Seems almost obscene driving in a Cadillac through the slums
of downtown Clearwater, watching a couple of poor slave
leftovers staged there to make it look like there is still life in town.
Or did Xenu and his body-snatchers finally take over?

Btw, I didn't even see any scientologists dressed up like police
officers in the last couple of years. And where the hell are all the
Flag busses?

Wow, the Flag busses missing ~is~ significant.

I was there on Thursday, and saw tons of Flag buses and even a few Flag
vans. half a dozen were parked at what I think is sea org berthing - an
unmarked hotel just up Cleveland Street a few blocks from the Ft
Harrison.

There was one parked behind the Ft H [just under where Lisa's room
was], that had Clearwater Building on the marquee above the windshield.
One almost ran into me at the corner of Cleveland and Ft Harrison.

The psuedonavy uniforms were phased into some "kinder, gentler" kinds
of uniforms after a few decades when it dawned on Scn, inc. that most
Clearwater wogs get upset when non-officers of the law try to look too
much like local police.

Some uniforms are in unassuming, pastel colors, with scarves for the
women. I still see the blue blazers and the "traditional" blue pants,
light blue shirt and idiotic tie, but it's mixed up a bit with the
newer stuff.

Be happy to tour with you sometime, Nessie.

That's really interesting. You know conflict often produces energy.
Clearwater appears to have rolled over and given up the ghost, so
there's no big exciting crusade.
