This is a unique teaching that Jehovah's Witnesses and their
predecessors already taught which was their distinctive doctrine
about
the end of the world . Most people think about literal destruction of
the world by some type of calamity .
Many are expecting something like that will happen this December
2012 AD .
The Bible teaches about a different end of the world . Those who have
a spiritual insight into the Bible should or know that .
There will be the end to this present world order .

When Jerusalem was being destroyed with the temple in 70 AD that was
the end of the world for the Jews !

And that is like a metaphorical expression .There was not literal end
of the world at that time of course .

There are huge chances if the end of the present world order is to
take place soon that this year 2012 AD could be that year when it
will
happen .

If you see this very short website :
http://www.focusonthebible2011.com
and it is very easy to examine you can get this sense we may be very
near the end .

If the end comes the way the Bible predicts those who are saved now
and go safely through by God's power to the next level of life this
will be a continuation of the present life on earth but in a
perfected
form .

Who would not want to continue their lives but in more perfected
form
under heavenly conditions ?

Sure I would like myself to be one of the most handsome young man
forever and have one of the most beautiful always young woman as a
wife - and only God Yahweh can make it happen - Psalm 128 .
When someone is a child of God and knows what the future Paradise
will
be his vision of that Paradise make him energized to the very high
level .
There is no stopping to his energy, hope and joy already strong in
this present life .
There is no better occupation on this earth like to be occupied with
thinking about God of the Bible and about what lies ahead .
No money can give you the everlasting happiness the way I see it and
only God Yahweh can make you happy !

And it was a load of crap.

Mt 24:35 Heaven and earth SHALL pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Only ignorant fools.

No, it doesn't.

Yes, for a thousand years...

...and then cometh the end.

No, that was the second of three iterations of the same prophecy.

First iteration, temple destroyed by Nebudchadnezzar in 587 BC.

Second iteration, temple destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD.

Third iteration, ?

And it hasn't been rebuilt yet, which means that we are always at least
70 years from the End of the Age, and it will remain that way until it is.

So much for your "grand" false calculations.

> And that is like a metaphorical expression .

No, it was, is, and will be quite literal.

So much for your cult revisions.

[snip the rest of the satanic cult drivel designed to throw the real
believers off course]

God's Word proves such absolutely wrong. It is all man's conjecture
without the Word of God for any foundation.

I do to point out your 70 years idea is also not proven anywhere.

People get so caught up "watching" for the end that they ignore that
Lord Jesus was not referring to watching for the end but watching
ourselves so that no matter when it comes (or if we fall asleep before
it comes) we will be found pleasing in His sight and be able to stand in
that day.

Luke 21:33-36 (KJV)
Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
[34] And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be
overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life,
and so that day come upon you unawares. [35] For as a snare shall it
come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. [36] Watch
ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape
all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of
man.

Just as He also said,
Matthew 5:17-20 (KJV)
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am
not come to destroy, but to fulfil. [18] For verily I say unto you, Till
heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from
the law, till all be fulfilled. [19] Whosoever therefore shall break one
of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called
the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach
them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. [20] For
I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the
righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter
into the kingdom of heaven.

What an idiot.

Yo.

Moron.

The FIRST temple was destroyed in 587 BC, as originally prophesied.

The SECOND temple was destroyed in 70 AD, in a RE-ITERATION of those
prophecies.

And yet John RE-USES those prophecies in a new, THIRD context.

Get it yet?

> It is all man's conjecture
> without the Word of God for any foundation.

Ah, no, that would be your bullshit.

When Jesus Himself handled prophecy, He did it TRIUNELY.

> I do to point out your 70 years idea is also not proven anywhere.

The hell it isn't.

There are seven Old Testament prophecies that speak of prophetic events
in terms of 70 YEARS.

John utilizes ALL SEVEN of those 70 year prophecies in Revelation.

And there isn't ONE that teaches this "missing week" bullshit.
