WHY DON'T MORE WOMEN ATTAIN ENLIGHTENMENT

By Dr. Frederick Lenz

The history of women has been one of repression, degradation, bondage,
torture and misery. Never in the history of humankind has one racial,
ethnic or religious group been persecuted with less feeling and for
such an enduring length of time as have been the women of this world.
With minor exceptions of several small civilizations, women have been
culturally, economically, religiously, politically and educationally
repressed since the dawn of recorded history. They have suffered to
have their identities destroyed, their sistership splintered, their
spirituality denied and then have been placed into endless slavery to
the men of the world.

The repression of women, which might at first glance seem chaotic and
spontaneous, has been systematic and effective. This repression has
been in effort for so long and to such an extent that the women and
men of our world no longer even question its basic premises. While
noteworthy achievements in the political, social and educational
status of women have occurred in the last few years, these changes are
only conciliatory embellishment - given on demand and not out of love
-- to sooth the women of today into believing that their status has
really changed.

Sexual Slavery

The image of a woman is that of a sexual slave. Sexual slavery may
sound kinky and interesting from a distance, but in actuality it is
quite grotesque.

What is sexual slavery? When your primary purpose in life is to
produce sexual pleasure for someone else. Sexual slavery is convenient
sex. For a man, it means that instead of having to go a look for
sexual satisfaction, he keeps someone at home who will at least
satisfy his spontaneous urges. Sexual means that a woman is cajoled
into believing that her opinions are valued, her integrity is admired
and that she is special beyond all others, when in fact she is
actually viewed as a useful commodity for sexual pleasure, producing
and caring for children, maintaining a household, for image sake when
a man has a business or political career that necessitates a female
partner in the role of "wife."

Very few women are really aware of how men actually feel about them.
It seems that women want so much to believe that they are loved and
needed that they will overlook how most men really feel about them,
they will accept mental, emotional and physical abuse, and, at least
in their younger years, follow the primrose path to what they have
been told will lead them to happiness.

I have no doubt that there are wonderful men in the world who are
genuinely concerned with the welfare of the women that they love. I
also know that the consciousness of most men regarding women is so low
and out of focus that what the consider love is nothing other than
sexual repression.

Sexual slavery is domination. Whether the tactics are psychological,
physical, social or political the end result is the same. The"barefoot
and pregnant" philosophy is alive and well in the world. It simply
changes its colors, but not its intent, to suit the mood of the Modern
woman.

Most men view women as convenience items, someone to us as long as
they are useful and to dispose of when necessary. But it is necessary
that a very slick mentality accomplishes this. Women have been held in
check by men for thousands of years, the mentality that has
accomplished this is cold, calculating and successful.

Sexual slavery is the ability to push the right buttons to receive the
desired response when the individual who is being manipulated is
either unaware that they are being manipulated or they are aware, but
are unable to defend themselves. It is unrealistic to think that most
women really enjoy being treated as objects of sexual convenience, but
most women put up with it. Men manage to perpetuate sexual slavery by
making it seem that there is no other alternative, and by using social
pressure, guilt, rejection and other controlling mechanisms when a
woman tries to buck the system.

Sex Accusations

In 1987 accusations that Lenz sexually exploited his followers first
surfaced. A follower named Annie Eastwood said Lenz invited her to his
Malibu home for "private meditation" and forced her to have sex with
him after waving a gun. Another follower, Mercedes Hughes, said Lenz
seduced her, forced her to become his mistress and take LSD.

The national media carried these stories. Lenz admitted to having sex
with these women, but argued it was voluntary. No charges were filed.

After following Lenz for five years, Sherman said, in 1989 Lenz called
her one night and asked her to come to his Long Island home. After
Sherman arrived, she said, Lenz locked the gate surrounding the
estate, locked the front door, brought her to his bedroom and locked
that door, warning her not to open it because it would set off the
alarm. He gave her capsules to take that he said were Benadryl, she
said. They turned out to be hallucinatory.

"He had his way with me " Sherman said. "He did weird sexual things,
and I couldn't respond. I was paralyzed, in some weird, funky state. I
had no control."

He repeated this the next night. Afterward, he yelled at her for
crying in front of the "enlightened one," she said. "Then he shooed me
away like he had a gnat in his face."

It took Sherman nine more months before she found the courage to quit
in 1990.

According to the Courant, a package that Lenz's public relations aide
gives to the press contains a statement from a former roommate that
says Sherman's feelings toward Lenz "changed to almost unbearable
jealousy" when she learned other women had similar experiences with
him.

Other former followers said that Lenz had sex with more than half the
female devotees.

"A recurring charge against Dr. Lenz became that he forced sex upon
women," reads another statement that his public relations aide gives
to the press, according to the Courant. "In fact, Dr. Lenz's teachings
offer a singularly powerful program of self-discovery for women."

"The stuff those gals talk about tends to get a little exaggerated as
time goes on," Goldstein said. "Rama's a single guy, he doesn't tell
people not to have sex. He has sex like a normal guy."

150 sedative pills in guru
The New York Post/April 16, 1998
Yuppie guru Frederick Lenz -- whose body was found floating in the
waters off his Long Island mansion --fell off his dock after taking
more than 150 phenobarbitol tablets, it was reported yesterday.

Suffolk County Police, awaiting toxological tests that could take up
to two months, declined to comment on the report in the Three Village
Herald, which also said Lenz's three dogs were drugged.

Lenz's female companion, identified by the weekly as lacy Brinn, 33,
of Manhattan, was found in an upstairs bedroom about 2 a.m. Monday by
Old Filed Police Sgt Bob Bell, who had noticed lights burning and the
front door open.

"You get to know the residents, what they do. This --sometyhing just
didn't look right," Bell told the newspaper about the death of Lenz,
48, at his Old Field estate.

The woman, who had ingested 50 drug tablets, told a somewhat
incoherent tale of going down to the water with Lenz, and seeing him
fall in on Easter Sunday morning, the paper reported.

"She was all bruised up," Bell was quoted as saying. " I guess that
happened when she was trying to reach him, but he just floated away --
on his back, she said."

Naighbors said multimillionaire Lenz did not have a boat, but would
sometimes go down to the water with his three terriers to watch them
swim.

From Lenz bs:

"I'm not blaming men, I'm not blaming women. What's gone by has
already gone by. It's history. It's done. There is no right or wrong
in higher spirituality.

"I don't feel that men have been wrong.

"More men will continue to attain enlightenment than women, unless
women change their use of the second attention.

"In the Bhagavad-Gita, a book that I revere and respect, it's
indicated
that even women, along with animals, are capable of attaining
enlightenment.

"In the case of the brujos, the sorcerers in Mexico, the Spanish
Conquest forced them to develop their second attention."

- Fred Lenz

This "Second Attention" Lenz refers to was made up by Calos
Castaneda in his
fictions about "Don Juan" :

"The second attention is the occult side of the being. It is the
ability to manipulate others, be it for good or ill intent. "

"Second Intention" is a phrase ivented by Calos Cataneda in hid "Don
Juan" hoax:

"Other criticisims of Castaneda's work include the total lack of Yaqui
vocabulary (which is understandable, since don Juan himself claimed
not to belong to the Yaqui culture as such) or terms for any of his
experiences, and his refusal to defend himself against the accusation
that he received his PhD from UCLA through deception."

The woman, (Lacy Brinn) who had ingested 50 drug tablets, told a
somewhat incoherent tale of going down to the water with Lenz, and
seeing him fall in on Easter Sunday morning, the paper reported.

"She was all bruised up," Bell was quoted as saying. " I guess that
happened when she was trying to reach him, but he just floated away --
on his back, she said."

...she was all bruised up...
