SSC: MusicMatch Jukebox Exposes My Unhepitudeness

I bought my first music CD about a year ago, when I bought my truck.
It came with a CD player, so I figured what the hey, time to get with
the times.
SSC Part Deux:
I had to axe the car-salesman guy to 'splain to me what a CD changer
was . . . is . . . has the potential to be.
SSC Part the Third:
Apart from a boom box I bought a couple months ago for my wife's
sewing room, the only thing in my house capable of playing a music CD
is my computer. Then again, I haven't tried the toaster, which has a
setting for bagels but not for CDs. I see a great need.
So I'm playing around with MusicMatch Jukebox with the idea in mind
that I'll transfer some of my many, many cassettes to CDs.
Transferring cassettes to CDs appears to be an activity best left to
those afflicted with obsessive-compulsion disorder (OCD, in case I
have to refer to it again, and let me take this opportunity to note
that many of my students would coin an acronym in the first paragraph
of their papers and then never refer to that acronymized thing again;
WTF?).
Anyway, please to be explaining the following music genres that
MusicMatch Jukebox prompts me to use to classify my music:
space
trailer
trip top
power ballad
porn groove (IANMTU)
pop funk
national rock
Lo Fi
free style
darkwave
cult
chanson (The Hanson Brothers split up?)
dance hall
Scariest category?
Christian Rap
And why does Primus get its own category?

a lot of those classifications are probably forms of
techno. techno has all these weird genres that all
sound the same, but the techno people fight over which
is better.

After several years of listening to, making, and DJ'ing
various kinds of electronic music, I'm fairly certain
that "house" is what you get when turn up the "swing"
knob on your TR-909. If you turn it down, it's "trance."
I don't own a 909, so I'm "IDM."

"House" is really repetitive techno that features a piano
playing three or for chords and a black woman (or black-sounding
Asian woman) singing one or two lines and/or speaking a short
phrase, also repeated indefinitely. If you're listening to
music and you look around and notice that most of the other
people are shirtless men, it's probably house.

Like "Ride On Time" by Black Box. Although nowadays, the term is often
used loosely to describe any generic dance music with a strong beat.
Daft Punk is housy, as is/was Stardust (eg "Music Sounds Better With
You").
Perhaps a better understanding of what house music is can be gained by
considering what is _not_ house. William Shatner was never 'house' and
nor was Hitler, although many critics do not consider Hitler to be a
bone fide artist.

OK, it's still working, although the only wokka chikka I
heard was on the entry page. the music being streamed right
this second sounds more like something tangerine dream would
do. but I don't think they did pron music.
it's all ethereal and stuff! how could you do pron to this?
pr0n that used this kind of music would be like double lotus
position or something instead of any of the standard sexual
maneuvres.
speaking of which: is there even such a thing as tantric
pr0n? not a training video with sting giving a boring lecture,
then going to town on his wife... I mean like standard pr0n
plots, but with tantric moves.

And it was being looped.
Given that the site was streaming MP3, there's likely a collection of
MP3 files somewhere that fit the category of pr0n music. There may be
hope yet.

Man, and I thought I was the only lamer here. Are you sure you weren't
hung up on the last step of configuring/testing your browser? That's
what I did. I sat here for minutes like an idiot listening to some
looped Tito Puente-like Latin Jazz, thinking "Very nice, but not pr0n
music." Then I saw the question, "Can you hear the music?" and the
buttons labeled YES, NO, and WHAT MUSIC?
Go back and try it again. You will be rewarded with pr0n music.

Oh yeah, that was just the test stream. If you click on "Done"
you get the porno music. But most of it is lame crap music instead
of wockachicka music.

actually, I don't remember what I did the first time I
tried the page, which was a year ago. but anyways, my
computer magically remembered how to play music.
of course, I had to wait until RIGHT NOW to hear something
that actually sounded pr0ny. not wokka chikka, but a heavy
bass riff with distorted wah-wah guitar licks on top.
ooh! I heard a vestigial wokka!
