This is a MIND BLOWING interview, 7-part with one of the Australian
Seven, Aaron Saxton, former Sea Org member.
This interview absolutely eviscerates the Rathbun game. Remember how
Marty has says he's playing his cards? Game over.I think even some of
the Martyology sycophants are going to drop from the tree, if they
hear this.
Phil, Dennis, Skipper, Eldon...everyone...this is BIG. I have never
heard anything like this. If you are tired of Marty, this is the
antidote to your disgust and boredom. This guy lays it on the line,
and this is going to be Scientology-shattering. No wonder Xenophon got
so bold. If there's just one other anything like this...
I knew some of the Australian Seven were going to be good -- I had an
inkling -- but I never imagined there'd be one like this. And I'm not
even all the way through it. I have never heard anything like it. The
interviewer is excellent too. This guy explains a lot, what becoming a
robot is like, and how Scientologists think, how it twists your mind,
sexuality, humanity, and how the Sea Org has the special policies of
which Public Scientologists are unaware.
This is so big, I think it will decimate Martyology. This guy is
EXPRESSIVE, and I understand what he is talking about. He gets
personal. He's down to earth and honest. No quoting MLK, Jefferson, or
St. Francis. This guy is speaking the TRUTH. And the truth is
shocking!
I realize that for some of you who were in the Sea Org, some of the
stuff might not seem all that surprising, but to me....I still haven't
listened to it all, but there's enough stuff in there to be the topic
of discussion for weeks. And I believe other TV people are going to
want to interview this guy. Can you tell I'm a little excited?
Just did this post to change the title since this is about a whole lot
more than Marty Rathbun's $150 (years ago) shirts.
world class series of interviews from OZ about the best on core
issues,,,, it will be devastating to
the cult and bring many of the remaining members OUT
these need to be copied to youtube
Phil scott
you have not over stated the case.... these interviews are 5x as
devastating to the criminal cult
as any gone on before,,,, world class. these need to be all over
the web like paint,,, this guy will
no doubt be in demand from the world press and other govts...
what astrid said
this is to the core

This proves to those Scientology apologists, who think life under L
Ron. was so much better, that L Ron was the architect of everything
that is wrong with Scientology. It also proves that David Miscavage
is not an evil captain sailing a pure virgin ship into an iceberg,
David Miscavage is just doing what he was taught by L Ron and modeled
by other Scientologists.
<filter> The man playing Marty Rathburn, genuine or not, is as big a
piece of crap as DM.</filter>
Pretty good interview. Interesting change of voices. Piltdown Man should
like this one.

Sometimes, I have the tendency to almost lose my bearing, when I'm
reading the kooky of LRH, and then trying to consider that people like
Marty or Geir Isene actually take this incredibly nutty shit
seriously. Masturbating being out-2D for Sea Org and hundreds of other
truly insane things.
Aaron Saxton confirmed my every instinct. This is why I am intolerant
and impatient with Marty Rathbun. Aaron is telling the REAL truth and
I respect him. He is twice as articulate as Jason Beghe, and of
course, being such an insider, his story is much more meaningful as to
how this cult works. I found the whole thing riveting.
Again, I'd like to give Rathbun the benefit of the doubt, but the only
out I can give him that right now, is that he is mentally ill, which I
truly consider is a possibility.
I don't mean to take anything away from the other ex-Scilons, from
whom I've learned a lot, but Aaron has the real INSIDE picture, the
real true dimensions of what Scientology does to a person. I'm up way
past my bedtime. He's so damn real and honest. I hope the media
attention won't change him.

"I had to learn that you didn't get happiness from friendships, and
relationships were a no-no. Where do you get happiness from? Enjoying what
you must do"
Describing how he only got a warm fuzzy feeling from being an asshole
because that was the only behaviour which was rewarded.
This is strong stuff.

They're on YouTube, Phil. That's where they are playing from, via
Mark's blog site.
Poor Marty made the mistake on his blog entry "Noise" of insisting
that Senator Xenophon had gone overboard with hate and falehood. When
I called him on the falsehood accusation, he got arrogant and huffy,
but didn't clarify anything. He just said the "lead witness, Aron
what's-his-face" would be filleted because he obviously wasn't
credible. Marty could just tell somehow.
Poor Marty was gently filleted by a few people besides myself on that
score, which only made the poor twit more defensively supercilious.
What's really pitiful is that he hasn't the least clue about
Australian society, mores or politics. He thinks the whole world works
the same as the US.

to save my non-existent reputation on this NG:
Rathbun's shirts were the least of my concerns.
for a second I thought of an ALL CAPS YELLING headline...:
"Astrid, Eldon, Phil - This is a must see" - or sth the like ;-)
This interview is indeed worthy of absolutes and all caps commenting.
Whats most remarkable is his honesty and precisely-to-the-point-ness.
THIS ONE really explains the mechanisms of
what's been keeping people glued to the trap...
instead of the rather shallow grown stereotypical argument:
"The culties are brainwashed"
and everybody nodds: "All culties are brainwashed"
as if that explained anything. NOT!
and the ex-churchies join the next cult, whether it be the
socalled freezone or independents, never wasting a thought
on what they themselves have done in supporting the cult, and
where they have agreed on throwing their integrity overboards
for the sake of the "greater good".
What greater good?
There is NO "greater good" - NO freedom to be gained by
throwing away one's own freedom and taking away a fellow's
freedom.
just saying ;-)
Just as an aside... boy, can that guy ever chain-smoke! He must have
gone through a pack during the interview. I guess that's one
Scientology sacrament he still subscribes to.

Can you give a synopsis of these videos please.

Ted Mayett
Critical information regarding Scientology
http://www.solitarytrees.net
Ah, well this fellow had Scientologist parents, and he joined the Sea
Org in his teens, I think he was 15, and finally left when he was 22.
He's 35 now.
The first segment deals with how sexually repressed he was by the
organization while he was in, how he dealt with it, and the subsequent
pain this gave him when he was finally out and married.
He talks about auditing, and how secrets from auditing can get out into
what the Church considers "public domain", when a member needs to be
controlled. Sec checks after perusal of auditing folders. He also talks
about how he manipulated people using the Rollback interviews. He was in
the Ethics Office.
He admits responsibility for being a right bastard, and describes how he
got into that state of mind. He grew to enjoy his work. He states that
people who were in and are out now picture themselves as victims, but
everybody did what he did. They all fed the machine. At the same time,
he expresses how victimized he feels. That's what I meant by change of
voice. He freely shows us the side of his personality as it operated as
an Ethics officer.
He shows some scorn for the public, who do not know of all the orders
and paper which he feels are the real heart of Scientology. Clearly he
feels that the Sea Org is the central fact of Scientology. He says that
what he saw and participated in is actually the heart of Scientology...
the abuse and manipulation. Since L. Ron wrote all this stuff, he
rejects the image of him as the kindly savior and condemns him.
A very interesting set of interviews, and I think you'd enjoy them Teddy.
Correction, he was in the Messangers unit. Also, Teddy, as others have
commented here, he states that he thinks that anybody could be plugged
into DM's position, and they'd commit the same abuses.
and I think that is the key point in all of this. DM is just a fanatic
applying the master's policies to the letter.
It's getting so bad for them. The body of criticism has grown to the
extent that the OSA (or the cult its self) isn't big enough to handle
it all anymore.

I agree, but have a slightly different take on Jason Beghe. I actually
think the two aren't really comparable in that Jason's was the
experience of the *public* scientologist / celebrity who got conned out
of tens of thousands of dollars and Aaron's was that of a Sea Org
member. It's almost like the two worlds are very different but each
one corrupt and dangerous. But different. I thought Aaron made that
point very well also.

your'e right... I wonder if the prevelence of smoking is higher in the
cult than in the general population.
hmm.

Jason said he spent around a million dollars.

It sure is. Probably because Ron chain-smoked and said it prevented
lung cancer.

And he died at 74, not from cancer.
Stupid arrogant fool, that Hubbard.
