Dear Supervisor Buster,

I am listening to your well crafted questions about Ordinance 884. Your
questions address the issues that Supervisor Stone seemed determined to
ignore.

If you look at the area in question at Gold Base, there is no place to
walk off the highway. The Scientology compound has landscaping right
down to the curb. This is not new, in 2000 I was protesting the
treatment of inmates of the compound, and we were forced to walk on the
highway. A complaint to the county resulted in the landscaping's
removal. They are well aware of what they're doing, and using their own
misdeeds as a way to waste law enforcement's time and resources. Of
course, I'm referring to last Tuesday's incident, where a protester was
cited for walking on public property, pulverizing planted pansies
planted by Gold Base workers.

When Catherine Fraser stood up to express her concern for our safety
while protesting at Gold Base, I had to laugh.

These are the people who blare ear-damaging noise from huge speakers to
try and drive us away. They are responsible for the roadside
landscaping, and in fact, their fence is also on the public easement.

They are the people who turn their sprinklers on us when we're
protesting the abuses carried out on the other side of the fence.

This problem isn't going to go away, because we are not going away.
Today, I sent a note to a high school in Hemet, suggesting that this
whole issue is a great civics lesson.

We have heard Stone invoke the "threat of violence" argument. Strange
that the only violence is initiated by Scientology.

When Keith Henson picketed Gold Base in 2001, two thugs shoved him onto
the road, then reported him for jaywalking. Law enforcement has been
Scientology's pet mutt in Riverside for a long time.

How much are all these nuisance lawsuits against Scientology protesters
going to cost Riverside County? Will Stone have to give up his luxury car?

He kept repeating that last Tuesday's protesters were arrested for
"trespassing." Looking at the video footage, you can clearly see that
Mark Bunker and Doug Owen were arrested on public easements, not
Scientology property.

We need a clear, well-marked map of Gold Base property. Not what they
say the property line is, but what the county records show. Law
Enforcement needs to quit wasting time on these phony pack of whiners!
You've seen the pictures of the razor wire on the fences. Do you
honestly think we're the horrible threat Stone keeps droning about? They
have guns. They have thugs. They have deputies on their side. We have
balloons and picket signs.

These problems are going to continue until the county drops the hammer
on Scientology and its lousy behavior toward protesters. Make them obey
the laws. Make them move their fence back to their own property. If the
county won't try to help the people behind the razor wire, it can at
least make a difference on the outside.

Unless there were other events then the one was I saw on Vimeo, the
"100" $3,000-worth-of-flowers didn't appear anywhere close to being
"pulverized" to me.

I have to admit that I got myself wondering if she brought this in order
for the Church of Scientology to be able to state "I told you so"
regarding some future unfortunate events... However implausible, this is
the kind of scenario that I couldn't help but mull given Scientologists'
scripture-inspired hate toward "SPs."

Pamela Walls is with Stone with this nonsense: She said "... I heard
that there may be firearms used out there ..."

Where the hell did she hear that? I didn't see a single piece of news
supporting that.

Maybe she heard it here?
http://www.whyaretheydead.net/krasel/aff_at.html

"28. In 1991 I had to prepare the base so that it could be defended
against the possibility of being taken over by the authorities in a time
of crisis. There are approx. 750 people at the base. I was in charge of
a project designing the base security system, the perimeter fence, the
ultra razor barriers, the lighting of the perimeter fence, the
electronic monitors, the concealed microphones, the ground sensors, the
motion sensors and hidden cameras which were installed and all over the
area -- even outside the base.

29. Church monies were used to purchase semi-automatic assault rifles
(HK 91 assault rifles capable of firing 300-350 rounds of ammunition a
minute, 45 caliber pistols, .380 automatic weapons and twelve gauge
shotguns were stockpiled. These weapons were not registered. Church
monies were also used to buy the ammunition.

30. Church monies were also used to purchase a large amount of pounds of
gunpowder for the construction of various types of explosive devices to
be used in the defense of the base.

31. The motorcycle guards were trained to carry loaded cocked 45 caliber
pistols. The eagle scout, mounted high above the base, was trained to
carry a high powered rifle with a telescopic scope. There is also a
1,000 millimeter telescope up with 'eagle'.

32. I developed three classifications of intruder and established the
level of deadly force to use for each. In addition to firearms, the
guards were taught how to effectively wield little batons. The basic
things like striking to the center of the heart, the center of the solar
plex and then to the side of the head, etc.

33. At church expense, I trained the security guards and other base
personnel in the use of these weapons and explosives. I also trained
them in the close quarter use of fatal force. We built a combat range
for training purposes and I instructed Scientologists on various ways of
shooting people. I also trained them in night vision and ambush
techniques. We used a ravine that was a natural round shield so the
noise would not cause any noisy inquiries.

Excellent letter Barbz...

"Make them obey the law" is right. Checkpoint Charlie's barricaded
behind pansies and guardhouses don't work to hide their true colors.

Good on all of you protesting out there.'

Expecting the 'Church' of Scientology to obey 'wog' law is religious
bigotry. Didn't you know? What were you *thinking*.

They're pretty 'clear' about that.

certainly getting some slaves working for peanuts to plant some few seeds
costs $3000 at the crime cult leader... that could explain ;=))

Pondering... They tried twice in previous years to change the zoning
of Gilman Hot Springs Road (iirc) in order to close it to local
traffic. The real residents in the area spoke up as that road is one
of the only major arteries that people use to commute to work and
home, etc. Is that a state road, or easement thereof, or a City of
Hemet road? This may be a bigger ordinance or interstate offense to
wrestle. Extending the private property onto public roads or easement
is very stealthy to entrap protesters. They are sing aesthetics and
gardening/water systems to deceive.

They should not have permits with water, dept of roads or zoning to
'make it look residential to hang protestors with; quite
retrospectively they should have their boundaries confirmed.

Beautification being no excuse.

I'd like to hear their Holocaust/persecution card for the ordinance
violations. The whole government in Hemet would therefore be converted
to the likes of Nazi's It makes the 'wog'(oy!)even more clear.
