Raphael Aron, the Director of "Cult Counseling Australia" on radio on
the Xenophon/Scientology issues.
He talks about it being unfair that Scientology dismisses members as
"disgruntled."
He thinks Scientology should be an organization willing to talk to
them and work things out. What! This person is some kind of expert and
he says that? I think that is kind of misleading, in that he must know
what Scientologists do to employees especially, when they try to work
out some problem.
That's almost like buying into the Scientology spokeswoman who said
that Scientology is very open to answering anyone's questions, and is
always there to discuss things and work things out. No mention of sec
checks, RPF, Disconnection, freeloader debts, and other assorted
intimidation that is routine.
Two of your kids are dead though Scientology-related accidents? "Oh we
can help you with that!" "Didn't we handle that before, when we got
you to agree to no further investigation to KSW?" "Maybe if you donate
$50,000 we can call L. Ron on his space ship and make sure your
daughters get good meat bodies at the implant station."
This guy mentions some good points, but waffles too much. Sure, the
anti-psych stance is potentially dangerous and totally nutty, but
there are so many other policies and abuses that could be pointed out
too.
Yea, he's sort of mealy-mouthed, and could also use a bit if help with
his hair and beard styling.
