Old Testament vs New Testament in Christianity ?

I know its a fringe group that was pushing this . A relation of mine who is
a priest told me about it .
Another interesting thing was that there were some in the Church of Greece
that wanted the sainthood of
Constantine discussed. I guess they thought someone as bloody as him should
not be a saint and there
was some question if he ever indeed did get baptized or die a pagan .
Just some talking points .
I guess in the Orthodox Church changes like these are out of the question .
But discussion was interesting .
Especially the 80:20 emphasis ratio regarding the NT and OT respectively .
Didn't Martin Luther think somewhat like this about the OT ?

They're on somewhat firmer ground questioning the formal sainthood of
Constantine than questioning the canonicity of the Old Testament
scriptures -- which were, after all, the scriptures known, studied and
quoted by the Lord Jesus Christ, the apostles and the fathers. I've
often wondered about Constantine myself, but tradition is tradition,
and the halo is still on the icon.

Hello,
Churches may (and often do) change Biblical things to meet their
fancy. But for the record, here is what Jesus thought of the OT. Joh
17:17,
"Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth." (NIV)
Hmmm, maybe Jesus knows something they don't.
