Modern colonialism demands immediate occupation after a short war and
immediate change in the ruling elite from the people to be governed
by
the colonizer. Colonization of Iraq, an exception to the rule, came
through after eight years of acts of savagery by the United States of
America to the tune of killing about one million Iraqis, injuring
over
two million Iraqis mostly seriously, and displacing over eight
million
Iraqis some of whom are not allowed to come back to Iraq being
refugees in other Arab countries. The United States of America has
been fighting the dirtiest type of wars where civilian casualty is
high and destruction of cities through door-to-door fighting with
cluster bombs, depleted Uranium bombs, 500 pound and 1000 pound
bombs,
and sea-land-air attacks .
Although such a war on Iraq has been condemned by the world community
as a war of aggression and colonization, the United States of America
refuses to leave Iraq to its people and refuses to compensate the
Iraqis for its aggression against the innocent population of Iraq and
the sovereignty of the Iraqi government. One would say that the
previous president of the United States of America was a butcher
thug,
the infamous George W. Bush, and that this president thug invaded
Iraq
for exploiting the Iraqi oil, the Iraqi market, and the Iraqi
strategic position in both the Arab and Muslim worlds as a station to
colonize all Arab and Muslim countries. One would think that the
new
president Barak Husein Obama, more respected by the world community,
would reverse the acts of the thug president and provide reparations
of war especially when the United States of America has been the
aggressor. But president Obama did not intend to reverse the
objectives of the previous thug president now that the Iraqis are
more
obedient to USA demands and follow USA policies and economic
interests. President Obama is perpetuating American colonialism by
not withdrawing all American troops out of Iraq. Then what does the
so-called troop withdrawal mean?
Troop withdrawal is conditional. If the Iraqis revolt against USA
interests, troops stay to enforce USA interests. Even if the Iraqis
are fully in servitude to American will, USA troops in excess of
fifty
thousands will stay in Iraq permanently. Mind you that such number
is
over and above the number of USA “military civilians” that would be
operating within Iraq and receiving orders from the American City
Embassy in Baghdad. If an Iraqi government prohibits USA, USA hits
left and right. If you think that the two presidents are acting as
bad-cop, good-cop, then you are right. Both cops have the same
objectives. Think it this way, the bad cop got USA that far and Iraq
is quiet, then why should the good cop abolish what the bad cop had
achieved by force?
Iraq will stay a colony of the United States of America until the
people drive the American troops out of Iraq. Although this seems
improbable now, knowing the Iraqi people, it will happen or there
will
be no peace in the Middle East.
