Expanding Spot on Venus Puzzles Astronomers

Astronomers are trying to determine the cause of an expanding spot
seen in Venus' atmosphere.
(PhysOrg.com) -- The expanding spot discovered on Venus last month may
not have garnered as much attention as the meteor impact with Jupiter,
but its cause is certainly more puzzling.
While astronomers are pretty sure that the new spot seen in Jupiter's
landscape is caused by impact, there is evidence that this is not true
of the spot seen on Venus. New Scientist reports on why astronomers
don't think the spot of Venus was caused by a meteor:
"The spot is bright at ultraviolet wavelengths, which may argue
against a meteoroid impact as a cause. That's because rocky bodies,
with the exception of objects very rich in water ice, should cause an
impact site to darken at ultraviolet wavelengths as it fills with
debris that absorbs such light, says Sanjay Limaye of the University
of Wisconsin-Madison and a member of the Venus Express team."
Some of the reasons being advanced for the spot in Venus' atmosphere
include:
* Volcanic eruption. (This option is considered unlikely, since the
thick atmosphere would likely block most volcanic activity from being
visible to us.)
* Charged particles from solar interaction with Venus' atmosphere.
* Atmospheric turbulence concentrating bright material in a confined
area.
The other interesting point about the Venus bright spot is that it --
like the Jupiter "scar" -- was first noticed by an amateur astronomer.
The fact that astronomy is so accessible to a wide range of people is
interesting in terms of encouraging interest in the sciences.

There were bright spots noticed as of a decade ago. Even then as now
our NASA could care less. This time we also have to include ESA
(Venus express) that doesn't care to share any truths either. So much
for public funded science.

Russia Says Comet Strike On Venus Following Jupiter Hit Is “Dire
Warning’ For Earth

Russian Scientists reporting to Prime Minister Putin in the Kremlin
today are issuing what they call a “dire warning” for our Earth
following another meteorite strike upon one of the Planets in our
Solar System following the Planet Jupiter [photo 2nd left] being hit
this past fortnight on July 19th.
According to these reports, and which have been confirmed by Western
News Sources, our Solar Systems second Planet from the Sun, Venus
[first photo on left], was likewise struck by a comet/meteorite
causing a massive spot to form in its atmosphere exactly like the one
that has formed on Jupiter after it was similarly struck.
Interesting to note about the propaganda Western media reports on this
strike on Venus is their absurdly claiming that the massive damage
done to this Planet “could have” been done by a volcano, despite the
fact, and which they freely acknowledge, that “no firm evidence for
present-day volcanism” has ever been discovered on Venus.
Russian Scientists, however, are re-stating in their reports that the
cause of the Inner Planets of our Solar System being targeted by the
“rogue” objects originating from the Oort Cloud is due to “an “unusual
and growing” gravitational “influence” appearing to have been
generated from the extremely rare triple conjunction of Jupiter,
Neptune and Chiron which is “severely altering” the paths of space
debris”.
Even worse, contained in these reports, and in what can only be
described in the most catastrophic of terms, is the detailing of facts
relating to our Sun’s current “Century Class Event” that has seen our
Solar Systems “main engine” so disrupt the geomagnetic alignment of
Earth due to its lack of sunspots that “weather chaos” is threatening
our World’s very ability to feed itself.
From Argentina, one of the World’s major soybean exporters, which is
in a severe drought; to the severe droughts hitting China’s wheat
growing areas; to Texas where another devastating drought has caused
crop losses, so far, of $2.6 billion, and whose livestock producers
have lost another $974 million; to Europe which is suffering from
floods or droughts so severe that the US Foreign Agricultural Service
(FAS) recently released a grain production report slashing 5.5 million
tonnes (1.9 percent) off its previous estimate of two months ago for
the European Union; to Canada whose Western farm lands are suffering
their worst drought in decades; to India where their failed monsoon
season is threatening that Nations ability to feed itself, to
Australia where with the confirmation of a brand new “El Nino” weather
system threatens its ability to feed itself too; to all of these, and
more, the coming year will see our Planet driven to the very brink of
starvation for billions of human beings.
And if this were not frightening enough, a new Global Killer is
stalking our Planet, and as we can read:
“A destructive black stem rust known as Ug99 is spreading out of
Africa. Carried by the wind, Ug99 jumped the Red Sea, the Persian Gulf
and Saudi Arabia to land 700 miles away in western Iran.
Everywhere it goes, it damages up to 70 percent of the wheat crop and,
according to UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization, Ug99 has become
more destructive since it started to spread
The last time stem rust plagued North America was in the 1950s. It
ruined 42 percent of the North Dakota crop and smaller portions of the
rest of the U.S. crop.
On a global level, five of the countries now in Ug99’s path produce
about 160 million acres of wheat annually, or about 25 percent of the
world wheat crop. About 80 percent of the varieties available there
are based on the SR24 gene, which actually makes stem rust more
resistant!
According to a United Nations report, the fungus “recently invaded
Iran faster than predicted and could cause mass starvation if it hits
India before new resistant strains are ready.”
In the United States there are also new reports of another
catastrophic disease striking down their Nations ability to feed
itself too, and as we can read from this mid-July, 2009 report:
“A highly contagious fungus that destroys tomato plants has quickly
spread to nearly every state in the Northeast and the mid-Atlantic,
and the weather over the next week may determine whether the outbreak
abates or whether tomato crops are ruined, according to federal and
state agriculture officials.”
To all of these events, Russian Scientists are warning that our World
is on the “abyss” of experiencing massive food riots that will “dwarf
by an order of magnitude” those that occurred throughout the World
last year, and which reports from the United States show that their
government is prepared for following their just completed National
Level Exercise 2009 (NLE 09).
Most curious to note about this massive US emergency drill was that it
was overseen by French General Stephane Abrial who in a shocking move
was just appointed by NATO to take over from the Americans the
“defense” of their own Nation.
Even more ominously for the American people is that their Federal
Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is reporting that it has opened its
ninth, and final, Headquarters Facility in a secret location
“somewhere” near Kansas City, and which (coincidentally?) corresponds
with the number of US Military Regions the United States is reporting
they will deploy their soldiers to this October in order to “assist”
their civilian medical workers as hundreds of thousands of these
Americans are expected to die during the “second wave” of the swine
flu Pandemic currently sweeping the Globe.
Unfortunately for the American peoples is that though their government
and elite classes have long prepared for the coming of these
catastrophic events, both on Earth and from the Heavens, they are
being left to fend for themselves in what can only be described in
apocalyptic terms, and which the Asian Times News Service is warning,
will be nothing short of a modern Dark Ages.

Doesn't it seem logical that both "spots" would be caused by the same
thing?
Just wondering.
The black eye that Jupiter suffered this month has sparked a host of
questions for astronomers as well as for the rest of us: What exactly
hit the giant planet, and why didn't we see it coming? Why is
Jupiter's bruise expanding?

Multiple encounters of comets, meteors and asteroids will increase as
we get closer to the Sirius-B Oort cloud that only recently formed, as
well as after that massive star having gone red supergiant and then
most recently and suddenly into its helium flashover is what gave us
our Selene which also encountered Eden/Earth.

Thick ice is actually a damn good thermal insulator, as well as
providing one hell of a terrific physical shield against impacting
asteroids or even that of running into an icy Eden. Why the hell
wouldn’t an orb as having been released from Sirius-B of 7.35e22 kg or
that of an icy 8e22 kg not have any core heat?
Imagine a few terrific interconnected habitats of cavernous volumes
(say 1e7 m3 each) offering an exposed interior surface area of 1e5 m2
by an average ceiling of 100 meters high, as covered by a dome or
outer shell thickness of 100 km in solid ice. The mostly basalt crust
of Selene as providing the relatively warm surface that's so nicely
insulated by all of that surrounding ice would in of itself offer
those ETs enough geothermal energy to remain perfectly cozy for
generations of interstellar travel, not to mention their going inside
of that sucker for obtaining a little extra core heat or simply for
hard-rock mining those elements of Th232 and U238.
