assured that there will be many out here that I will continue to
pray for the Lord to reward them according to their works.

for? I really don't think that there are that many people still
reading USENET. USENET has become a stinking sewer.

devils out. I invite any real honest hearts to check it out.

Bob Teixeira re-applies a sticker touting an alternative fuel he uses in his
car. He plans to fight to change fuel-tax laws that have hit his wallet.
Bob Teixeira decided it was time to take a stand against U.S. dependence on
foreign oil.
So last fall the Charlotte musician and guitar instructor spent $1,200 to
convert his 1981 diesel Mercedes to run on vegetable oil. He bought soybean
oil in 5-gallon jugs at Costco, spending about 30 percent more than diesel
would cost.
His reward, from a state that heavily promotes alternative fuels: a $1,000
fine last month for not paying motor fuel taxes.
He's been told to expect another $1,000 fine from the federal government.
And to legally use veggie oil, state officials told him, he would have to
first post a $2,500 bond.
Teixeira is one of a growing number of fuel-it-yourselfers -- backyard
brewers who recycle restaurant grease or make moonshine for their car tanks.
They do it to save money, reduce pollution or thumb their noses at oil
sheiks.
They're also caught in a web of little-known state laws that can stifle
energy independence.
State Sen. Stan Bingham, R-Davidson, is known around Raleigh for his diesel
Volkswagen fueled by used soybean oil. The car sports a "Goodbye, OPEC"
sign.
"If somebody was going to go to this much trouble to drive around in a car
that uses soybean oil, they ought to be exempt" from state taxes, he said.
The N.C. Department of Revenue, which fined Teixeira, has asked legislators
to waive the $2,500 bond for small fuel users. The department also told
Teixeira, after the Observer asked about his case this week, that it will
compromise on his fine.
But officials say they'll keep pursuing taxes on all fuels used in highway
vehicles. With its 29.9-cent a gallon gas tax, the state collects $1.2
billion each year to pay for road construction.
"With the high cost of fuel right now, the department does recognize that a
lot of people are looking for relief," said Reggie Little, assistant
director of the motor fuel taxes division. "We're not here to hurt the small
guy, we're just trying to make sure that the playing field is level."

I go visit that little bunker of isolationism Steve Winter created for
himself from time to time and note how few of its members actually
participate (and even then it's more of how much they can kiss up to
Steve) and how many members were "excommunicated" from its ranks. The
stats are there for anyone to see. It's not surprising that Steve
Winter wants to be a loved and respected cult leader like Jim Jones or
Sun Yung Moon. The only problem is that Steve Winter has no charisma
and such an abrasive personality that even those who agree with him
theologically cannot stand to be associated with him.

He will be back as what he has now is the same as he always had, and
people just stopped going there, so he came to these newsgroups to get
his name known and hope to get people to his website. He never let
anyone stay that disagreed with him at Prime. I see nothing has
changed, when he can not get attention there he will come back and
start up his evil ways here again. His ego will not let him stay
away, he needs such attention, for or against really doesn't matter as
long as someone is playing attention to him. He been a SysOp of his
own Prime Net all this time, he violated Fido Net rules and made a big
problem then also, as they kicked him out, he got made at me because
as a SysOp for a short time till I got to know his kind of messages,
he kicked me out like Fido net did to him. I was still in Fido net
and with the Christian network that he wanted into, I was the SysOp
that was responsible for the Sysops of the HK Christian network, and
when he dumped me, the other SysOps that knew me, called and wanted to
cut all links with Prime Net as he also insulted them at their website
by his links to them. I told him to stop his toilet tongued messages
and he want off the deep end, so the HK network cut him off. He goes
against his own bylaws and rules as he is above them as he thinks he
is above all here and if we do not bend the knee to him, he goes in to
attack mode, only here others went into attack mode also, and he left
us here for now. I sure if all I have seen in the past with others
he will be back and we can just be glad he is out of the picture for
now.

True. Looking at the stats on Winter's little internet bunker shows
that only two people are really active and that's "Brother" Hood with
about 14.5 hours total and "Brother" Steve Winter with about 8.5
hours. Everyone else listed is about 1.5 hours and below. So it's
basically a two-person show. The latest post has Steve calling another
"false Christian scum" and telling them to no longer post so that
person's account's been or going to be deleted. Same old same old.
Let's enjoy Steve Winter's absence while we all can and put up with
"Steve Winter lite" better known as the fake-reverend BR Collins.

off. Steve tries to keep this info from getting out but there are
methods of discovery. It's become apparent that he or one of his
