If the DA in Florida files for criminal indictments before 25 Dec 97, I
think we should all celebrate this joyous event and abstain from making
any posts on Christmas Day, and pray for those still held in the
spiritual bondage of the Hubbardian mindset.

What a lovely thought.
Put me down for this.

Let's negotiate.

I make a counter-offer: IF the DA in Florida files for criminal
indictments before 25 Dec 97, and IF Russ takes down his hate web page
from Dec. 24, 1997 through Jan. 1, 1998, I personally promise to abstain
from making posts to a.r.s. on Christmas day.

It's a given that I will pray for those still held in the spiritual
bondage of the Hubbardian mindset, as well as for everyone else who is
held in bondage whether spiritual, emotional or physical. On Christmas
day, and every day.

Having worked with a government agency before. I doubt this will happen.
The
bureaucrats tend to lay low for the holidays so they can be with their
families
and not engage in anything stressful. If they announce the indictments
before
Christmas, they will recieve a hailstorm of media and others knocking on
their
doors for interviews, and certainly Scientology will keep them busy with
insults,
threat, pleas to the media to discuss their
"woe-is-me-I'm-being-picked-on-because-
of-my-religion" bullshit. In keeping with the holidays, I suspect the
State Attorney's
Office will wait till after January 2.
