that when he opened his email at his offices this morning, there it
was - an emaiil from the USA from the Biggest Crank of all time !
Said he couldn't name the sender as the regulations of his profession
preclude him from disclosing personal identities, even of CRANKS, but
we can all here guess who Lanigan meant - and we would all be
right :-)

I can respect your reasoning and actions here. The motives of and
actions of others in this attack are very low and unworthy it seems.
Yours are to get to the truth and to encourage learning. That's what I
get anyway.
Michael may or may not have problems. In this Internet age and world
it is too easy to play fast and loose with information until
perception is buried under entire garbage dumps of information. That
is when one on the Druid way must look beyond the banter and the bytes
to see to the heart of the matter.
A Seer with one foot in this world and one in the Other may not at all
times be considered sane, moral or even pleasant to be around.
However. there are many worlds and even more ways of looking at them.
Viewing the situation through the mists or the heat of the fire are
both time honored ways of cutting out the hubris and debris of human
emotions and distortion.
Please don't think my words were meant for you (though these words are
specifically for you). I generally ignore the carps and the slimes of
a.r.d. conversations by others and only see their remarks in passing
when reading postings by people I respect. I respect you and will be
more than happy to engage you in a discussion of the merits of
Michael's presence here. None of us are without our flaws.
It is not our short comings and peculiarities that make any posting
here worth reading or responding. It is the knowledge and information
that is there through their doorways that count. Some of these
doorways lead to sick minds and spirits while others lead to
Otherliness. Finding an walking the Druid way through these doorways
is a matter of what is to be discovered.
Do only the harm that is necessary and remember that the edge of the
knife knows no master.

If someone was brought to your attention that was providing erroneous
information to the public that could clearly be a detriment to the way
DeVane Engineering was viewed by potential clients to the company,
making grandiose claims with nothing at all to back them up, providing
thoroughly false information to those seeking a reputable engineering
consulting firm, badmouthing other consulting firms, accusing other
firms of illegal actions, just what would you do?
Wait before you answer, I have more.
Let us say that this individual was overseas, out of your immediate
reach for . Now, you go on a search and find that this individual is
not even part of any company, but presenting themselves as such. You
also find out that the connections that they list are false, their
credentials are a hoax, and that they are considered unstable by the
local populace of the area, the local constabulatory...and their
family (who chooses to ignore the problem rather than aide in
resolving it). Now, threats and erroneous information have been made
to, and about, yourself, your family, and your business. You can see
that if this person's actions keep up, it has the distinct potential
for damaging the credibility of the Consulting Engineering Industry,
let alone your own.
Can you honestly say that you would not take whatever means you could
find to try and silence this person for the betterment of the Industry?
