No, it's not the Fourth Reich that I'm waiting for, but rather the
example Germany displays in QUALITY OF LIFE and BICYCLING, something
that concerns me the most. The other two models --sadly most
prevalent-- are America and China, which dominate the Globalization, a
concept that divides people in WINNERS & LOSERS, in which cyclists and
pedestrians are mere accidents in the design. Success is measured in
SUVs and Gated Communities.

Anyway this is a pretty video of Berlin:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tuJHyXXTZMQ

The German people should be particularly proud to have placed
themselves at the top of the world in a few decades, perhaps because
they have taken democracy seriously. I think even the AUSTERITY they
promote should be welcomed, which should put an end to "dumping money
down the drain" into road maintenance and landscaping, so prevalent
around my community. We need more bike facilities, not more grass.

But that's only my humble opinion.

Only because I don't play the game. But this game has no real winners.
In the end China and America will either fight over resources or the
extra pollution will tip the balance toward climate change much
sooner. Expect gas prices to keep spiraling up as China gets hungrier.
Those are the good news.

Sorry, but wisdom doesn't come in cookies. Reality sinks in as the
Wisdom of the Jungle prevails.

Those are the only two options?

Innovation is often a reality.

There may not be any
"fight over resources" nor any
"extra pollution" nor
"climate change much sooner" after
the asteriod slams into Earth.

And that's the good news.
Before any of those events occur
there might be something else,
something far worse.

Or, none of those things may happen.
New resources may be invented, discovered,
or handed to Earthlings by the Ancient Astronauts.
Climate change might not occur as the mini-ice age
rounds the solar portals of your magnetosphere.

After your planet is consumed by the Giant
Plasma Ball as your Sun expands to engulf Earth,
your worries will be over. But wait! There's more!

Long before that happens
you will have ceased to exist in bodily form
many, many, great many millions of years;
having turned back into the dust
out of which you were animated at first
by Life itself as it took shape, as you.

Your nation-state of mind, concerned
such as it is with arbitrary lines drawn in vain,
will have ceased its prattle in flavour of m'ore
being in terms of Being, as you shall be.

This Being of your being will be resting in peace
in a vast ocean of Nonbeing, similar to how stars
shine froth in the emptiness of distances between
all things, taken for granted, as given.

What is pollution for you
might be fertilizer for your offspring,
all those trillions of bacteria living off you
springing into colonies of Life upon your body.

Why deprive them?

What you concern yourself with, as countries,
corner you brain with lines and limitations,
when in reality they exist only in your mind.

Looking at Earth from space,
Ancient Astronauts do not see countries.
Nor do they worry about pollution. Bikes are toys
for boys, and girls, to ride around on. Fun
instruments to play with.

It sounds, however, is if yours rides you
into a blind alley of thought. The bars bind you
behind handles grabbing you by your fears.

Do you ever go with no hands?

Most people is waiting for miracles, but that's not what the Wisdom of
the Jungle is all about. It takes PREVENTION and COMMON SENSE to
guarantee success.

What asteroid? Last one was seen 65 million years ago.

Ancient Astronauts mixed with the Neanderthals and gave rise to modern
humans. I think I heard that before.
Wrong. Bikes are tools to explore your community and meet people. You
come out of the cage and smile as you feel the gentle breeze and the
warm sun rays.

I think you agree the Earth is spaceship on automatic pilot and that's
likely to cause a catastrophe. Use you navigational instruments and
steer clear of asteroids.

Europe must get rid of corruption and waste or go down. The people
doesn't need to be sacrificed in the process. Europe doesn't need to
compete with China or America in a race to the bottom. QUALITY OF LIFE
could be saved. I'm talking about healthcare for all, for example.

People must also realize that going on a diet is not necessarily bad.
That's walking a fine line between the good life and entitlements that
go with corruption.

That was an episode in history. The German people prove that the
jungle makes the monkey, not the monkey makes the jungle. It was the
gorilla who drove Germans into a frenzy, but they are wary of alpha
males nowadays. Not so Americans...

http://2media.nowpublic.net/images//63/6e/636e965549bc63d0acb5d00edc58d47a.jpg

Human psychology is that most people ignore evil until it affects
them. I've been chatting with this old Jewish lady --educated and
nice-- and she fails to see the evil in denying space to pedestrians
and cyclists. I can only go so far and then she goes back to,
"probably they ignore it," or "too few cyclists to make a change," or
"everyone wants to live in America." That's the old patriotic line.
America is #1 no matter what.

But we can be sure that injustice doesn't stop at denying space to
cyclists. I'd say denying universal healthcare is the big one. And
it's closely to related to cycling and walking since these fall under
the category of prevention.

Roaming free and healthcare are basic human rights. Period.

"The Jews killed Jesus!"

Well, we probably know that's a joke, a cruel joke that is. The story
is so flimsy that a kid would have trouble believing it. It sounds
like a CRUCIFICTION to me. Nevertheless they had real Christians being
fed to the lions by the cruel Romans. But oh well, the Christians have
someone who sacrificed for them so they can go around doing whatever
they want, particularly pushing around cyclists...

But the Jews don't believe in that story and have being sacrificed in
recent history, so there's no question about it. Real Jews --millions
of them-- were sacrificed and tortured. No denial is possible. But
also you must realize that the Germans deny KNOWLEDGE of the worst
atrocities, so we must give them the benefit of the doubt. See, they
were BRAINWASHED by a powerful PROPAGANDA MACHINE that left few
choices. You wouldn't expect the average German to risk their skin for
Jews being put to death a long way off. A few heroes did, but it goes
against the survival instinct.

The American people though --enjoying a democracy-- can not deny
knowledge of the real motives for the war in Iraq. The American people
are CONSUMERS and they know Iraq has plenty of oil. No moral judgement
is necessary. The Romans would have done the same. But in the time of
the Romans, you could ride a donkey in peace while now you can't ride
a humble bike.

Is Jesus coming back soon to save us?

Jesus was a heck of a guy...

http://www.funnychurchsigns.org/funny-church-signs.jpg

But most people interpret him wrong. It's not going to church or even
launching war in the Middle East that you make him happy. You make him
happy by riding a donkey. The bicycle is just a substitute for the
real thing since we have no grass readily available in the urban
jungle. But that's only my humble opinion.

In a way he was like Quixote and Rocinante. Riding a bike is equally
Quixotic.

The Jews thought he was a fake, and not observant of the Kosher laws.
He may have even eaten pork and see what he said:

"It is not what enters into the mouth that defiles the man, but what
proceeds out of the mouth, this defiles the man."

Read more: http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Did_jesus_eat_pork#ixzz1urSyTGWI

So the Jews are totally innocent in killing a Jew who eats pork. But I
think Jesus was trying to tease them with those words above, so he had
it coming.

80% of Americans are religious so the bad evil drivers are likely to
be religious. You may further argue that idiocy and religion are
closely related. RIDING TO SAVE THE PLANET is a very rational argument
likely to be ignored by the religious mind. Only Jesus can. ;)

Cyclists mostly fall in the 20%. We find that praying doesn't work
unless better law enforcement and better bike facilities are put in
place.

The idiots will always hate the smarter people. But they would unleash
international condemnation by openly hating and killing cyclists.

I don't think nothing could be more evil than hating the very people
doing "revolutions for the planet."

I'm talking about this:

That's the bike I'm riding today.
