted into the tree,
all the rest of humanity belong to Satan the devil.
It seems that Christianity today has different views from the early
Christians. How things change when God is no longer believed.
Instead they choose to listen to men who don't have the Holy Spirit.
This is what Christ 's brother said: Jude 1:17
"But, dear friends, remember what the Apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ
foretold. They said to you, "In the last times there will be scoffers who
will
follow their own ungodly desires."
"These are men who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts
(like survival of the fittest) and do not have the Spirit."
The Passover!
It started in the land of Egypt when God sought to rescue His people.
They quickly learned that the Passover was a matter of life and death!
Christ built His Church, and this began with the Passover!
A very special Passover!
But instead of a lamb, the Son of God was to be the sacrificial Lamb,
and in accordance with the Law, the Lamb had to be eaten.
When Christ confirmed that His body had to be eaten, it caused a mass
departure of all the disciples - all except the 12 Apostles. Whenever this
is taught it brings howls of derision. Didn't Christ say that His
offspring, the Church, represents His Body? Perhaps it's true that the
enemies of God should not devour the Body of Christ, but they will
nevertheless - and will bear the consequences! And judgment will be given
in favour of the saints.
This is what the Gospel is all about.
God plans to destroy all opposition, and to do this He must wipe the
seed of Satan from the earth. He did it in the days of Noah, and He
plans to do it again - but not with water! This time it will be with fire!
Do you think God sits around worrying when wild animals kill and eat
other animals? This is the way it is in this world; it's not the ideal way,
and there are going to be changes, but presently it is Satan's dominion,
and this is his style.
Lesser beings mean nothing to him, and this is reflected in all that he
does.
But from now on, he who touches 'the apple of God's eye' will suffer
terribly!
David spoke of the 'apple of God's eye' in these words: Ps 17:7
"Show the wonder of your great love, you who save by your right hand
those who take refuge in you from their foes. Keep me as the apple of
your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wings from the wicked who
assail me, from my mortal enemies who surround me."
David continues speaking of his mortal enemies, and says this: Ps 17:10
"They close up their callous hearts, and their mouths speak with arrogance.
They have tracked me down and now they surround me, with eyes alert,
to throw me to the ground. They are like a lion hungry for prey, like a
great lion crouching for cover.
Rise up, O LORD, confront them, bring them down; rescue me from the wicked
by your sword. O LORD, by your hand save me from such men, from men of this
world whose reward is in this life."
God makes it very clear that those who touch 'the apple of His eye' will
suffer terribly.
Christ confirmed that the persecution would begin in the Churches with
brother against brother, and while the mouths of these persecutors speak
with arrogance, the judgment of God will begin to roll.
During the course of six thousand years, Satan has constantly tested and
provoked God to gauge what he can get away with. He knows that the only
people God ever called as His own were out of his range unless they could be
induced to dishonour God and incur His wrath.
Christ goes on to speak of false prophets who will deceive many people
Matt 24:11
"At that time many will turn from the faith and will betray and hate each
other,
and many false prophets will arise and deceive many people."
Those who have eyes and ears to see and hear will know of many false
prophets making predictions that have no Biblical foundation.
And they even try to outdo each other with their lies.
And then we come to the verse that many use to stand firm in these lies
and deceptions. They think it's all right to continue believing the false
prophets as long as they 'stand firm' and refuse any real, Biblical
enlightenment.
These are Christ's words: V12
"Because of the increase in wickedness the love of many will grow cold,
but he who stands firm to the end will be saved."
You must stand your ground and believe Christ when He speaks of real love
(that won't grow cold), that is, giving up your life for your friends.
And note that He didn't ask it - He commanded it!
The false bravado of those who say, 'You can't scare me! I don't fear God!'
will soon evaporate!
Oddly enough, God makes a distinction between those who fear Him
and those who don't (Mal 3:16-18). All those imbeciles who think they
are tough are soon to prove, for all to see, what wimps they really are!
Their bragging and boasting is soon to come to an end!
To this very day, the Churches of God seem to believe there is nothing to
repent of.
They've ignored the weightier matters of the Law and God's instructions,
and have focused on such pathetic issues as turning on light switches
on the Sabbath, or what is acceptable to spread on bread.
What sanctimonious, self-righteous hypocrites they have become!
Christ said of all those born of women, there is none greater than John the
Baptist.
So what was John like?
Was he a creepy wimp blown around like a reed in the wind?
Did he present himself in royal regalia - the type worn by kings?
Was he a silky-smooth orator who appealed to the masses with flowery phrases
and flattery?
None of the above!
These are John's words: Luke 3:7
"John said to the crowds coming out to be baptized by him, "You brood of
vipers!
Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath? Produce fruit in keeping with
repentance. And do not begin to say to yourselves, 'We have Abraham as our
father.' For I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children
for Abraham. The axe is already at the root of the trees, and every tree
that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire."
Those who did listen to John had to swallow their pride and absorb John's
insults, knowing that he was warning them of dire consequences.
How quickly people become wounded and offended when someone criticizes
their guru, but these same people try to reason with others who insult the
Great God of Heaven. Are they hypocrites or what?
But perhaps you don't believe God! Perhaps you believe God's methods are
totally unnecessary - since you understand everything and you're almost
perfect! Is this what you believe?
After all, you've managed to successfully feign humility, invented lying
stories
about yourself to enhance your image, you've developed a repertoire of very
spiritual-sounding verses, and hogged the limelight in Church gatherings.
Is this a fair assessment of a brood of vipers?
Check what Christ said about broods of vipers (Matt 23) and see how it
compares.
Christ's description is summed up with the repetitious use of the word
'hypocrites'!
All too often those who think they are something when they are nothing,
characteristically put on an impressive public showing.
But behind the scenes they are pushing and shoving to gain ascendancy over
others. Perhaps you've seen some of this type of thing in the past.
When is all this arrogance going to end?
Why does the clay suddenly think it can tell the Potter how to conduct
Himself?
Paul warned about this: Rom 9:21
"Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of
clay some pottery for noble purposes and some for common use?"
God decides who will be used for noble purposes, and He also decides who
will be used for common use. Accept it! Don't try to dictate to God!
God is not influenced by anyone's personal aspirations.
Before the Great God of the universe, you come cap-in-hand and with deep
reverence and respect! Are you greater than the mighty beings that surround
His Throne?
Ps 89:6 "For who in the skies above can compare with the LORD?
Who is like the LORD among the heavenly beings? In the council of the
holy ones God is greatly feared; He is more awesome than all who surround
Him."
At the risk of shattering the illusions of some, you are not presently
ranked
among the council of God that surrounds His Throne.
If you were, you would greatly fear Him!
As human beings, God owes us nothing.
He gave us life and He can take it away.
You have no preeminence over the beasts of the field unless you fulfill your
vows, and if you do, God will fulfill His.
God says this: Hos 4:6
"My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.
Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests;
because you have ignored the Law of your God, I also will ignore your
children."
Hos 5:4
"Their deeds do not permit them to return to their God.
A spirit of prostitution is in their heart; they do not acknowledge the
LORD.
Israel's arrogance testifies against them; the Israelites, even Ephraim,
stumble
in their sin; Judah also stumbles with them."
V9 "Ephraim will be laid waste on the Day of Reckoning.
AMONG THE TRIBES OF ISRAEL I PROCLAIM WHAT IS CERTAIN."

If you won't listen to God's Prophet, Neville Stevens,

then you won't listen to anything I have to say.
You either believe the warnings in God's Word, or you don't.

How typical it is for you deceiver types to mix a couple of lies with a little truth.

I will tell you of God's enemies, first:
They are those that come against His character.
My enemy is one that comes against my character.

nancy:
I will give an example of God's emeny, first:
Those that teach against what He teaches.....like tv preachers...like most
teachers..like most of the world.
Now, I will give an example of my enemy:
When my sister accused me of taking her book....she came against my
character....she came against everything I am.
you ask:
Also what the differences might be?
nancy:
the difference is....I am required to forgive my sister for what she did to my
character, even through she may never repent of this act....I see no such
requirement for God's enemies, in the Bible...unless they repent.
