BIRTHS
Cole Hunter King joined the happy troupe of Kings on Jan. 22, 2002 in
Clearwater, Florida. He joins Whitney, Taylor, Dakota, his mom Tracy
and dad Doug, Great Aunt Sue Mueller, Grandma Kathy King and great
Grandma Yvonne Repplinger. Welcome!
Briana Ashleigh-Rose Duran was bon on 4 April, 2002 to proud parents
Kendra and Carlos Duran. She had her naming ceremony at the Mojave
Academy in New Mexico. The minister was the Rev. Randy Wagner.
Sheila and Eric Zimmerman, The Elegant Music duo and auditors in
training, are please to announce the birth of their daughter, Sara Anne
Zimmerman who was born on 11 June, 2002. Sara's parents are very
pleased that she has chosen to join them to create a trio.
Natalie Charlotte Sneed was born on 30 May, 2002 in Nashville,
Tennessee and welcomed by her parents Lorraine and Gene Sneed.
Jessica Barnett was born on 4 January, 2002, in Sydney, Australia to
Charlie and Sally Barnett. She's doing great!
Alexandria Serendipity Lane was born on 27 June, 2002 in St. Louis,
Missouri. Her parents are both staff at St. Louis; Chad is the
Executive Director and Stephanie is on the Technical Training Corps.
Alex Jordan Spencer was born 6 March, 2002 to proud parents Myndi and
Jackson Spencer of St. Louis, Missouri.
ENGAGEMENTS
Lyndsey Freeland and Craig Carroll are engaged to be married in August
2002. There will be a wedding in Wisconsin with the families, and a
grand celebration in ST. Louis in September for local friends.
MARRIAGES
Liz Jacobs and Loren Sherman of Roseburg, Oregon were married on 10
August, 2002.
Suzanne Catlett Steinman and Curt Sturgill, Saint Hiller, were married
on 14 February, 2002 in Incline Village, Nevada. A second reception
was held later in Eagle Rock at the home of Dennis and Suzanne Prieur
for their many local friends.
Emma Ainsworth and Robert Shipp were married on 21 April, 2002 in
Clearwater, Florida. The minister was the Rev. Hank Bourland.
With great joy the marriage of Teri Borden and Mike Tyler was
celebrated on 15 June, 2002. The Rev Rich Nisbet served as the
minister, and the band made sure that the Women's Club of Kenosha,
Wisconsin rocked!
Ken Thomas and Lauri Anspach were married on 14 February, 2002, in
Clearwater, Florida by Rev. Sioux Hart. (Kathy Snow
caught the bouquet!)
Margaret Leach and Mark Friedman were married on 14 July, 2002 in the
AOLA Atrium by the Rev. Adam Ghiora. They have planned a reception in
Portland in the fall for their friends and family in the Pacific
Northwest.
Marcy Watts and Dexter Knight were married on 23 June, 2002 in the ASHO
Chapel. The minister was the Rev. Shannon Barnes.
Kelley Smith and Kurt Barger were married in Dallas, Texas on
28 July, 2002.
Patricia Collins and Dennis Devlin were married on June 29, 2002 at
their home in Narbeth, Pennsylvania. The Rev. Yves Martin of the
Philadelphia Org officiated.
DEATHS
Norman J. Mehr,
Class VI and Clear, dropped his body on 25 January, 2002. Norman did
the original Saint Hill Special Briefing Course at Saint Hill England
and then went onto Clear. A member of the Old Timers Association, we
join with his son Eric in wishing Norman well in his new adventure.
Craig "C.B." Brown, Clear, dropped his body on 11 June, 2002. A gentle
giant, Craig was well known for his writing, painting and the staunch
support he gave to the Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR). On
15 June, 2002, a memorial service was held for him in the ASHO Chapel.
The service was conducted by the Rev. David Petit, and speakers were
Jan Eastgate, President of CCHR Int., Larry Gluck, Founder of Mission
Renaissance, and friends David Holt, and Robert Eakin. Craig's wife
June Parks- Brown, mother Karen Mower, brother Stephen Brown and sister
Daphne Janger wish him well. As a farewell, her is a recent poem by
Craig, given to those at the memorial service:

a time to finish

NAMES
The Auditor Mag likes to write little blurbs about people doing the
SHSBC. I am not going to type out the entire article as it's just
loaded with PR, but I will post names, places, and basic data.
Lori Bryenton is on Level M of the SHSBC and is an OT III.
Senior Systems Analyst Steve Jelinski is on Level O of the SHSBC
Steve's wife Charlotte is doing meter drills with him.
Farid Tabibzadeh recently completed New OT VIII and routed onto the
SHSBC Certainty Course at ASHO.
Maria Quesada, shown in a photo with ASHO staff member Bill Scrifvars,
is the first Class VI Auditor from Chile. Maria will soon
be returning to Santiago, Chile to open a new mission were 50 preclears
await her.
Emmanuel Francoeur and Louise Belley from Montreal are both on service
at ASHO.
Bette Cotter, is only a few weeks from completing the SHSBC. Bette is
originally from Hawaii where she and her husband found Dianetics and
Scientology. Bette moved to Washington, D.C., where she trained up to
Class V.

I'm sorry I didn't know what I know now about $cientology when I worked at
Ashton-Tate. Ashton was the company mascot, a lovely, playful gold and blue
macaw, who talked a streak.
Sigh. How I'd love to have taught that bird to screech "WHAT ARE YOUR

at ASHO, where he held the posts of Director of Communications, Telex
Operator, HCO Cope Officer and Saint Hill Special Briefing Course
Supervisor. He's been married to Kathy Drayton (former LRH Comm ASHO
Day), Sherry Brown/Bird/Mellon (former Dir Promo ASHO Day), and Lorna
Faye (former ASHO Day Letter Registrar). He's been on the RPF, too.

Has anyone been in AOLA since it's been renovated? Is it true they no

He is, indeed, and I'm very sorry to hear of his death. He
couldn't have been more than 50-55 years old; last time that
he was spotted, however, he apparently was a shadow of his
former self, and looked very frail and unwell.
Despite his penchant for stalking me through Los Angeles, he
was much more friendly and willing to discuss the issues
than some other OSA publics that were involved in the great
critic-picketing project of that era. It would have been
nice to see him again, maybe even without a poster
condemning me for being the face of religious bigotry in his
hands.

I wrote a couple months ago about this: it is a good way to get Briefing Course
students to audit the preps. Huborg doesn't have to pay students to audit.They
can take a Class 2 auditor and put him in ASHO's guidance center auditing OT
preps.

I always look forward to your contribution to these lists. They are
always so interesting and informative. Thanks so much.
I post the lists for several reasons. The major reason is because I am
interested in Scn stats but I do not feel comfortable just reporting
numbers without "proof" so I post the names to prove that my stats are
correct. This is something that must annoy the C of S as they mostly
post or claim stats with no back up evidence at all.
The second reason is that it helps in research for some of the critics
that actually do some work around here. Sorry to sound negative but I
grow weary of all the recent "experts" that have recently beecn posting
to ars and who take it upon themselves to criticize people like Kady,
or ptsc, who I consider to be two of the more valuable critics here in
terms of contribution and sanity. Others may disagree but honestly
that is just TFB.
I also post the lists because the lists are being webbed by Kristie
Watcher at her wonderful website http://www.truthaboutscientology.com
These lists are webbed so that current members of the C of S can see
the actual stats of the C of S as well as being exposed to the writings
of Non C of S Scientologists. The data on this site is not threatening
and no one is discussing xenu and body cooties, offering to fuck the
dead skull of Hubbard or implying that they are brain dead, brainwashed
cultists.
Lastly,the lists are published because there are many Ex Scientologists
here that have been declared, expelled or disconnected from and would
like to be updated on their friends and family that are still active in
the C of S.
Another reason for posting the lists is that there are many old timers
here, like yourself who know thes

Ugh! I hit the wrong button! I'm sorry. I had not even done an edit
yet.
Anywayz, the point I was getting to is that I really do appreciate you
posting additional data on the people on the list and invite others
to do the same. It all get archived on google and may be very usable
some day.
