Ever wonder why Satan hates the Bible so much? Why do his imps fuss
and fume and foam at the mouth in their denial of its authority and
power?

Whoever knows Jesus knows why. But some others may not know.

Well, just stop and consider the powerful words of God in Scripture.
Think of all the promises of God, the clear direction, the countless
helps and eternal wisdom found in the pages of Scripture.

Below I list a very few of the wonderful portions of Scripture that
Satan really hates. I'm sure that anyone who follows Jesus can add
lots more. In fact, when we get through adding all the places in
Scripture that the devil hates, we will have the whole Bible.

A few of the reasons that Satan hates the Bible.
God's Word includes the following passages:

Powerful revelation of the true God in the Law of Moses---

"Therefore know this day, and consider it in your heart, that the LORD
Himself is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no
other. (Deuteronomy 4:39)

Powerful grace revealed while still under the Law of Moses---

"When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to
devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, if My people who
are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My
face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven,
and will forgive their sin and heal their land." (2 Chronicles 7:14)

Then there is Psalm 23---

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul;
He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
My cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
All the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.

and the beautiful promises of Psalm 91---

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the LORD,
"He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust."
Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler
And from the perilous pestilence.
He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.
Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge,
Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.
In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.
"Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.
With long life I will satisfy him,
And show him My salvation."

The wisdom of the Proverbs---

Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths. (Prov 3:5,6)

Do not enter the path of the wicked,
and do not walk in the way of evildoers.
Avoid it; do not go on it;
turn away from it and pass on.
For they cannot sleep
unless they have done wrong;
they are robbed of sleep
unless they have made someone stumble.
For they eat the bread of wickedness
and drink the wine of violence. (Prov 4:14-17)

But the path of the righteous
is like the light of dawn,
which shines brighter and brighter
until full day.
The way of the wicked
is like deep darkness;
they do not know what they stumble over. (Prov 4:18,19)

I passed by the field of one who was lazy,
by the vineyard of a stupid person;
and see, it was all overgrown with thorns;
the ground was covered with nettles,
and its stone wall was broken down.
Then I saw and considered it;
I looked and received instruction.
A little sleep, a little slumber,
and poverty will come upon you like a robber,
and want, like an armed warrior. (Prov 24:30-34)

When one will not listen to the law,
even one's prayers are an abomination.
Those who mislead the upright into evil ways
will fall into pits of their own making,
but the blameless will have a goodly inheritance. (Prov 28:9,10)

God's truth as spoken thru Isaiah the prophet---

Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean;
Put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes.
Cease to do evil,
Learn to do good;
Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor;
Defend the fatherless, Plead for the widow.
Come now, and let us reason together,
Says the LORD,
Though your sins are like scarlet,
They shall be as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They shall be as wool. (Is 1:16-18)

For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called Wonderful,
Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father,
Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of His government
and peace There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David
and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it
with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this. (Is 9:6,7)

Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the LORD,
The Creator of the ends of the earth,
Neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable.
He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might
He increases strength.
Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
But those who wait on the LORD
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint. (Is 40:28-31)

Tell and bring forth your case;
Yes, let them take counsel together.
Who has declared this from ancient time?
Who has told it from that time?
Have not I, the LORD?
And there is no other God besides Me,
A just God and a Savior;
There is none besides Me.
Look to Me, and be saved,
All you ends of the earth!
For I am God, and there is no other. (Is 45:21,22)

The eternal words of Jesus---

Then He opened His mouth and taught them,
saying:
"Blessed are the poor in spirit,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn,
For they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek,
For they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
For they shall be filled.
Blessed are the merciful,
For they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart,
For they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
For they shall be called sons of God.
Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you,
and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake.
Rejoice and be exceedingly glad,
for great is your reward in heaven,
for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. (Matt 5:2-12)

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying,
"I am the light of the world.
He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness,
but have the light of life." (Jn 8:12)

Then Jesus cried out and said,
He who believes in Me,
believes not in Me but in Him who sent Me.
And he who sees Me sees Him who sent Me.
I have come as a light into the world,
that whoever believes in Me should not abide in darkness.
And if anyone hears My words and does not believe,
I do not judge him;
for I did not come to judge the world
but to save the world.
He who rejects Me,
and does not receive My words,
has that which judges him --
the word that I have spoken will judge him in the last day.
For I have not spoken on My own authority;
but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command,
what I should say and what I should speak.
And I know that His command is everlasting life.
Therefore, whatever I speak,
just as the Father has told Me,
so I speak." (Jn 12:44-50)

Let not your heart be troubled;
you believe in God,
believe also in Me.
In My Father's house there is plenty of room to live;
if it were not so, I would have told you.
I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you,
I will come again and receive you to Myself;
that where I am,
there you may be also. (Jn 14:1-3)

Jesus said to him,
I am the way, the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through Me.
If you had known Me,
you would have known My Father also;
and from now on you know Him and have seen Him. (Jn 14:6,7)

The promise of Jesus' Return---

And he said to me,
Do not seal the words
of the prophecy of this book,
for the time is at hand.
He who is unjust, let him be unjust still;
he who is filthy, let him be filthy still;
he who is righteous, let him be righteous still;
he who is holy, let him be holy still."
And behold, I am coming quickly,
and My reward is with Me,
to give to every one according to his work.
I am the Alpha and the Omega,
the Beginning and the End,
the First and the Last.
Blessed are those who do His commandments,
that they may have the right to the tree of life,
and may enter through the gates into the city.
But outside are dogs
and sorcerers
and sexually immoral
and murderers and idolaters,
and whoever loves and practices a lie.
I, Jesus, have sent My angel
to testify to you these things in the churches.
I am the Root and the Offspring of David,
the Bright and Morning Star." (Rev 22:10-16)
-------------------------

As men and women who know and love the Lord Jesus Christ, we have a
great heritage in the Bible. There is a wealth of truth and wisdom
there that nothing on this earth can even approach, much less compare
to.

But it's not enough to speak well of Scripture. To get what we need,
let's spend time alone each day with the Lord Jesus, and allow Him to
speak to our lives by His Spirit, by His Word. Grow in faith and in
the knowledge of God's love and grace toward you.
