St. Michael is still the patron saint of Kyiv. Last year, during the "Day
of Kyiv" festival in May, Kyiv was rededicated to Michael with the
unveiling of a statue on Independence Square. The old hammer & sickle
seals on all the buildings are being covered over by the new seal of Kyiv:
St. Michael with his sword & date branch.
Praise the Lord! P.S. The monastery of St. Michael has a wonderful choir
and tapes are available there.

If you are using the "new calendar" change the date to the 21st
