So, according to the British S.I.S. , THE SONG is TRUE !!!

- here performed in the Moneygall Pub, around the corner from the
house where Obama is supposed to have been born in Ireland, according
to the British.

However, Gerry Adams, President of Sinn Fein / IRA has publicly
accused the British of actually writing THE SONG and paying The
Corrigans off to sing it - and shut up !

Mr. Adams MP charged last night : " There is no limit to which the
British will not stoop to prevent a decent Irishman like President
Obama from continuing on as President of the USA ! "

This was hotly denied by British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, suddenly
summoned to Washington to explain, who counter--charged that Mr.
Adams is obviously gone back to his wily old tricks in an attempt to
embarrass the U.K. Government internationally in an attempt to drive a
permanent wedge in Anglo-American relations .

What is there to say to that Michael,
If the story is true Gerry Adams must have a head full of shredded
newspaper if he really believes someone from America's social elite is
'a good Irishman'. America's high culture, the sole perview of its
social elite, is responsible for oppressing people in America as well
as outside America. There is no chance that oboma actually has any
kind of values resembling ours and nothing that a PR company can spin
will make Obama 'a good Irishman'.

Adams is probably just trying to shake off some taint of racism
accumulated during the propaganda war.

James, Obama is hardly social elite - the poor fella is on pin money
compared to our guys ! And he only has a loan of the house, Air Force
One, the staff and all the paraphenalia, only to be chucked out after
four years on the street , just when he's getting used to it all, to
be shacked up with a couple of secret service men for the rest of his
days.

And in the meantime he has to do what he's told and be blamed for
everything. Come to think of it, Gerry Adams has a lot more than
Obama, more lasting fame ( notoriety) too, and that real glamour that
comes with having once been Head Honcho of the IRA with a real Che
Guevara flavour.

( I was just joking heh heh heh ) .

But the fact is that Obama is half Irish and we have to look after
him .

I was recently in America's second largest Irish city (NYC). No one in
Connelly's Pub responded to "Go mBeannaí Dia anseo!" Their pints were
small but had a good taste and head on them. The pork chops were
coooked in roasted pecans (which I'm surprised I never had being from
the place where pecans were invented :-)

The long and the short of it is I'm wondering if everyone has lost
their sense of being Irish over here when it's real people that are
doing the eating, drinking and greeting?

Now would you be telling me that Richard Harris was Irish? I know he
played an IRA rep in one of those Tom Clancy books. My Irish teacher,
Declan Conroy (lo those many years ago), said that he and Richard were
drinking buddies, but that could be because Richard was in Ireland
doing a film. I fear that there would be not a lick of faction or non-
faction support should a gang of Sassanach jump me anywhere near here
and I am near Obamington, DC right now.

What has happened to the English is that, having finally put their
house in order , their last Prime Minister goes and dumps them into
the middle of an unnecessary war, a war that they despise, a war that
everybody in Ireland despises .

And, yes, it is an unnecessary war in Iraq, and so is the war in
Afghanistan, because if 911 had any lasting message it would be that
of Peace , that is what the victims would want with all their hearts
and souls.

What I fear is that if this policy continues, the West will be
committing itself to centuries of war abroad, and not wars fought on
high principle either, such as both world wars last century, and the
Korean War too ( which gave us Samsung amongst several other worthless
things ) , but petty little wars here and there, everywhere and
anywhere, while we ignore the essential ' wars' - wars on want, on
poverty, on famine in Africa, on illiteracy and deprivation, wars on
behalf of a State that wants to survive though the odds are against
that because of its situation in the midst of hundreds of millions of
its neighbours, powerful and rich in oil, but wars too in which only
the poor impoverished people on the ground suffer . can you maintain a
country, a nation, that nobody around it wants, that everybody around
it hates .....

And is it even sensible from an economic point of view to continue to
wage such wars in the midst of the world''s greatest financial
recession since the Great Depression ?

Cheers,
Michael .

hahaha yeah it is a pity but it was a good jape Michael.

Almost as good as the headline on the front page of the liffey
champion this week. "Odour control unit needed for Celbridge Smell".
Someones going to pay for either the funny joke or the bad mistake. I
can hear house prices crashing hehe.
