Mental health care in New Orleans "remains the biggest hole in a safety net that
was decimated" by Hurricane Katrina, the New Orleans Times-Picayune reports. The
Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals in July found that only 42 of 208
psychiatrists in the four-parish New Orleans area were currently practicing and
that the number of psychiatric hospital beds in the region since the hurricane
has fallen from 462 to 190.

I bet everyone in New Orleans is feeling alot better.

Why are the words "remains the biggest hole in a safety net that was
decimated" set apart from your citation? The rest of your claim is BS.
Not everyone in New Orleans is feeling as cheerful as you are at seeing
the entire health care network cirppled. Only a truly sick mind could
rejoice at seeing this and say "Hooray"
It's not just mental health but the entire health care system across
the board.
You are one sadistic son of a clam.
