Few people understand the word "Lord." This word refers to "Master" or
"Ruler."

"The Lord said to my lord" is a phrase few understand.

Your "lord" is your "head" or your "mind." "The" Lord refers to God.

"My Lord" refers to self; the ruler of the mind of self.

Confusion expands when referring to the type and kind of person whom God
creates, who is "my lord."

The "new creation" of God which is the creation by giving a new mind and a
new spirit, is the "lord" of the "House of God;" the "House" God builds.

Each person "rules" their mind by the contents thereof. Those who are the
"creation of God" have the mind of Christ. These, rule the mind by the Word
of God that has established knowledge and understanding of the great and
high principles of God, principles that structure a way of life, the life
God gives mankind to live.

Another word for this "lord" is "King." In this matter, the "kingdom" this
King rules is the mind and the life structured by the principles of the
mind. The "Kings" that are the "Kings of God" are those ruling their mind by
the principles of God. Jesus of Nazareth was a King of these Kings. So were
the other Sons of God. These, received the "Kingdom of God, which is the
mind created by God they ruled, with God as "head." This "Godhead" refers to
the mind God has created in mankind.

The Kingdom of God, being within those having received this Kingdom from
God, is what they are King and ruler of. These are the "King of Salem" and
the "King of Peace." These have received the "City of Peace" which is
Jerusalem, the spiritual "city" wherein they dwell, dwelling on the matters
of God in their minds. These are established in the order of Melchisedec.

8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he
suffered;
9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto
all them that obey him;
10 Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.

7:1 For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who
met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;
2 To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by
interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem,
which is, King of peace;
3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning
of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a
priest continually.

The Sons of God are created and established in the order of Melchisedec.
They are the "new creations" of God, having received the mind and spirit of
Christ and therefore having Christ in them, who is their "lord."

The "Sons of God" are the saved of God, saved from the mind and spirit
mankind creates in mankind, for this mind and spirit is not of God but of
the "fallen" mankind, the kings of this world of darkness mankind has
created for himself; his social orders.

It is a way of life structured by principles chosen by mankind that are not
of God. It is a life of darkness which is to lack knowledge of the truth
that is of God. These have the "lord of darkness" as their lord. This same
"lord of darkness" is the "evil one."

The "righteous one" is the Son of God. The evil one is the son of Satan,
those of mankind not of God. Each is a ruler and a lord, ruling their mind
by the contents of the mind. Each lives a life structured by the contents of
the mind each possesses.

A Psalm of David. The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand,
until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
2 The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the
midst of thine enemies.
3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of
holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.
4 The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever
after the order of Melchizedek.
5 The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his
wrath.
6 He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead
bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.
7 He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the
head.
111:1 Praise ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, in
the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.
2 The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have
pleasure therein.
3 His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for
ever.
4 He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious
and full of compassion.
5 He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of
his covenant.
6 He hath showed his people the power of his works, that he may give them
the heritage of the heathen.
7 The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are
sure.
8 They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.
9 He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for
ever: holy and reverend is his name.
10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding
have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
