Couple charged with selling child's prescription medicine
CHEBOYGAN, Mich. A northern Michigan couple is accused of selling their
child's prescription medicine on the street.
Twenty-eight-year-old Angela Cunningham and 36-year-old James
Cunningham are being held in the Cheboygan County Jail. Their
eleven-year-old son has been placed in protective custody.
Investigators say Angela Cunningham emptied capsules containing her
son's Ritalin and replacing the medication with sugar.
The woman is charged with Delivery of an Imitation Controlled
Substance. She and her husband also face charges including use of
methadone, use of marijuana, and maintaining a drug house.
