If you click onto this link you can go back to the wonderful Old
Google Groups Format.

I much prefer the old format and am using it now.

Sometimes as I have noticed recently, it doesn't give you a choice or
option like it used to do. I stumbled onto this link and put it in my
mailbox, so if I don't want to get stuck, I have an option to use the
Old Google Groups. The New Google Groups is ambiguous and not eye-
appealing at all to me.

Why not use a FREE news server like so many others? They sure beat Google
Groups.

Well I don't know, since that's all I use, and have ever used. They
do have quite a bit of what I like. I can post to multiple groups,
use other nicks so I can post all day if I want, and there is a huge
audience. And how am I going to get FREE when I have to pay for my
internet service anyway?

You can always do what you did before, Gary Bergman, when you lived in Painted
Post NY. Ride your bicycle down to the library and use their computers.

A news server isn't an ISP. You must have an ISP to connect to a news
server. Stick with what you're used to.

All I know is I use Time-Warner Triple Play for cable, internet, and
