Tigger,
I believe I was conned into doing the "$cientologists On-Line" thing at
an event. Originally, you were given a kit with a CD-ROM, which I have
heard is actually a blocking device so that "good" Scienos can't get
into the "entheta" websites (unbeknowst to them, of course!). I didn't
use it, and was pressured at an event to get the "success story" done.
I did it, and then later, saw that my story had been changed!! I was
mad, and contacted the staff member who got me to sign up, who of
course, said she would "handle it". Never did.
As soon as I got out I wrote to the I/C of that site and DEMANDED to be
removed. I wrote again, a few months later, and you see, I'm still
there. I'm sure I'm counted as several thousand of the 10 million
$cientologists, worldwide.
By the way, no one ever wrote to me.
Which reminds me of another thing I learned. I was associated with SMI
as a public, and went as a "missionary" to "open a new country". (Of
course I wanted to go on a vacation.) I worked with Nina Winters, who
had "opened" several other countries to Dianetics. She told me that all
you need is 3 people, at your seminar, so if no one shows up, just body
route 3 people and then, by God, you've opened the country to
Dianetics!!
Nina wanted brownie points, and to see herself on the events. What we
did there hardly made any impression, and there is no one I know of
doing any kind of Dianetics or Scientology now, (the 8 people we had
for the seminar wouldn't return any of our communications later.) But
you can bet that it's counted in the number of countries where
$cientology exists.

Dr Shannon, you should, if you can, remove this! I know it is 8 years
old, but it may be used by the concult.

Navy,
As I said above, I have tried to get it removed. If you know how to
delete it, let me know. I didn't write it, my story was changed. As I
have asked at least 3 times, in writing, to have it removed, and they
ignore me, it's proof that their stats are FALSIFIED. To worry about
them using that against me, well, remember, we all have "PC folders"
full of "success stories" written while we are brainwashed. But OF
COURSE what's in those folders is "confidential"- if they violate their
own rules, now, that won't look too good, will it?? The only other
"success story" of mine that was published was in the SMI magazine. It
also was changed!!!!
When I first got into $cientology, a reg showed me an OCA of mine that
was going to be used as "before and after the purif". I was really
upset, because the graph had changed WAY before the purif. In fact,
after the first one, mine stayed pretty much the same. My IQ (per their
test) didn't change either- guess I was already "clear"??

These would have made 2 good separate threads.
1) Nina Winters is, sadly, a brainwashed statpusher for the cult.
2) Many have had that very same 'clear cognition'
