The Story of the Man of Miracles, Doctor Dahesh, the Miracle-working
Prophet of Lebanon.

IN the city of Jerusalem, in the year 1912, there was born a man-child
named Saleem Moosa El-Awshee (he was a descendant of the prophets
Elijah and Elisha)
2 He was born of a Christian woman, a Palestinian, a God-fearing
woman, a virtuous women.
3 At the age of one year he became sick, and an American doctor, a
Protestant missionary in Palestine, was fetched to try to cure him of
his illness.
4 The doctor was not sure what was wrong with the child, and did not
know which medicine to give him, but the child spoke in perfect
English and said, "I am the Way, and I am the Guide! I am the cure to
every disease! Give the child such and such medicine and he will
recover swiftly!"
5 The doctor was amazed at what he saw and heard, and was unable to
speak, but he gave the child the correct medicine, and the child soon
recovered.
6 At the age of 8 years, young Saleem was playing with other children
in the streets of Beirut, Lebanon, when another child riding a bicycle
was struck by a truck; the child and his bicycle were both horribly
mangled.
7 A crowd gathered around the child, and some in the crowd said,
"There is nothing we can do for him!"
8 Then Saleem approached, and touched the child saying, "Get up and be
whole, you have been healed by the permission of God!"
9 The child raised up as if nothing had happened and asked where his
mother was, and he looked at his mangled bicycle and began to cry.
10 Saleem then took hold of the bicycle, and lifted it up upon its
wheels, and the crowd and child were both amazed to see the bicycle
was no longer mangled but appeared as new without even a scratch.
11 At the age of twelve years, Saleem was living in Bethlehem with his
aunt and uncle. They were very poor, and the entire family lived and
slept in one large room.
12 Saleem loved to read books well into the night, and burned kerosene
in a lamp so he could read; covered with a sheet so as not to disturb
the others sleeping in the room.
13 His aunt said to Saleem, "You can no longer read books after bed
time! We are poor, and you are using all of our kerosene! Do not read
books past sunset!"
14 That night the aunt and uncle saw Saleem covered by a sheet,
reading a book, with the light. They became angry, and tore the sheet
from over him, only to see that he had no lamp, but a light emanated
from both of his eyes that illumined the book.
15 The aunt screamed in horror, and the uncle became speechless. They
asked the priests (for they were Christians) about this, and the
priests said, "The book is possessed by an evil spirit, you must burn
the book in a corner of your house, and leave the ashes in that
corner, and the spirit will have no place to inhabit and will leave
your house!"
16 The next day, while Saleem was out, the aunt and uncle took the
book and burned it in a corner of their house, which was one large
room, and left the ashes in the corner.
17 Later that day Saleem returned, and asked "Where is my book?" His
aunt and uncle denied they knew what happened to the book or where it
was.
18 Saleem went over to the ashes in the corner, struck it hard with
his hand, and the ashes became again the book; only the book appeared
to be new and unused.
19 The aunt and uncle believed that Saleem was possessed by an evil
spirit, for how else was he able to perform such miracles?
20 Their priest told them to take Saleem to a priest named Father
Peter, who would exorcise the evil spirit from him, and save the young
man.
21 They took Saleem to Father Peter in Jerusalem, and said, "Please,
we beg you, cast the evil spirit out of this child! For the evil
spirit performs miracles through him!"
22 Father Peter performed an exorcism upon Saleem, but the young man
continued to perform miracles just as before.
23 The aunt and uncle did not know what to do, so they took Saleem to
a friar (monk), called Friar Boutros, who said to the lad: "In the
name of God I cast you out of Evil One! Come out of the lad in the
name of Jesus of Nazareth!"
24 Saleem said, "I have no evil spirit in me, but you have one in you,
and I will cast him out of you!" 25 Frair Boutros said, "In the name
of God and the Holy Angels, I cast you out of evil one! Come out of
this lad!"
26 Saleem took a piece of rope, about a yard long, from a table and
said, "Frair, please take the other end of this rope, and the Spirit
will perform a miracle for you and everyone else who is here to see!"
27 The monk took the other end of the rope, and immediately the rope
became a snake, that wrapped itself around the monk's neck in a very
threatening way.
28 The old friar bulged his eyes, and screamed for God's help, but the
snake remained wrapped around his neck hissing.
19 The other priests cried to God and the angels for help, but nothing
happened; the snake would not let the old friar go.
20 Finally, the other friars begged the lad Saleem, saying, "Please
young lad, release Brother Boutros from this spell!"
21 Saleem said, "By the permission of God, you are released! It is
only a rope!"
22 Saleem grabbed the snakes head, and again, instantly, it became a
rope.
23 The friars (Catholic monks are called "friars") told the aunt and
uncle to never bring Saleem to them again, and they warned all the
Christians of Jerusalem and Bethlehem to not let their children around
Saleem, or to let him into their homes.
24 But not all the Christians obeyed this, and Saleem did some friends
and companions, and he continued to perform astonishing miracles.
25 At the age of 17, while living in Bethlehem (he spent his summers
in Bethlehem with his aunt and uncle and the rest of the year in
Beirut with his mother), a group of Assyrians (Iraqi Christians) were
visiting Bethlehem on a pilgrimage.
26 The Assyrians decided to go picnic at the pools of Solomon; large
pools of water just outside of Bethlehem.
27 Saleem and a group of his young companions decided to accompany the
Assyrians to the pools of Solomon; for it was a hot day, and a few of
them wated to go swimming.
29 The Assyrians picniced beside on the large pools, and one of them
said, "If Jesus was here today, He would walk upon these waters!"
30 Saleem heard this and said, "Yes, I can do that! I can walk upon
the waters as I walk upon dry land!" and he commensed to walk upon one
of the pools as a man walks upon the ground.
31 The Assyrians could not believe what they were seeing, and several
jumped into the water to make sure it was deep (and they sank below
their heads in the water)
32 Saleem walked from one end of the pool to the other, and when he
returned they checked his shoes, which were not even wet.
33 One Assyrian said, "This young Palestinian walked upon the waters,
and his shoes aren't even wet!"
34 At that the Assyrians shouted "DAHESH! DAHESH!" ( which in the
Assyrian language means "WONDERFUL! WONDERFUL!")
35 From that day onward, the friends and companions of Saleem no
longer called him Saleem, but "Dahesh".
36 Dahesh continued to perform supernatural miracles in Bethlehem,
during the Summer months, and the rest of the time at his home in
Beirut, Lebanon; which became his sole home when he became an adult.
37 During the 1920s his fame as a worker of supernatural miracles
began to grow, and many people wanted to meet him including poets, and
artists, and journalists, and many famous people from Lebanon and
Egypt and Syria and Palestine came to meet him and witness his
miracles.
38 Also, Dahesh would give people detailed prophecies about their
lives, and these prophecies were come true in every detail.
39 Many Lebanese students in France heard of the miracles of Dahesh,
and told of these miracles to their French friends and fellow-students
and professors in Paris.
40 In 1930, the Sage Institute of Paris granted Dahesh an honorary
Doctorate in Psychic Studies, because of his reputation as a psychic
and worker of miracles; and from that day his followers called him
"Doctor Dahesh".
41 On March 20th, 1942, Doctor Dahesh decided it was time to announce
his mission to the world: he proclaimed that he was sent to this world
by his Heavenly Father, to establish the Dahesh Mission, and the
purpose of the Dahesh Mission was to prove the existence of God, and
the immortality of the soul, by way of his supernatural miracles.
42 He proclaimed that humanity would destroy itself in a great nuclear
war if it did not repent of its greed and atheism, and return to God
and The Way of Return to the Heavenly Planets.
43 He proclaimed that Daheshism was not a new religion, but a a
combination of all the truths found in all the religions that were
founded by a true Messenger (Razool), or Prophet (Nabi), or Guide
(Muhaddas).
44 He taught reincarnation, that we are spirits who have lived many
lives on other planets, and we shall have as many as six thousands
lifetimes on this planet, and that we shall have many more lifetimes
on other planets until we return to God.
45 He taught that we are judged solely on our deeds in life; not on
what religion or caste or sect we belong to.
46 He taught that the Atheist or Pagan who does more good than the
Christian or Muslim shall receive a greater reward than they in the
afterlife.
47 He taught that all the true Prophets and Guides are the
incarnations of the sayyals (spiritual fluids) of Christ, the Lamb of
God.
48 He taught that Jesus would not come only twice to this planet, but
twenty four times, and that Jesus was the first and the last (meaning
all) of the four and twenty sinless prophets mentioned in the Book of
Revelation; who sit upon thrones with crowns on their heads, and
praise God and the Lamb daily.
49 He taught that Jesus and Christ were two different beings: Jesus
was a human sinless prophet, and Christ was the Word of God, the
creative force of the universe that dwelt in Jesus as water dwells in
a glass.
50 He taught that the Christ-Spirit will incarnate twenty-four times
on this planet, beginning with the Alpha incarnation (Jesus) in the
first century, and continuing one time per century until the Omega
incarnation in the 24th century.
51 He taught his disciples the Râmz ritual by which they could
supplicate the Spirit to heal the sick by miraculous means.
53 He taught that between incarnations we exist in the Spirit-World
with our loved ones.
54 He taught the existence of the Paradise planets and the Hell
worlds, and that Earth itself is a Hell world where the Sun burns our
skin, and we suffer pain, but the Paradise planets have all the joys
of earth-life but without pain or death as we know it here.
55 He taught that God loved most the people of Africa, because they
were the most spiritual and humble of all the peoples of the Earth.
56 He taught that those who shed innocent blood must spend one or more
lifetimes on a lower Hell world, which is much more evil than Earth,
and were Narakas (hell-beings) use humans as we use cattle or fish or
chickens; where humans drink boiling or freezing water and are given
only bitter fruits to eat.
57 He taught that only those who have been truly born again, who have
reached the 7th level of spirituality, who have died in God, who have
reached the mental state of Nirvana, who have become celebates
(eunuchs) for the sake of the Kingdom of Heaven, only those few shall,
upon death, enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; which are the Paradise
planets.
58 He taught that a life on a Paradise planet lasts thousands of even
millions of years, and that on these planets the mind controls matter,
and whatsoever we can imagine with our mind, that thing is created for
us on a Paradise planet.
59 He taught that there is no eternal Hell where people scream and
burn and cry for all eternity, but rather Hell-fire is a symbol of
millions of lifetimes upon Hell-worlds; where the Sun burns our skin,
we suffer pain, get hold, and die in misery, as it says in the Holy
Qu'ran: "And when their skins wear out we shall be give them new skins
in order that they may continue to feel the punishment." (50:30)
60 He taught that even the most evil souls will not be lost, but will,
after tens or hundreds or thousands or millions of lifetimes in the
Hell-worlds, they too will eventually be liberated from the wheel of
rebirth, and gain entrance into the Kingdom of Heaven.
61 He taught that God cares nothing about how much knowledge we have
in our heads, but He cares about how many good works we do with our
hands.
62 He taught that Jesus died for our sins, but we must suffer to burn
away our own evil karma, and the more we suffer in this life the less
we will have to suffer in the next life.
63 He taught that his religion was called The Way of Return to the
Heavenly Planets, the Good Religion, the Good News, the Pure Religion.
64 He taught that those who are Believers, but not eunuchs, will have
a very good reincarnation if they practice the Pure Religion.
65 When a seeker came to him and asked, "Dahesh, can you perform
miracles?" he would reply, "I can do no miracle, but the Spirit can do
anything through me, what miracle would you like to see?" and the
miracle would happen just as the seeker requested.
66 When a seeker came to him and asked, "Dahesh, does God want me to
be a Christian or a Muslim?" he would reply, "God does not care what
you call yourself or by what name or title you use, or what religion
you claim, but He cares only about you practicing the Good Religion:
good thoughts, good words, and good deeds!"
67 When a seeker came to him and asked, "Dahesh, are you Jesus
returned?" he told them, "I was ordered by my Father to descend to
this ungrateful world, and so I did. Not a single person is good--
indeed, no one does good but God, Blessed be His Name! As for me, I
have pledged myself to walk the Path of Truth, the Path of Divine
Love, the Path of Divine Light. No matter what tribulations and
calamities come my way, no matter how much I am persecuted, no matter
how much I am tormented, no matter how much I suffer and weep, no
matter what befalls me of afflictions and calamities, my right hand
shall never yield the torch of Truth imparted to me by my Heavenly
Father to bring light into the regions of this world of extreme
darkness."
68 The Christian priests and the Muslim clerics opposed him at every
step, saying that he performed his miracles with the power of Satan
(the enemies of Jesus said the very same thing about him!)
69 The president of Lebanon cast him out of the country into Syria,
and he travelled from Syria to Turkey and from Turkey to Iran, and in
Iran he was shot to death as a spy (he was an innocent in chains), but
he arose from the dead as did Lazarus, and returned to Beirut and
during the next thirty years he performed thousands of miracles, and
they are recorded in the Daheshist Chronicles (twenty volumes in the
Arabic language).
70 In 1975 he flew into New York City, on a jet, in the clouds, the
very year that the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society had fortold that
Jesus would appear in the clouds over New York City.
71 For the next nineteen years Dahesh lived in New York, performing
miracles, and travelled the world by jet, in the clouds, and before he
passed he told his disciples: "In one of your earthly hours, the
Beloved and Guiding Prophet will leave you, however, do not be sad, my
beloved, because another Guide will be in your midst; this Guide is of
the same Spirit as your departing Guide and He will come from His
Lofty World and gather you."
72 On the 9th of April, 1984, Doctor Dahesh departed from this evil
world, and ascended to the Kingdom of Heaven from which he came, to
await the time he shall again return to this planet, to teach us once
again the Way of Return to the heavenly planets.

I am responding to this posting as a matter of record. My name is
Mounir Murad and I am a Daheshist since childhood. I have known Dr.
Dahesh personally as a child and as an adult. I am well versed with
the teachings of Dr. Dahesh and Daheshism and I have many essays,
books, commentaries, and translations all based on the works of Dr.
Dahesh and the teachings of Daheshism. I am currently the webmaster of
http://daheshism.com and http://daheshblog.com

For the past 4 years I have witnessed Mr. Evenson take certain
Daheshist principles, distort them, and cast them as the teachings of
Dr. Dahesh and Daheshism. I have written to Mr. Evenson about the
subject and informed him plainly that his actions constitute a
"hijacking" of Daheshism and that Daheshism does not teach what he
professes it teaches. His response to me was childish and immature and
kept on fabricating teachings and attributing them to Daheshism. Dr.
Brax, on several occasions, had asked Mr. Evenson to correct his ways,
yet his requests fell on deaf ears.

Mr. Evenson is clearly free to say what he wants, but it is also my
duty as a Daheshist to rebuke what he is saying. I harbor no ill
feelings towards Mr. Evenson but I find myself obligated to alert the
readers about his misrepresentation of Dr. Dahesh and Daheshism.

May God enlighten his path!

Sincerely,

Mounir Murad
