This has to pause for a few till i can get some concrete rules down to

Now with a broken camera to replace i will take the down time to
recouperate my mind and purpose.
I was served with a supbeona on sat. morn. to be deposed here in

You don't have any of this "evidence" do you? Pretty ridiculous.
Obvious harassment. Sounds like they're pretty freaked out about the
assault by that guy.

Man this is not something to joke about right now. Go to legal aid as
soon as your can. Never ever ever do a depositioin alone. Remember
these people have been doing this for a very long time and know all the
tricks. Please be careful.

Yeah, by the time you give yourself a sufficient legal education your
life will be shoved all the way up your (oh nevermind ).

Even good lawyers, are worthless facing off against scientology,
unless they have the guidance of a Lawrence Wollersheim, or Bob Penny
( RIP ).. type.

Scientology knows this.

They especially do not like dealing with those who are expereinced
with their shenanigans.

The posters on this page that have named litigation expereince with
scientology, that is, have been named, in the cross hairs of the
scientology litigation shotgun...are

Tory/Magoo and myself, and one of the guys replying to you on usenet,
Randy Enerson, was also part of the "Clearwater 13" injunction case...
which also included tory and myself.

Patties statement is suspect cause you dont have time to learn what
you need to learn in a library...

In every litigation SCIENTOLOGY likes to have a place at the
opposition's table, somebody to supply the information they need and
gently misinform you, in order to make sure that your litigation
strategy doesn't interfere with their ability to shove the
trick-du-jour up your (deleted).

If Lisa McPherson's 'team' had the guidance of just the data on Gerry
Armstrong's site, the eval's of the titchbourne case, which are the
actuale written plans on how to win that case by scientology...
everything might have turned out differently....

They include detailed, revealing, written orders,.. which I'll
summarize here:

Bring sufficient pressure to bear during depositions and
interrogatories, on a matter of no consequence, in order to trick the
target into thinking that they have to lie.. and then get them
convicted of perjury.

This is EXACTLY what happenned in McPherson.

Pressure was brought on "WHO PAID DANDAR" ( WHO THE HELL CARES? ) It
is not a judicial question in the case! it was a RUSE. And the FOOL in
charge of that case fell for it, with MUCH encouragement by those he
misguidedly placed his trust in towards the end.... And the rest is
ugly, confusing, almost endless, history.

Prior to this, the person who ended up weasling their way into
advising dandar, tried to take over the LMT, and attacked every
director appointed by Bob Minton, and was one of those broadcasting
the "GERRY IS A KOOK" scientology attack line... and to this day,
whispers Scientology's own RFW attack lines to those it wishes to
influence...

IN the McPherson case, this was done in order to make certain that
what GERRY ARMSTRONG knew about their litigation tactics.. would NOT
be even looked at, much less understood by Dandar and company.

Everything Scientology does is to beget SILENCE.. Scientology
litigates with direct intent as a final valuable product to GAG and
SILENCE its targets. and that is exactly how the McPherson case ended.

Gagged and silent.

How much "help" does it take to bring a case to the same conclusion
that Scientology wanted anyway?

Think about this, and compare it to what is being offerred as "Advice"

Sincerely

Arnie Lerma

Jerald and Arnie are both right. This is nothing to joke about.
However, you do not have to be drawn into whatever complexity they will
try to introduce. The KISS principle applies, in the sense that the
answer "Nothing." is pretty definitive. If there is nothing, that's the
answer.

I am a named party in that injunction. I have been deposed 3 times by
Scientology attorneys. I'm not an attorney, and I have no legal
background, so take it for what it's worth. but here's what I think.
The Scientology attorneys are going to ask you many off-topic
questions. If you feel they have asked a question that is off-topic,
then you can refuse to answer it. HOWEVER, Scientology can then go to
the judge, should they choose, and try to have him/her compel you to
answer the question if the judge decides that it is a relevant
question. Then you may have to pay for Scientology's extra time they
expended getting you back into deposition to answer that question.
It seems to me that the only on-topic questions would be concerning
whether you are in fact "in concert" with any named party to the
injunction.
Unless you can find an attorney who is familiar with Scientologys'
legal tactics or you can train one ahead of time, I don't see much
advantage to taking one along to the deposition.
And just for the record, I have no idea who you are nor what you are
doing other than reading your posts.

Do not not not go to a deposition alone. Probably more valuable to you
than a lawyer would be a person who has been deposed by them in the
past. They are sly, devious, well-rehearsed, well-prepared, and totally
corrupt. Just for an example, I went with Merrill Mayo to a deposition
in which the lawyers asked her where she went after 'blowing' from the
running pgm . She told them that she went to Riverside to Bent and Mary
(Corydon). The lawyer then repeated what she had said leaving out
Mary's name and letting the record show that Merrill had gone to
Riverside to live with Bent Corydon. Since I had already been exposed
to their crap by Joe Yanny, their copyright lawyer, I knew to pause
before each question to review the wording of it carefully before
giving any answer. And that is a very important thing to do. The first
thing is to try and "quash" the subpoena. Did it request that you bring
'things' to the depo? If you would like, I will send you some wording
for that. IANAL. IANAL. iaNal. Also, was the subpoena properly served,
and are you given ample time to prepare for it? A successful trick for
me was mocking Joe Yanny up with Mickey Mouse ears. I did not, and you
should not, recognize these scumbags as representatives of the Court.
They are, rather, representing a dangerous cult. Please get someone
with experience with them to go with you and look out for your
interests. That will prolly serve you better than a lawyer at a depo.
This is my opinion and based on nothing but my prior experience with
being deposed by a cult.

Excellent tips to keep in mind, this is for sure, and
thank you, la!

You are not on that Injunction, I don't get why they
are even pretending you are. Have they told you yet?

I've told you and written to you my suggestion re legal.
I agree having an attorney is tricky, for a few reasons we all
know......mostly how utterly covert, sneaky, ratty
the mafia organization pretending to be a 'church' is, as wittnessed by la's
examples above.
However, one critic, Keith Henson, is an example of someone who did try to
do it himself,
and he got set up and screwed by Scientology, no question.

You should have an attorney---and someone who knows this drill.
Is there someone in Clearwater, that you trust? Remember, OSA *will* send a
'critic' who will make sure you're screwed, if by
no actions taken or incorrect ones, too--so be careful with local people who
offer. Make sure a few people know them, first,
and do not go alone, please.

My best to you.........

For the official legal record, I too was named on this Injunction,
and no, I don't know this person other than reading his posts,
and writing suggestions here on the Internet. We are ~not~
"In concert" in any way, nor have I sent him any money, or planned this in
any way with this party. This was strictly his own idea, as far as I know,
and he had nothing to do with LMT, or any others named on that Injunction,
as far as I know.

I suppose I should also issue the disclaimer, "IANAL", (I am NOT a
Lawyer), as well.
Nothing I have said in commentary, or suggestions, of what you should
do should be in any way construed to be any sort of "legal advice". I
offer it solely as my experience of dealing with the cult and it's
lawyers.
Arnie, Jeff and ladyla offer a good perspective when they say that a
lawyer needs to be well educated on the cults tactics, and preferably
have some experience in dealing with the legal shennanigans of the
"cult of the holy lawsuit". Get the best legal representation you can
afford if you can. If you can't, then whatever you do, do NOT go to any
deposition with them alone.

That being said, you also have the benefit of the past experiences of a
good number of folks who have faced off against the cult in depositions
and in the courtroom. You also have the benefit of the entire
"Clearwater 13" court proceedings in transcript, (and video by way of
XenuTV.). I mention that because to me this looks, on the face of it,
like a continuation of that.

Not much can prepare you for the experience of facing the cult and it's
lawyers in person, but do look at Mark Bunker's videos on XenuTV in the
legal videos section. You'll get at least a small sample of the kind of
characters you will likely be faced with, including Wally Pope.

I was deposed in l978 by the destructive cult of LRon Hubbard. I
called three attorneys
in San Francisco with the answer "You can't afford us and we can't
afford you" when I
said the word $cientology. I was lucky my friend in Redondo Beach, Ca.
Henrietta Crampton
called in her "marker" from an attorney who she had helped remove his
daughter from the
Moonies. He knew the cult and of course learned much more when he took
my case.
The cult sent a woman in from New York her name was Becky Chambers, she
could have
bit off a nail. Paulette had a lawyer come in to represent her in the
case. This depo was
done for one reason --to scare me into silence. It just didn't work,
In fact it made me see that
one must do all they can to expose this evil outfit.
I wish he was around to help Givin in CW. He really must have a lawyer
to represent him as
this group is evil to the core and will do anything to discredit him.

The following is not legal advice but merely an opinionated observation
formed by what information you've made available thus far, my general
knowledge of the law and my general knowledge of Scientology litigation
tactics. The primary goal of the deposition, I believe, is to prove agency
between yourself and a named party in the FLAG v. LMT lawsuit, namely
Patricia Greenway or Peter Alexander, since none of the other named parties
reside in the area any longer. The questions they ask you will likely
attempt to prove that you are under the control of Patricia and Peter--that
they have authority to control your conduct and in fact control your
conduct. It is only through agency that the injunction can be applied to
you, despite the fact that many people--unnamed parties--were served with
this same injunction in late 2000, including myself. While an at least
cosmetically plausible case for agency between the LMT and various picketers
could be made while the LMT was extant, its present-day non-existence should
effectively moot its applicability to persons such as yourself. But you
only have to be concerned with the suboena for the moment.

You might want to look up attorney Denis DeVlaming prior to your attending
this deposition, as he was the attorney who represented the LMT back in
early 2000 when Judge Penick handed this injunction down and may be most
familiar with its present applicability. You might also wish to contact
attorney Luke Lirot, as your subpoena was apparently mailed to him and he
may be wondering why. Both of these attorneys are familiar with and have
litigated against Scientology, and they may be able to limit the scope of
questions put to you in the deposition.

Girvin, Luke Lirot is also Joe Redner's lawyer, and specializes in
freedom of speech issues.

You might consider calling Joe as well, he has that cable access
freedom of speech show in Hillsborough, and is running for public
office so might jump at the chance to do something positive for the
community, like be your advocate.

It would be ...interesting to also call the American Family Association
since they also are concerned about abuses of people and the law by
Scn, Inc. Not too many issues would bring Redner and the AFA together,
but Scientology brings everyone together!

It took the cult over two weeks to come up with this brilliant battle
plan. This is very good evidence that the cult's gum disease is getting
quite severe and they seem to be slow and careful about biting anymore
because it hurts. Not to say they won't bite anymore, we know they
will, but their resources seem to be dwindling. Too many fires to put
out and not enough lawyers with buckets. Thank you, girvin, for making
their rotting gums hurt and for speeding up the demise of this sick,
evil cult.

Yes yes yes. Here we go into defensive mode, legal defense and so on.

You shot the footage you needed, right? Plenty at this point? An excess
of videotape, right?

Do a nice edit. Put a voiceover on it that describes the abuses. Stick
some music in there, Michael Moore style.

Turn your video production into a work of art. That's what scares them
most. Just make it a good video. You can do it. That's what they are
trying to prevent with this diversion. Up to you whether you follow
their lead and fall for it.

Girvin, did you see the video on youtube.com where the guy pointed his
camera at Big Blue to see how long it would take them to send out a
security guard? That music at the beginning was so perfect. Kind of a
lonely, forboding sound that went so well with the image of the looming

Hey! I thought of that back in 2000, when the LMT was playing with the
cult! We were gonna call it "Xtreme Tours" and make sure the cult
performed with the entire dog and pony show for our clients.

Can someone zip the images and mail it to me? Then I'll make a decent
album for it.

.jpg files are already compressed. Zipping them doesn't do much.

All well but the advantage for me is is getting one file instead of 20.

You see, I've paid my dues to society battling evil both money- and time-
wise (whyaretheydead.net has costed me thousands of dollars in a time when
no cable or DSL was available to me) and have come to a time that I only
do what I think is fun or absolute necessary. Before I would've clicked
all the links, saved the files to a folder and do the work. Now? No way
in hell. I offer what I want to do and leave it to them. Either way is
fine with me. I rather sit in the sun anyways reading a book than make an
album.
