I met John Galusha in 1997, a few years before he passed away.. he
left scn in the late 50's / early 60's when the science fiction crap
began in earnest.. and as some new scns came and according to him
influenced Hubbard onto his destroy the enemies agenda...he detested
that and the KSW policy that followed.
After leaving scn he spent the next 25 years in industry doing heavy
weldment fabrication, large scale tanks, piping and vessels mostly in
the midwest.
what he developed ith Mike Goldstien (idencis) reversed the damages
caused by scientology in many people 1 800 idenics.. or
idenics.com its a one shot deal, takes a week or two.. a few hours a
day. I did that in 1997, havent needed fruther assistance since.

You run when asked for your bibliographical evidence that the bulk of
LRH's fiction would have been science fiction. You run when asked to
be specific concerning your recent attacks at the address of Bernie.

all fluffy bunnies, pink unicorns and crispy bacon bushes grew everywhere.
Deluded basket-cases, all of them! Hubbard *always* had a Destroy the
Enemies agenda--it was just easier to do with an organization of zealots vs.
trying to private-army the FBI against someone who probably threw him out of
a hotel, by snitching him as a Nazi 5th column agent. (One wonders what the
hotel steward might have done or witnessed that Hubbard targeted him and his
family for spiteful revenge...) [BFM page 86, FBI files.]
KSW was just the outer wrapping on the Prime Directive: Protect Hubbard and
feed his appetites.
And as for the sciffy stuff, Hubbard was also tending towards it from the
start, and after he split from Campbell and Winter, by 1952 he was off and
running down the Whole Track with Space Opera. Was Galusha in a coma for
several years?

No Scientology damage here, thanks; however, if John Galusha was still
suffering from Hubbard mind-fuck over 40 years later, I can't say that I'd
recommend identics to anybody.

Arguing with him is like TV sitcoms where they hit the Reality Reset button
every week. He's the living embodiment of the 1984 Memory(ass)Hole.
His original claim was that less than 20% of Hubbard's fiction was
science-fiction.
I proved that claim was garbage, and so he changed his web site (which he
denied was his at the time) and then seems to have forgot that he'd ever
done that. (Down the memory asshole.)
His favourite source is William Widder, who was a Bridge Publications PR
officer for many years. (RoadSpaceRunnerTraveller always claims that WW
*wasn't* a Scientologist, but never explains how a Sea Org-only organization
would tolerate an outsider for so long.)
Widder's index to Hubbard's published works was good, although it missed
works under at least one of Hubbard pseudonyms, and tried to include his
unpublished crap pile. One gapping hole that it had was that it never listed
the length of each publication, not even roughly. (Short story, novella,
novelette, serial, etc.) That seems to be deliberate failing.
It's probably safe to say that, by number, most of his publications weren't
SF or fantasy. (Hubbard generally wrote adventure stories frosted by the
genre he was selling to.)
But .. who would weigh a western short story the same as an 800+ page fat
sciffy book?
Someone trying to promote a dishonest scam, I think.
I don't have the word count for them, but Battlefield Earth and the Invasion
Earth 10 book drekatology all bloat out to 800+ pages each. Pre 1972, it
was rare for genre books to be longer than 80 pages or so, and many serials
needed to be padded out a bit when it came time to publish them in books.
So, 11 big fat books with a word count equal to at least 110 pre 1972 books.
Most of Hubbard's fiction writing was science fiction. QED.
I imagine that the Space Monkey will continue to rant and throw poo.

In 1947 Hubbard published a book for the Gerontology Society and the
American Medical Association called "Scientology & New Science." Politely
received, the data yet remained unstudied and so unused and Hubbard
eventually followed this original publications with an article in the
Explorer's Club professional journal. This article attracted the attention
of some people, amongst them members of the Russian government. Hubbard saw
a need to release his work in more detailed form, and received an offer from
Hermitage House, Inc., one of the better publishers of psychiatric texts, he
consented to write a formal book.
Here, if anywhere, Hubbard erred. Hermitage House insisted on a popularized
version and a more popular name for the subject (Dianetics) and Hubbard,
foreseeing no more than a few thousand copy sale, agreed. Hermitage House,
altering the manuscript and writing a new introduction (a fact which became
the subject of a suit) unwisely chose to publish an article about
"Dianetics" by Hubbard in a pulp magazine. Hubbard, as in the case of
almost any nuclear physicist, often wrote for amusement, science fiction.
Hermitage House desired to capitalize on this fact to gain a sale amongst
those who were familiar with Hubbard's name.

What a laugh! Hubbard as JG tries to claim that it was the publishing
company (headed by Arthur Ceppos) who wanted to first publish in Astounding
Science Fiction, and avoids any mention of John W. Campbell, the editor of
that magazine, heavily involved with Hubbard at that time, who wrote one of
the introductions to Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health.
The usual weasel-worded claim that Hubbard was a nuclear physicist, and that
writing was just an amusing side-line for him.
Note the claim that the Russians were interested. A year after this letter,
the Church of Scientology published the Brain-Washing book, purportedly by
Lavrentiy Beria.

Science" was ever published? Since it's never mentioned by name in current
CoS PR, I guessing that's a big fat NO.
