His hosting service provider received a DCMA complaint (hosting
service provider located in Orem, UT if I am not mistaken). He didn't
see the complaint at the time he wrote me. So as of now, it's pure
speculation to try and figure from where the complaint originate. Yes,
Mike is not spending any more time on his web site, he has already
dedicated over a decade to collect a huge amount of information.
Whatever Mike's decision is with regard with his web site and this
DCMA complaint, there is no doubt that his site will be back one way
or another. I hope we will see the content of the DCMA complaint soon.

I have watched the whyaretheydead.net just a few minutes ago (yes, it
is possible) and I think it is a matter of "fair use", not copyright
infringement.
