A spokesclam named Alexis was on national TV here (Today Tonight )in
Australia in an interview/report out of the Grade V Org in Sydney.

The reporter asked about some supposed 'threats' since they aired
Panorama's 'Scientology and me' that the Grade V has recieved.

Alexis said "There was hate mail sent in saying, 'we're going to take
you out' or 'run you out of town'. That happened after the show"

If memory serves ( I watched all but the last 20% of the DVD), these
are almost word for word the threats that are mentioned in the DVD
scientology has sent out to DA Panorama and the BBC.

Can anyone tell me word for word what the threats were? The DVD is no
longer being shown on the DA website set up by the clams on the 8th of
May (not as far as I can see).

I am rather interested because an email was sent out internally about
the impending report by TT after them showing the panorama program.

TONIGHT

Dear Scientologist,

You may have seen the TV tonight Church spokesperson Virginia Stewart
was interviewed on a Current Affair regarding the BBC panorama TV show
that Channel 7 showed tonight.

Channel 7 set up the whole show and aired the UK program and showed
nothing of our side of the story however Channel 9 came and
interviewed us and gave our side of the story. The program is
completely biased and full of lies.

Go to www.freedommag.org to watch the Church's documentary about the
making of the BBC show. This gives the real story.

Please we need to have our voices heard. Put your story about
Scientology and what you got out of it on http://au.todaytonight.com/contact

Also go to A Current Affair website and write down what you got out of
Scientology as well.

Tell all of your friends.

ML,
Gina and Virginia

Great! Evidence of the scientologists explicitly asking to 'dead agent'
reporters. I am sure John Sweeney and many others would like to see
this, so now next time they could ask the PR what is it they meant by
'dead agent' in that email.

What is even more exciting to me is that this is evidence that the
church has not been able to control it's members AWAY from the
internet. The strategy is to now flood the members with propaganda
that will influence what they seee or read, and enjoin them to destroy
what we know is impossible: TRUTH ON THE INTERNET!!

'Dear Scientologist, whatever you do, don't read the internet' has
predictably backfired.

Our strategies should include welcoming the lurkers to see for
themselves because that is an inate right and part of the scientology
code of honor they have been tricked into not adhering to for fear of
retribution.

Control of members is all smoke and mirrors and I am glad to see this
post with an email that supports this.
