Dear All,
For the last two days I have been in New York Org running, with
several other Sea Org members, the deployment of Volunteer Ministers
into the disaster zone.
We have experienced considerable success making ourselves stable
terminals in the disaster zone giving assists and supplying food to
the police and fire fighters. We are "the guys in the yellow shirts"
and that alone now gets us past the road blocks into southern
Manhattan. The Dianetics 1-800 number was placed on the TV as a number
to call if you wanted to help. With our higher confront and work ethic
we have established ourselves to such a degree that we now have the
Red Cross referring social workers and psychologists to us at the org
for training transport into the disaster zone. We hat them on assists
put a shirt on them and send them in. Our people have been in the area
since Tuesday afternoon.
With Scientologists and non-Scientologists combined we have sent out
close to 150 Volunteer Ministers so far. At the highest peak so far we
have had close to 40 people working the zone at one time.
Tonight, just a short time ago, I took a tour of the disaster zone. I
had up to this point not personally gone in.
I'm going to attempt to convey in a few short sentences using our
terms what the scene is:
It is highly unlikely you have ever scene anything to compare to the
sheer MEST damage here. Unless you have been in a bombed out city
before. Nothing you have ever seen in any movie comes close to this,
nothing. For miles the streets are gray ash and paper mush and the
trees are hung with rags of paper from the Trade Towers. Everything as
far as you can see is covered with white dust. The number of crushed
ambulances and foreignness piled on top each other or lying torn apart
in the streets from the second blast and collapse is undesirable I
have seen the mountains of bent steel and cement rubble which is all
that is left of these buildings. Text cannot convey this reality to
you. If you watch the TV footage of ground zero, this is what it
looks like.
And there are thousands and thousands of people down there working.
Police and fire and national guard and other workers. The sheer
magnitude of the operation is difficult to grasp.
You will see the chaos merchants on television gleefully embellishing
the misemotion. The truth is the people are working and working and
working until they have to rest. They are not misemotional for the
most part. They are fittingly sad and angry and tired and stunned but
they are carrying on.
What we are aiming to handle is provide adequate support for these
people. You will hear the media running a line that "We don't need any
more volunteers." What they are neglecting is the old datum that
behind any army are 5 people to every soldier acting as support staff
to keep him fed and supplied and in shape. This is where we come in
and I can tell you now: this area could absorb the efforts of a
thousand Scientologists for weeks right now.
Additionally we are trying to move in and knock the psychs out of
counseling to the grieving families and that could take another 100
plus people right now. Due to some brilliant maneuvering by some
simply genius Sea Org Members we tied up the majority of the psychs
who were attempting to get to families yesterday in Q&A, bullbait and
wrangling. They have a hard time completing cycles of action and are
pretty easy to disperse. But today they are out in full force and
circling like vultures over these people and all of our resources are
tied up in the support efforts in the disaster zone at present.
There is nowhere on Earth right now that hurts like this place. These
are brave people and they are the able and they don't know it but they
need the Scientologists with LRH's tech to be here right now. The
fire-fighter company down the street from the org lost 14 members on
Tuesday. No one can do anything for them or the rest but
Scientologists. The other religions here with their ministers have
shown their true colors and are working hand in hand with the psychs
to give these people as much false data and restimulation as they can.
They HAVE NO TECH and they're not even trying to hide it anymore.
They've crossed over and abandoned anything spiritual and
to hell with them.
The Red Cross has told us when we went to help at their
shelters and found no one there, "the people say they are doing fine
so we send them back out". Thats because the Red Cross' confront is
sooo low they can't even see when people are suffering right in front
of them. They are blind. I have stood in Times Square at 7:00pm with
people all around and I swear I could have communicated in whispers
and been heard at 20 feet, such a hush lies over this place. It hurts.
Big time. Nobody is in PT. They are stuck in the incident.
So I'm sending this out to you. It is a direct request for your
presence here now. We are uptone. We are making it go right. We need
help now. And what this place needs now more than anything else in the
whole wide world is more Scientologists here right now.

Obviously there is plenty 'easy prey' for the 'vultures' of $cientology
there.
I think that Americans of all religions should rally against this kind of
insensitivity, because it is just as dangerous as the fanaticism that
brought all that misery to the US.
Perhaps, if such insane fanaticism can be eradicated from within the US,
that might serve as an example for the rest of the world. That would be one
way I can see to save more lives being lost, worldwide.
I despair to think what reaction by the US will be the next scar on the
world.
I cannot pray like religious people, but I have to keep hoping.

Cross and various news organizations by people participating on that

involved in this scam I felt it should be brought to the attention of
a Federal agency. And because it potentilly involves the mental
health
of many people, HHS seemed the most appropriate.
To put some context to the attached messages:
500K.txt contains a call for Scientologists to raise money
($500,000.00 is specifically mentioned) not for disaster relief, but
to print pamphlets that are used to forward Scientology's agenda that
are to be distributed at the disaster scene. The original message is
at the bottom and other peoples comments about it work up to the top.
800-FOR-TRUTH.txt is a series of messages relating to a 'banner'
display on FOX News during the National Service broadcast on Friday.
It advised people seeking counceling to contact "NATIONAL MENTAL
HEALTH ASSISTANCE at 1-800-FOR-TRUTH". Many people recognized this
number as that of the Scientology Dianetics Center, and when they
called an pressed the point were told that in fact it was. It turns
out that the "National Mental Health Assistance" group is actually
made up of members of Scientology who deliberately chose that name in
the hopes it would be confused with the legitimate National Mental
Health Association. NOTE: Once advised of the true facts FOX News
pulled the 1-800-FOR-TRUTH banner.
Volunteer Ministers in NY.txt is a report from a Scientologist in
Canada
on the activities of their people in New York City. Please take
particular
note of this paragraph within the message:

I personally find it disgusting that any organization, but especially
on calling itself a 'church' to gain tax exempt status, would
deliberately interfer with the ability of others to get desperately
needed help with their mental health in a disaster situation of this
magnitude. I have personally had to deal with post traumatic stress,
and I know how important such help can be.

I called the Seattle Red Cross and they said that the NY Red Cross is
NOT referring people to the CofS. They asked that I email them the
email I quoted to them on the phone, so I did so.
I also called FEMAs non toll free number that I found on the website
and talked to a real person.

Barb, (that batty bitch from San Diego) and Beverly Rice (that contemptable
mistress of evil), constantly point up the incredulity of L. Ron Hubbard's
data, and appear to be a few of the loyal and faithful sub-minions of Hubbard
in their unconscious yet unceasing work to support Hubbard's 'protection', his
'greatest asset.' Passing out flyers incessantly guarantees that no one of

The more I SCREAM that Dianetics and Scientology data is VALID, the more
incredulity and reverse/inverse data I receive BACK. This is amazing. Since
it is all too valid and way too incredible, Hubbard is implying that this acts
as a sort of protection of his organizations. Apparently I have totally
missed this point and stubbornly in my drug haze try to overcome the
incredulity on a.r.s., in a pig-headed attempt to get people to stop
scoffing. It of course would be far more usual to see picketers with signs
that say "We want auditing!", and "Processing is for us!" than what we
currently hear about.
According to the above policy snippet (nay bulletin snippet), this is not at
all what Hubbard is recommending I do, as it would undermine Hubbard's
accidental protection. I did not realize this whatsoever (I am practically
brain-dead and get hardly no oxygen), that I was just supposed to laugh at
a.r.s., not try to correct anyone on it.
So, I suppose I should apologize for violating LRH policy and pour on the
support for the ignorant scoffing. Everything Hubbard wrote IS crap, you
know, total utterly blitheringly idiotically psychopathic frothings of a con
man on psych drugs, with neither any validity nor value, in any phase, segment
or sector of life whatsoever, is the kind of posting I suppose is now expected
of me. The only reason I have a problem with this is that I hear this on here
all the time and the authors are serious, they are not joking whatsoever, they
actually BELIEVE IT. This makes for a confusing scene, if I am to attempt to
follow Church policy. If I do, then I am supporting people who REALLY DO want

I shall remember this the next time the ignorant scoff, that I was swept up
into thinking that it was my civic duty to straighten out the misinformed on
a.r.s., but was caught unawares vainly trying to pathetically undermine
Hubbard's secret protections of Dianetics and Scientology, while entertaining
myself at everyone else's expense. How much lower could an individual who is
on the streets fall than to get caught up in trying to help such ignorant
fools? Not much lower, I think.
And me, I thought it was my duty to honestly inform the public of the truth
about these great things I have been so lucky to be exposed to. Apparently I
was only going down the wrong path, the path towards informing the wrong
people, the enemies of the Church, that they have a real threat on their
hands, something Hubbard says will open the door to infinitely more trouble.
I wonder what 'certain parties' he is referring to. I hope that they are not
on a.r.s., but I suspect that they are.
Leave it to Hubbard to actually use such subterfuge. It speaks to his
desperate nature, to his willingness to accept things the way they are, and to
his unwillingness to lose in the face of practically unlimited opposition, and
to his basically jovial and generous nature. But of course, I'm not supposed
to say anything like that as it might tip off the enemy.
Simple minded me. I guess it takes a bum on the street to make a gross error
in judgment like this. All I can say in my defense is that I was not informed
of this bulletin by the Church at any time. My thanks to Mike. This is the
second time he has presented references which have changed my viewpoint on
something completely. Who is this guy? Is he psychic?
Perhaps it is true that I am unknowingly or other-determinedly really a
critic, and seek to undermine the Church of Scientology management and
decimate this scourge of anarchistic, dictatorial and tyrannical above-the-law
non-elected psuedo-government which is just a lawless and criminal quackery,
which never deserved to exist as such and never will in the minds of free men
anywhere.
Does that ever occur to anyone? It never occurs to me. I love the Church,
they are an endless source of amusement and pleasure. Or should I say
inspiration to endless admiration and incredulity.

I think threat is such an understatement. Veritable scourge of tyranny and hateful

bragging about $cientologists "bullbaiting" the "evil psychs" and disrupting what
they were there to do is what really bothers me. Ignoring police and barricades
and sneaking beyond them, even if your intent is just to help hand out water, is
WRONG. Going further and disrupting the assistance provided by others, is
disgusting.
Hiding behind the guise of "religion" and "just being there to help" actually
makes these actions even worse transgressions. What cannot you understand about
my feeling this way?

Yes, but I am not in the state I am in due to the Church. I have received none
practically from the Church, except for a very fine life saving confessional in
1976, but I have spent hours at a squirrel (unbeknownst to me at the time). It was
the squirrel who did damage. As I have been trying to get over on this newsgroup.
The squirrels (Freezone) are all over this newsgroup, denigrating and undermining
the Church image, while planning to continue delivering their offbeat version of
auditing behind the Church's back, which is destructive in their hands, since their
alter it.
