Oops, my mistake. I thought the Cult was using a sledgehammer to crack
a nut again.
Let me try that again...

He's insane!
Not necessarily. People always ask for more than they expect to get.
At least his docs are smoother reading than the Letterese mess.
He's claiming his talent agency failed because Scientology owns the
entire entertainment industry, and therefore, deserves a HABEAS CORPUS
WRIT (!) to fix the situation.
Appears mental.
So that makes two lawsuits which appears to be headed nowhere (Letterese
and this one.) If another of this kind comes along, I might be unable to
resist going 'hmmm'...

yeah, me too, hmmmm...
Scn inc has sued itself in the past, there was some weird lawsuit
between Building Services in LA and one of the opther clam entities,
it is too bad there wasn't someone there to explain to the judge that
both of these entities were run by the same dwarf. One entity was non
profit, the other was not..
Using color of law to move chunks of cash around that otherwise could
not be moved 'legally' ???
Of course this might be labeled as kooky conspiracy theory
speculation, however, I'm not the one with the prior conviction for
conspiracy.
Leaves room for negotiation. :)

Maybe it's simply establishing a legal precedent to cover their asses
on what they think are their weak points?
They've been quick to cover their copyright issues with the Les Dane
suit by citing precedent of fair use.

The new suit, calling itself a "habeas corpus" action, has been
assigned to the same judge as the old case under Local Rule 3.9(c).
That rule states:
---
C. Similar. Whenever an action or proceeding is filed in the Court
which involves subject matter which is a material part of the subject
matter of another action or proceeding then pending before
this Court, or for other reasons the disposition thereof would appear
to entail the unnecessary duplication of judicial labor if heard by a
different Judge, the Judges involved shall determine
whether the newly filed action or proceeding shall be transferred to
the Judge to whom the earlier filed action or proceeding is assigned.
---
Apparently, this is another case of a kook attempting to relitigate
issues he already lost on, based on some new freakish theory.

Okay, I'll bite. WHERE'S THE BODY????

No kidding. There seems to be a lot of that going through Florida
courts these last few weeks.
John
I check the agency & the owner at the corporation/LLC search with
Florida Secretary of State & found nothing. But did find a very
interesting article from 2002 on defendant. Scam artist??

Interesting: Jonathan Elliot posted this himself in July 2005 and no
one replied to it. Jonathan Elliott of Los Angeles wonders what
happened to his company. The Agency, a venue for commercials and
theatrical talent in Los Angeles went through a bizarre series of
robberies and interference before closing. Nothing particularly
enlightening has ever been written about the company. He is looking
for a new start in the business and suining competitors. His lawsuit
claims there was an incident of "quartering" at his family estate.
It is one of the first constitutional challenges in this legal domain.
This guy sounds like another Barbara Schwarz. he's suing Scientology
because he believes he was robbed of work opportunties & income
because "Scientology has a stranglehold on showbiz":

Boca Raton which is in Palm Beach County.

I'm betting this is his MySpace account. Delray Beach is just south of
Boca Raton & is in Palm Beach County as well. . Check out the
"Friends".. one is the "Church of Humatology" (which is a incomplete
page) & the 2 comments from 'Hopey Kaplan' who says she wishes he'd
come home... her MS page shows her to be in Los Angeles. The MySpace
page for his band has been de-activated.

I found this hyperlink, but everytime I try to access it.. it boots
me out saying Internet Explorer cannot find page. But from what I
could read, the guys seems like a fruitcake with a conspiracy complex.
He previously filed a complaint in May 2006 suing Scientology for
"it's stranglehold on showbiz".

The "body" appears to be some bizarre interpretation of the Latin
meaning of habeas corpus "you have the body" to refer to a body of
WORK, i.e. the corpus in that sense. Umm, nope. Doesn't work.
seems it's aiming at getting scientology methods of sequestration forbidden.
