A public high school dropout and heavy drinker from
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania named David Miscavige replaced
L. Ron Hubbard as head of the church in 1982. One most
outstanding characteristic about David Miscavige is that he
has a personal fitness trainer at his disposal paid for with
church parishioner's donations and boasts of being in
great physical shape. He also suffers from acute asthma.
Recent reports in the news have shown that some former
Sea Org members got 1 day off a year under his leadership.
Sea Org members are not allowed any exercise time in
Scientology at all ever yet he runs 5 miles a day in his
own personal gym. In this way he bullies subordinates
into obedience and many of them leave or try to escape
revealing his true regard for his fellow Scientologists in
the aftermath.
