The last fight of the Assembly of God
We can read in Rev. 17:12-14. "And the ten horns which
thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom
as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength
unto the beast. These shall make war with the Lamb, and the
Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King
of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen,
and faithful."
This is the last fight of the Assembly of God, and this fight
takes place before Jesus takes his Assembly to heaven. Those
who follow the Lamb are those who have died in the faith in
Jesus, for they are with him. Of Philippians 1:21-24 we
understand that for those who believe in Jesus, the death is
to come to the Lord and be with him. (This shows that the
dead do not lie unconscious in their graves, but they are
fully conscious).
The enemy, which they are fighting against, are the beast and
ten kings. This is the same fight as in Rev. 19:11-21. Many
of those who believe in Jesus, and refuse to worship the beast
or the image, and do not take the mark of the beast on their
hand or forehead, they will be killed in the fight. Yet, the
death is no defeat. They overcome the enemy by the blood
of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they
loved not their lives unto the death. Rev. 12:11. When they
die, they change place in the fight. Then they follow the
Lamb and are unavailable for the enemy.
Yet, not all Christians come to die in the fight. In the midst
of this fight Jesus comes and takes his people up to heaven,
and the beast and the false prophet were cast alive into a
lake of fire burning with brimstone. Rev. 19:20.
The Christians which still are living on the earth and are
ready for Jesus' coming, they shall be changed. "Behold,
I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall
all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at
the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead
shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this
mortal must put on immortality." 1 Cor. 15:51-53.
"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a
shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump
of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we
which are alive and remain shall be caught up together
with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and
so shall we ever be with the Lord." 1 Thess. 4:16-17.
This is the first resurrection, and it will take the place
when Jesus comes. Rev. 20:4-6. Then the great tribulation
has got an end. When God's people have risen with immortal,
heavenly bodies, then God's judgement of wrath comes at
once above the ungodly world. And God's people take active
part with God's punishment of the ungodly world.
"For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and
all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble:
and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD
of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor bransch. But
unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness
arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and
grow up as calves of the stall. And ye shall tread down the
wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in
the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts."
Malachi 4:1-3.
Those who have God's call to preach God's word, they shall
not go in leading-strings of churches or denominations. They
shall preach the truth of the Assembly of God, and explain
what churches and denominations are, and help people to
come out from there.
