Here now is the reply of Steve Quist as we have seen before what
happens when we even quote CATHOLIC sources to prove what we say:

Remember folks that we even quoted the encyclical letter of 1854 where
the POPE told us that liberty of conscience is the worst pest to
society. These here fell short of calling him an idiot also, but just
tip-toed completely around the point.
So now we have to ask ourselves if what Lucius Ferraris said here is
true of Vatican belief.
The way we find out is to see for ourselves if there is any of the Ten
Commandments that Rome tampered with. With one look we see that most
of the Christian world is keeping Sunday. The Vatican has boldly
claimed that she changed it from Saturday to Sunday.
What next? Steve must tell us that even this proves nothing, and
Lucius Ferraris is still an idiot.
That's the way it was with the 666 numerical value of a name. Is there
history to backup ALL the identying marks of the Antichrist? Many
names add up to 666! Again, the issue of the Ustashis as the strange
ones here were trying to even convince us that there were no such
people as the murderous Ustashis, and that pictures showing what they
did were faked. Does history show more than a million Serbs just
mysteriously disappearing off of the face of existence?
Folks,
YOU ARE DEALING WITH THE SAME ROME!

As to the quote that is here. In essence, what Ferraris said is
correct,
although, IMO, it's a little overboard in its language. Still it
was written
in the 1700's when linguistic styles were different.

One of the first fruits of liberty of conscience is abortion. Do

FOLKS, YOU ARE DEALING WITH SAME TINFOIL TED!
He claims, with little or no justification, that the number 666
has something to do with the Pope!
Again with no justification, he is still trying to say the
Ustashis are agents of the Vatican! I understand the
Ustashis committed horrors in WWII, but that does not
make them agents of the Vatican!
It's all in tinfoil Ted's head. He needs help, pray for him.
Steve
I must have left out the fact that the majority of the Christian world
now keeps Sunday, and this substantiates the fact that Rome claims the
ability to be able to modify and even expunge moral law. The Second
Commandment is also proof of this. The book "Rome's Challenge" put out
by our denomination with statements from James Cardinal Gibbons from
the Catholic Mirror also claims that Rome has the ability to modify and
change moral law.
Of course you outwardly think that I am deliberately misrepresenting
Ferraris' quote. All of you say that you think the same about every
quote I submitted, and then later substantiated that it was true. Your
historical track record is just the same.
Why then do you keep Sunday? Want to find the many quotes where Rome
tells us that she, with the power given her from Christ has changed the
day without a word of remonstrance from the Protestant world?

There he goes about context and just makes his despot one-liners.
Where is it in the bible that the Sabbath of the Ten Commandments was
changed? In Matthew 5:17-19 where Christ tells us that one jot or one
tittle shall in no wise pass from the law till all be fulfilled?

Christ said He has saved all that are His except the Son of Perdition.
The one who needs prayer the most, is the one who would decree it upon
others.

Why? Because Jesus gave the power of binding and loosing to
the Church and, during the Apostolic Age, the Church saw fit to
honor the Resurrection of Our Lord, by keeping Sabbath on Sunday.
Nearly all main line Protestants agree that that was a proper
thing to do.

Just what do you mean by "despot one-liners". It is not
normal English, and I am having trouble making sense
of it.
Remember the words of the Bible:
Mark 2:27: Then he said to them, "The Sabbath was made for man,
not man for the Sabbath.
and Matthew 12:8 "For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath."
If Jesus and His disciples could cure the sick, pick grain,
make mud and do all sorts of things on the Sabbath that
seemingly violated the Decalogue, then the Church, as
the Body of Christ here on earth has the authority to decree
when Sabbath shall be celebrated. I said "when", not "if",
for it is still true that we must keep it holy.

Ferraris said a lot of things. The quote you posted was
rather general. If you want to talk about the Sabbath in
particular, let's talk about it. No need to drag Ferraris or
anybody else into the discussion. We Catholics hold
the Church had and has the authority to decree we set
aside Sunday for the worship of Our Lord.

Off the point in connection with Lucius Ferraris. I was told that
Lucius Ferraris was also an idiot for saying something that Rome does
not teach. Now Steve Quist, just like the others, now posts in
positions in agreement with Lucius Ferraris. Changing the Sabbath from
Saturday to Sunday is exactly what Lucius Ferraris claimed that Rome
had the power to do.
Going back to the point. The question was how can the church do that
WHEN HER MASTER told us that till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one
tittle shall not pass from the law????

You are either smart or dumb. In my experience with people like you,
you make final statements above all evidence, and then, when eager to

as if you want to learn something. Choose therefore which one you are

AGAIN:
What about Christ looking into the future and telling us that till
heaven and earth pass ONE JOT OR ONE TITTLE shall not pass from the
law??
I quoted where Ferraris claimed as official documentation that Rome has
the power to modify or alter and even extinguish divine law. Steve is
here to also prove that next to his despot statements, even Catholic
statements are no good in his End Justifies the Means!
I wrote:

Is Mr. Quist trying to tell us that Christ is contradicting Himself?
Is he trying to add other verbage in order to tire the readers off of
the point? Christ in that statement said that He was come to fulfill
the law. IN THAT SAME STATEMENT (Matt. 5:17-19) He tells us that till
heaven and earth pass (and there is scripture to tell you how
cataclysmically the heavens and the earth will pass 2 Pet. 3:10) ONE
JOT OR ONE TITTLE SHALL IN NO WISE PASS FROM THE LAW TILL ALL BE
FULFILLED!
Were these words therefore given to impress upon the people that the
law will end in just a year or so when Christ died? Did Christ mean
that He did not come to destroy the law, but that he came to declare
that it is no longer to be observed?
You all need tinfoil hats for salvation! There is no Christianity
without it!

But this person can expound SCRIPTURE so well! He gets involved with
it and makes the most despot statements often without the necessity of
proving real and straight-forward proof, but has a problem with
understanding normal English.

I feel better to know that truth abounds. What are these idling dumbs
questions afte the most earth-shattering despot statements were
pedalled as if we all must bow to them in favor of the Vatican? You
all even know that the evidence and photographs documenting your
demonic mass-murderers the Ustashis were faked! If you can know that,
you can breathe breath into the nostrils of clay and have it talk to
you. Quite different from the pretensive dunceness now witnessed!

The question was to reference THE STATEMENT OF THE MASTER: CHRIST...
Remember? AS TO HOW "THE CHURCH" CAN CLAIM THE RIGHT TO USE THE POWER
CHRIST SUPPOSEDLY GAVE HER TO BIND AND LOOSE IN ORDER TO CHANGE THE
MORAL LAW WHEN CHRIST SPECIFICALLY TOLD US THROUGH HIS ABILITY TO SEE
THE FUTURE THAT NOT ONE JOT NOR TITTLE OF THE LAW WILL BE REMOVED TILL
THE VERY END OF TIME!
Even the statement about Christ fulfilling the law by Steve Quist is
deceptive, for he was trying to tell us that it is no more valid after
his Pope already wrote Dies Domini in support of Sunday observance
based upon the 10 Commandments, and the Catholic Church supports the 10
commandments as tampered with by them.

Answering a question with a question. My question was not answered,
and neither is there biblical evidence for basing a day because Christ
rose on it. We seek for prophetic permission to accept something like
that. Even after the death of Christ, Jewish literature themselves can
document scuffles with the new Christian Church over circumcision, but
not with regards to a new day of worship until some centuries after.
Mr. Quist and the rest know this!
Mr. Quist:
Someone already asked what business this wonderful "Church" had making
a Concordat with the Nazi Regime, and, knowing full well that you go by
the end justifies the means, told us that it is something natural to do
to make agreements with your enemies.
Did this cult do the same things with the Devil? Are the Christians
Churches supposed to make an agreement with the Devil?
Well your church did when it made that Concordat with the Hitler.
> Thanks, Tinfoil, your quote, without the shouting: "one jot or
> one
> tittle shall in no wise pass from the law till all be fulfilled."
>
Till all WHAT be fulfilled end justifies the means man?
What does heaven and earth passing have to do with the statement and
why would Christ make such a statement only to secure a binding rule
till His death in just about a year or so? Was Christ talking for the
Christian world? Or was he just making a statement into the air.

I have asked you and the other despots to stop playing smart and dumb.
Ask me no questions. Remember, YOU PEOPLE are the ones who claim to
have the power to destroy us for disagreeing with your religion and how
liberty is something bad. You are the ones claiming the prerogatives
of God. Please therefore stop asking questions from tinfoil heads in
your ancient Christianity.

In Matthew 24, Christ made alot of prophecies that were not fulfilled,
including the one about heaven and earth passing and the end of the
world. It was just that statement that Christ used also when he told
us that "till heaven and earth pass" one jot or one tittle shall not
pass from the law. Mr. Quist knows this folks! Besides, he knows well
that Rome respects the Ten Commandments, so this just proves that he is
unscrupulous and is merely trying to deceive us or to do anything to
obscure or destroy the truth.

You are not privileged enough to wear a tinfoil hat, neither for your
despot claims that you are the true church and that we must submit to
your decrees. Wait all you want. Either answer the points or get out
of the discussion. People here want answers and no side-winding.

Then you can answer the question if you are still despot enough to know
that I have not provided proof that they were Catholics after they
demanded that the Serbs convert to Catholicism and after these Ustashis
posting here had so much reverential respect for them to even declare
that photographic evidence against them can be faked.

Curing the sick was not a violation of the Sabbath. Christ NEVER
violated the Sabbath. The scriptures told us that He did not sin in
His entire life as an example for man. Changing the day is
not "seemingly violating" the Sabbath command: IT IS PLAINLY VIOLATING
IT, for Christ already told us that not a jot or tittle shall pass till
heaven and earth pass.

Christianity is for Christians and not for unscrupulous people who
would even count it natural for a church to sign a Concordat with the
Nazis and would yell out or voice out anything to excuse the
inexcuseable that would never be tolerated if the Adventist Church did
the same thing.

Every question and point that you evade will be brought back to you

The only thing the lost little pagan leader of Romanism
can change is his mind.
But then, only as directed by his god, the true head
of Roman Catholicism, Satan.
1 Corinthians 2:15

#### "Rome", and the Christians of the East, kept the Sunday instead of
or as well as the Jewish Sabbath, long before there were any
Protestants to "remonstrate".

#### It won't. But, if the Sabbath must be kept - why should not
Christians have more than one wife? Nowhere does the New Testament
explicitly forbid marrying more than one wife. Why should not
Christians keep slaves, execute disobedient children, be required to
keep the food laws of the Pentateuch? Few things are explicitly
required of the Jews at Sinai that were then declared non-binding in
the New Testament. Why insist on the Sabbath - while allowing the
eating of (say) pork?

#### In and by Christ, all was fulfilled - "Christ is the End of the
Law" - that is - it ends with Him, because He is its Purpose. The Greek
means both "conclusion", and "purpose".

Sooo....Acts 10, and Acts 15, and Galatians, count for nothing? The
Letter remains, but the obligations of most laws do not. They are
summed up in the Two Great Commandments.
