Curious if you look at the Last Supper painting by Da Vinci it looks like a
woman sitting to Jesus's right side.
I thought all the disciples were men.
So why did he paint this person so it looks feminine.
Or was one of the disciples a feminine looking man?
God Bless

Davinci was a painter. He wasn't AT the Last Supper, nor did have a clue of
how anyone looked. Also Davinci HATED Christ and made a mockery of Him and
His life in many hidden ways in many of his painting. Remember it is just a
painting, NOT a recreation.

Tuxedo Darien,

Paintings of Bible people is the artist's conception of them, not the
Bible's description of them.

The Bible tells us that at the 'last supper', Jesus was sitting only with
his twelve apostles. (and the Bible shows all of his 12 apostles to be men)
Mt 26:20,

"Now when evening had come, He was reclining at the table with the twelve
disciples." (NASB)

Just who were these 12 "disciples"? Luke gives us more information at Lu
22:14,

"And when the hour had come He reclined at the table, and the apostles with
Him" (NASB)

Thus Jesus ate then with his 12 (male) apostles.

I hope the Bible verses above have helped to answer your question.

Sincerely, James

I was looking at Da Vinci's The Last Supper, trying to scope out the
anomalies mentioned in Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code, when I happened
upon a curious symbol. What I'm about to reveal has never been
documented before as far as I know. Once I show you this symbol, you
will never see this painting the same way again. No, it's not a dagger
or Mary Magdalene. It's not obvious until you are told it's there, and
then you will never ever miss it again.
