Beck Visits Tehran, Introduces Scientology
By Barry Blain

TEHRAN-During what has been the most explosive time politically in
Iran since the 1979 Islamic Revolution, pop singer, Beck Hansen,
arrived in the country’s capital of Tehran to introduce Scientology to
protesters. With his own personal E-meter in tow, Hansen (or “Beck” as
he is known to the public), who admitted back in 2005 that he was a
Scientologist, has been dodging bullets shot by the police, while
handing out leaflets and discussing his religion with anyone willing
to listen.

imagesYesterday, during a demonstration protesting the election of
June 12, six people were shot dead as they screamed out, insisting
that a new election take place and that a true democracy take the
place of the old fraudulent one. Meanwhile, Beck was seen amongst the
crowd, handing out copies of Dianetics written in Farsi, the language
of the Iranian people.

“See, they’re in the middle of some pretty hairy stuff,” Beck said,
while auditing a seven-year-old child. “This is a great time to expose
them to something new. Scientology could be the remedy that Iran is
looking for. If they would just listen me, I could easily show them
the way.”

Reactions to Beck’s philosophies have not been positive. Most
protesters view him as a nuisance more than anything and wish he would
return to America so they could get back to fighting for their rights.

“Who is this guy?” asked Afsar Azodi, a female protester, speaking
through an interpreter. “He’s in the way. We are in the middle of one
of the most crucial moments in our country’s history and he wants us
to sit with him to discuss a religion created by a science fiction
author? Someone should tell him to go home.”

Beck, clueless to the resistance against his cause, continues to
stroll the streets of Tehran, bouncing from protest to protest,
looking for that one mind that is willing to accept Scientology.

“I know he or she is out there. It’s just a matter of perseverance.
I’ll duke it out because I believe in the teachings of L. Ron Hubbard
so strongly.”

Asked whether they viewed Beck as threatening as other Western
influences, a representative for the hard line Islamic government
laughed, stating, “No. Let him be. Whatever distracts these people
from seeking democratic reforms is fine with us. Besides, I really
love that ‘Loser” song. I listen to it at night sometimes and cry. You
may not know this but I too sometimes feel like a loser. An awful
loser.”

This reminds me of a braggart mailing from scientology a few years
ago, where they were bragging about setting up an "org" in bleedin'
MONGOLIA...

I mean think about it, these poor hypnotized dupes have to travel all
the way to MONGOLIA in a desperate effort to find someone who doesnt
know scientology is a FRAUD....

ditto with Beck's trip to Tehran...

What rubbish...

Fascinating, the guy is out there where bullets are flying around
preaching the scientology word. Doesn't this sound like those
Missionaries all those years ago in Africa and places with war and
poverty and brutality. Well, even on ars it is a little hard to say
that they only seek to recruit wealthy people.

Hmm, "all the news that's fit to fake." Gullible much?

Meanwhile, MJ has risen from the dead...
http://theumpteenthtimes.com/?p=781
"Michael Jackson miraculously rose from the dead this past Sunday,
took care of some unfinished business and then ascended into Heaven,
where he is now seated at the right hand of God. Doctors, nurses and
medical examiners watched in shock as Jackson unzipped himself from
the body bag..."

Maybe the guy is/was there and is truly brain-dead?
