Note from Galina: I've been writing on the sad state of trafficking
in women, especially in minority and majority Orthodox countries
emerging from communism, extreme forms of socialism and dictatorship.
I've been suggesting that not having a program specifically addressing
how women can survive in emerging, minimal and failed economies and
having resources for alternatives to exploitation complicates their
ability to retain Orthodox lifestyles and for these partly Orthodox
societies to retain a sense of an Orthodox pronoma. With very few
exceptions, there has been little help for women in the circumstances
in which they find themselves, especially when women are supporting
children by themselves. So I am forwarding a few things on the
Ukraine that you probably won't see in the sound-bite media

It is so disgusting that this sort of thing goes on in this day
