Rock In The Storm

Christ is the Rock in the storm.
When that storm comes,
everything except the Rock
will begin to swirl like an ocean of water,
everything people try to stand on,
but there will be no standing,
only sinking,
unless you are on the Rock.
When that storm came on me,
as one going thru it ahead of time,
everything that people suppose is solid,
became like vast surrounding, swirling water,
everything that is except Christ the Rock,
and he alone was the standing.
When the storm comes on people going into eternity
who have not trusted in Christ alone for salvation,
all their supposed "righteousness" and "wisdom"
will be as water on which they cannot stand,
and so they have nothing to stand on.
But all those whose trust is on Christ alone for salvation,
are regarded by Christ as though his own righteousness
is theirs, and thus his victory, and so they have eternal life.
