Only as long as people who are professing Christ are not committing adultery
and fornication either openly or secretly with each other, and keep
agitating and pushing for immoral rights, and persist in applying to be
leaders and Bishops of the flocks.

"2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant,
sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; 3 Not given to
wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler,
not covetous; 4 One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in
subjection with all gravity; 5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own
house, how shall he take care of the church of God?) 6 Not a novice, lest
being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil. 7
Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall
into reproach and the snare of the devil." 1 Tim 3:2-7 (KJV)

Which rules out homosexuals......especially those who are fornicating and
abusing one another, even in private, for God can still see their acts of
abomination.

Ask yourself this: Who will they be answerable to? They take
responsibility upon themselves when they excercise private conscience, so if
they are wrong they will be answerable to God.

Teaching must be presented as received. Then people who follow that
teaching in sincerity will not be culpable if it is wrong, they will have
been faithful. But if people disagree with that teaching, even in private,
then if they *are* wrong, they will be culpable before God. That is the
'downside' of private conscience - they are in effect saying, "I think the
teaching is wrong, I opt to let God alone be the judge". It is a huge risk
on their part, but I would defend their right to opt to take that risk.

Below you can find another example of a poster giving witness for who he
is, and for the lack of his parents' educating him (if they tried at
all):

Then thank God for that....{;o;}
"9 Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do
not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers
nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders 10 nor thieves nor the greedy
nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
11 And that is what some of you were."
1 Cor 6:9-11 (ANIV)

Yes! they were, but they had changed on coming to Christ.....but sadly
today.....many still remain the same.
Sexually immoral, adulterers, male prostitutes and homosexual offenders!
