I can't fathom where they get this "guns and alcohol" bit. I don't have any guns. Don't have any alcohol either, for that matter.
Is this supposed to lead up to another Cameranonymous-type frame up?

They are digging in the basement of the house you abandoned after leaving the door open for your drug and wino friends. How many bodies will they find?

Depends. Human, or endangered species? There are a couple of orcas down there. Turns out they don't do real well out of the water.

Yes. I did. Still waiting for activation of my account. Almost 24 hours now.

I'm waiting for a moderator to activate my account. I bet it won't be long before I'm a member.
I'm also waiting for a moderator to activate my OCMB account, and I figure that will happen really soon, too. It's only been two fucking years.

I would post there. Unfortunately, after they put Marty's name under the photos and actions of his doppelganger, I can't support them anymore.

The original reason OCMB shut down registration was that OSA was flooding it with applications. I'm sure the OCMBers wouldn't be so mean as to do that to RFW... last I heard WWP were saying the 4chans were just such nice people these days they wouldn't do it either.

You know, I think I actually had one, but the details are lost in the mists of time.

I'll give you $5 for it if I have to tell them it's me. If I can post as you, well I figure that's worth at least ten, maybe more.

Well, would you be trying to sound like me, or would you be ruining my reputation?

Barbara, I'm sure they don't want to be associated with you, anyway. You do them a favor not being on their side. Every time you supported them you diminished their reputation.

Yes, I have registered 3 different accounts there via privately operated proxies. The results were interesting...
The first account was created several days ago with an email address from a non-mainstream provider. The information associated with the account is of course false but nothing that would intentionally or unintentionally raise any red flags (other than the obvious scilon paranoia). In fact the persona I created for the account will generate very specific results on a simple Google search and will go back several years. The forum account was self activated but is still awaiting posting approval from the administrator/moderators. When I attempted to log in to the email account this morning I was greeted with a security form - apparently someone had been attempting to gain unauthorized access which caused the account to be temporarily locked for security reasons. Of course the possibility of gaining access to this account even through brute force methods would be significantly difficult as it uses an extremely strong 32 character alphanumeric password (including symbols).
The second account was created a couple of days later (using a completely different proxy) on a popular mainstream provider. This one was created with pseudo-stupidity in mind - e.g. tons of "personal" information in the account profile. This too utilized a fairly strong password BUT I decided to use the same password for both the email account AND the RFW forum account. As of this morning the email account had been accessed and the password CHANGED. The password was easy enough to reset however and when I logged in all new messages in the inbox had been marked as READ. Keep in mind this is a new email account, which nobody except those at RFW would know about and used a password strong enough to keep anyone out that DIDN'T have access to it. The RFW forum account however has been deleted.
[Note: I will not comment on the third account for various reasons]
Encrypted connections were utilized for both sign up and logging into the email accounts. In all cases a clean room sand-boxed OS running on a locked research machine was used. Even the chances of a man in the middle attack are ZERO - for reasons I will not get into.

Oooops! Why, if one were paranoid, one might conclude that someone from the RFW admin seat had been snooping in your email account!

I am pretty certain that they would not allow you to post in their Forum.
Neal, why is it so difficult for you to be a decent person? Did anybody ever tell you that decency is not a part of Christianity? Did anybody ever tell you that being decent is not manly?

I would try to sound like you just long enough to gain credibility, and then I'd most likely start telling people how fucked up they are. I'd get banned, and folks would think you turned into one hell of a snarky, sarcastic bitch. Nobody wins.

Heh. I ought to go over there and do that myself, and then tell people it was you!

You are not alone.
> The original reason OCMB shut down registration was that OSA was flooding > it with applications. I'm sure the OCMBers wouldn't be so mean as to do > that to RFW... last I heard WWP were saying the 4chans were just such nice > people these days they wouldn't do it either.
Not every dirty deed can be laid at OSA's door. After the Tory/WWP "dispute", some anonymous started posting a lot of trash, etc. on OCMB .....apparently in protest that that details unfavorable to Tory weren't being allowed on OCMB. I think it was after he/she/it was banned that the biggest rush to register started. It appears that April of 2008 was the last date any registration was enabled.
Is it possible that whoever is responsible put some sort of system in place to automatically register people who are registering for other sites? Many times the registrations have outnumbered the posts.
Has anything like this happened to ESMB or WWP? Apparently Andreas doesn't intend to do anything about it. But it is misleading to keep the registration section open when no registrations are being enabled and listing every new registration as if they were an accepted new member (false stats) If nothing can be done to stop it and none of the registrations are really accepted, why not remove the registration feature entirely? Ditto for the Guest Book which has been locked since 2007.
> I am pretty certain that they would not allow you to post in their > Forum.
Why not? I am on their side. But I can't even find the forum on RFW.

I AM a very decent person. In person I'm very nice, fair, honest, kind, mannered etc. But, on Usenet I have a right to be otherwise. God never said one couldn't play games on Usenet. Being decent "in real life" is, indeed, manly. If you would come for a visit sometime I would be happy to show you how decent I really am. I would treat you with respect that is due a living, breathing, human woman. But, I see no such living, breathing humans on Usenet. All I see is words on the screen, which words could be generated by a bot or screed generator for all I know.
