"California Republican Rep. Darrell Issa is the richest lawmaker on
Capitol Hill, with a net worth estimated at about $251 million."

Why, that NASTY grasping, selfish Republican! How DARE he hoard such
wealth with so many starving homeless undocumented immigrant children
of color in this country?

Who are the next four richest? We The People oughta go to WA DC and
just rend them limb from limb and devour their wriggling carcasses!
That'd teach them! Then the honest, upright, generous Democrats could
make SURE that wealth is fairly distributed; everybody KNOWS Democrats
aren't Evil Grasping Hoarders!

"Next in line: Rep. Jane Harman (D-Calif.), worth about $244.7
million; Sen. Herb Kohl (D-Wis.), worth about $214.5 million; Sen.
Mark Warner (D-Va.), worth about $209.7 million; and Sen. John Kerry
(D-Mass.), worth about $208.8 million."

Yes, we should collect all the assets, wealth, and
resources available to humanity, specifically taking it
away from achievers, and then, distribute it all equally
among all people by dividing it fairly. THEN there will
be no more war, gangs and poverty. Everyone will be happy
and we can spend more time singing and drinking
Coca-cola.

Here's an idea. Every year, we have a lottery. First, one person with
assets over $100 million is chosen, and then one person with assets
under $1 million is chosen. All except $1 million is taken from the
first person and given to the second.

That way, we have wealth redistribution without equality.

If the first guy had 150 Million, then the newly rich guy
would be eligible to be stripped of his new wealth the following year.

There's a guy in my area who was famous for
literally starting his big company in a garage.

I heard that over and over.

Then I found out he DID start in his garage
but with MILLIONS of dollars his wife
had inherited!

People only tried telling me the ""garage""
story one or twice after that but I
confess I enjoyed unloading on them.

The problem with that theory is that they're going to tax old wealth

Who said anything about achievers? Those were senators. This country
already takes everything from the achievers, outsources their jobs, and
gives billion dollar bonuses to the CEOs, whether their company makes
or loses money. And the politicians spend much more money running
for office than they earn from their salaries.

I don't know which would be scarier: a world where 9/11 could happen, or
a world where airliners could be pre-emptively shot down to prevent a
possible 9/11. Think of the people on that Northwest flight.

I'm just sayin'. It's was *already* routine procedure to
scramble fighters for hijackings. Whoever decided whatever
was *not* the President.

*That* is scary too. It might even be less scary, but that
is another story.

Of course! He can make much more money spreading his warmingist propaganda.

Palin figured out that there's a lot more money to be made as a speaker,
author and "consultant" than as a government official too, you know. :-)

You do know that making money is bad only when liberals do it, don't
you? It is perfectly fine for conservatives to successfully collect all
of the money.

Well, of course.

When Liberals *make* money they never back the paper with anything.

When Conservatives *collect* money, the Liberals tax it away from
them.

I can't understand why anybody's paying any attention at all to Sarah
Palin. She's been nothing but a bad joke since day one.

Probably the "liberal" media keep trotting her out to continue to rub
the Republicans' nose into the Obama win, which, BTW, is leading the
Republic down into the bottomless abyss of Socialism.

Thanks,
Rich

I tell ya what. You find a way to stop the North Pole,
and the glaciers from melting as they are, so that we
don't end up with a billion or two displaced illiterate
"tourists", and...fix the weather too, ok? And those
nasty "dead zones" on the ocean floor which are big
as the state of Texas and growing.

If you'll fix all that...then I'll personally deliver the
head of Al Gore, or anyone else you want, in a
shiny hat box.

You do understand the North Pole doesn't make a bit of difference to sea
level, right? Greenland, that's another story.

The North Pole is just the tip of the iceberg.

But another disruption in the Humbolt current is
going to spell disaster, again. It's my faaavorite
thermohaline conveyor. As in...

Thermohaline Conveyor
A global water circulation system driven by water temperature and salt-
density that distributes water between the Earth’s oceans. Warmer
water closer to the ocean's surface travels from the northern Pacific
Ocean, south through the Indian Ocean (where it is joined by more warm
water), around the southern tip of Africa, and up to the northern
Atlantic Ocean. At this point, the water cools and sinks toward the
bottom of the ocean and travels back via the same path. The
thermohaline conveyor is repsonsibile for bringing warmer, more
temperate climate to most of Europe and has a profound effect on
global climate.

And Al Gore?

Don't shoot the messenger.

Simple. Just send Reverend Gore to the sun to turn down the thermostat.

And, of course, develop nuclear rockets to "correct" Earth's orbital
perturbations.

Dupe.

The shadow cast by his bloated body on the way there will
likely cause plenty of global cooling.
