I took the time to go through my archives and with the help of some
friends, who are real free speech advocates, I put together some of
clues as to why I thought, a while back, that Rob Clark was "ptsc".
Regardless of what name he uses this individual has no respect for
anyone who supports Scientologists (whether they are Scientologists or
not). And even less respect if they are Scientologists.

The following is the original bomb threat against Scientology posted by
Rob Clark on 11 April 1995.

Rob denied it for two years - as he waited for the statutes to run out
- and then "confessed" by writing an apology saturated with pretense.

Later, Rob comes back to ars as "ptsc". Repudiating his fake apology
in writing on 28 June 1997, he continues to address Scientologists and
non-Scientologists in the manner that follows below. (I have excerpted
quotes of interest and import for the purpose of this posting while
also including the reference to the posting so anyone can retrieve the

Dear god above.

THIS was the 'bomb threat'?

THIS is what all the fuss was about?

Am I the only person that thinks this is laughable in the extreme?

HOW could anyone even think this was serious?

This would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic.

OK, I admit this was probably a pretty dumb thing to write. It was also
probably done in the heat of the moment and regretted after. But 'a
bomb threat'? Please!

This actually acts as a classic example of the 'church' taking a
statement, spicing it with rumour and pretending it is something much
greater than it actually was. Thanks for actually posting it, Clark.
It will make people realise quite how much of a mountain you made out of
this molehill.

Clark, get help. You need it.

Clark, I don't see how this is revelant to the newsgroup. I don't know about anyone else, but I don't
particularly care less what you're posting about ptsc. Any comments?

Kaeli.

I remember scientology saying a few days ago, when asked about the death
of Lisa McPherson: "we have put this behind us and have moved on". Now
Rob Clark has never been sued or indicted.

Evidently, Scientology[TM] removes sense of humor along with the engrams and
BTs. This would be pitiable if they didn't abuse the justice systems of the
world as a response.

No, most people thought the whole thing was absurd at the time.

>HOW could anyone even think this was serious?

I don't know, but among them were the police of State College, PA, and
Rob Clark's employer.

>This would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic.

The episode became even more pathetic when Rob Clark concocted
his Big Lie -- that it was a forgery done by OSA to get him in
trouble. That's when Rob began presenting himself as a "victim" of
scientology. He claimed his life had been destroyed because of OSA's
dirty tricks and he began begging for money on this newsgroup.

>OK, I admit this was probably a pretty dumb thing to write. It was also
>probably done in the heat of the moment and regretted after. But 'a
>bomb threat'? Please!

Yeah, it was pretty pathetic, but Rob Clark made it work for him. He
managed to freeload off others for months, based on nothing more
substantial than his insistence that this was a "forgery."

>This actually acts as a classic example of the 'church' taking a
>statement, spicing it with rumour and pretending it is something much
>greater than it actually was. Thanks for actually posting it, Clark.
>It will make people realise quite how much of a mountain you made out of
>this molehill.

Actually, it's a perfect example of why newsgroup subscribers
shouldn't believe everything they read on this newsgroup. Rob Clark
proved to me, at least, that scientologists aren't the only people who
stoop to deceit and deception when it benefits them to do so.

>Clark, get help. You need it.
