Um, Jon is a member of Nichiren Shu and Nikken is no longer the high
priest of Nichiren Shoshu. Try to keep up with your blathering and whining.

Your comments are not valuable. They are drivel and whining.

Now, go sing Forever Sensei and try to get Ikeda to come into your heart
like a good little cult member should.

SGI and NST need the members. If they
continue to treat people like dirt, they won't
have any members left. People actually do like to
be treated kindly, even if they aren't TV stars,
leaders, priests or "speical" leader types!

This trendy attitude of being distant or mean
to people in order to get respect is crime mentality.
I don't care who initiates it and who follows it
it's NOT Buddhism. It's the Soprano TV show.

As for compassion, there are many ideas
of compassion, yet real compassion actually
helps ALL the members, which includes boomers!
Not just the youth! Women, not just men! People
who have DISABILITIES not just ABILITIES.

Handing things to people isn't helping them to
help themselves or others. What are people
thinking these days? People need REAL HELP!

I haven't seen people get any real help since the
the 1980's. Which would also be why there is no
respect or real friendship around this place. Also
I see egos which are wayyyy too inflated ousting
members from a religion they DON'T OWN.

The upper crust gets respect, but they don't give it.
The lower crust is put down, forged by fire so to
speak. What makes this compassion?

The body and the shadow, and such is the world a
reflection of this so-called compassion here. Pouring
money into things isn't fixing the problems. Acting
like your IT isn't fixing the problems either.

I have not seen this entire religion treat people good
like they did back in the earlier 1980s. Putting people
down isn't help! It's disgusting! Getting along in
harmony IS Kosen-Rufu, you deny it but your in
DENIAL!

Do you really think that people can have peace while
they disgrace or humiliate each other? We should
be kind to our OWN MEMBERS FIRST, and care about
the welfare of ALL the members. Not just priests or leaders.
Not just Japanese people. ALL members who are
Buddhist, because this isn't about the NORM. It's
about MAKING the norm better.Instead, what we have
here is a top dog, eat low dog, put downs for religion,
and this is Buddhism?.

This is a real reason to leave this discussion and
chant at home, I would say. Saying something
isn't helping either. It's beyond all that.

Chanting helps people, I won't dispute that it helps
people, but it certainly is not reflected in how people
treat themselves or others, anymore. You can't say
this religion makes peace and yet you always fight.
You cannot say you have compassion and go out
on your wife, or HATE your members.

The so-called "upper crust" of this religion has lost
it's ability to see the real picture. I have seen
people tossed out of meetings for being depressed,
and I have seen people regarded as unruly or
horrid for having the same problems priests and
leaders had when they were new members.

What happened to the compassion? People age, but
heck if that's the problem, forge some new leaders
and priests to run things and kick back.

It's not just a dispute. The way to judge if this is
WORKING is to say is everyone happier, helping
people, working on themselves to be better people?
Making the world better? Hellooooo That is my point!
It's a religion, not a bowling team!

Helping all the members isn't making shallow self-satisfied
understanding the norm, it's making ALL the members
BETTER and not tossing them out if you don't like what
you see, to avoid REALITY.

Sheesh...what has happened to this place?
And you put me down?

That is why I am leaving. You think I should just
shut-up and mind my p's and q's while I watch
people pilfer Buddhism for an ego boost..

It's about being PROUD that my religion is HELPING
THEMSELVES and other people. Not making
a spectacle out of themselves by ignoring the
GOSHO, or being in a POSITION to get rid of
all the _____s.

Heck, my car broke down at a meeting, do you
know what one of the "special" people said to me?
You don't need a ride home, your wimpy! It was
after 9:00pm, dark, and my residence was about
3 miles away in LA? Do you call that Buddhism?
This was a chapter leader?

Do you call it Buddhism when you have MILLIONS
of dollars collected from YOUTH that can barely
pay their bills, who built the temple with their hands,
and you simply tear it down because you dislike
the SGI?

Get real!

Okay I am through, and NOW and I can leave
because I SAY SO!

If you live in a house with 6 people, people yell
at each other. they throw shoes from time to time,
but they care. This is not at all like that.

This is NOT caring. Your throwing people out.
They are not delinquent, they chant, they give.
YET, if you do the same things no one throws
you out. It's fair because "your special."

What kind of denial don't you see you have?

You are in denial. You do treat people badly.
You do need your shot of ego to function.
You do have a problem!

I have my own problems. Let it go or fix it!

At least someone told you. Everyone else
is sitting on their hands so they don't get hurt.

NO, you have to give back the self

SGI is a problem, but NST is more of one.

It takes WORK.

The only one I see complaining here and doing so endlessly I might
add, is you. No one else, just you ranting and raving on about one
imagined ill or mistreatment after another.

The Soka Gakkai has never had that many active members in its
existence.

Well speaking of common sense, despite me having told you repeatedly,
not to mention others doing the same thing, I am not a member of the
Nichiren Shoshu. I have never met Nikken, spoken to him or read
anything he has written to my knowledge so no, he never mentioned
anything to me on any subject.

What does SGI have to do with what I said. What does practicing
in SGI have to do with anything except teaching me how
to practice?.

Look, if I have problems with people, and I don't agree, I don't look
to SGI for changing it for me, or blindly following it. Change is
about individuals fixing themselves, not religions. You have to use
your own inner-wisdom from practicing to be a Buddha.

I think Hitler taught that lesson with Politics, that religion can do
things
you don't want it to do, like have you kill people for a religious
cause.

I chant and that's it. This religion isn't about becoming someone
else
except to learn how to practice the same thing. it's about
becoming Buddha yourself, and you know it.

The real crime in any religion is making people dependent so much
that they follow anything the religion says, regardless of it's
effects
and real merit.

Snippity dippity doo dah.....We know you have a new HP what does
that change? Your still putting words in my mouth, you still don't
listen
to what I say or bother to care about anyone. You still blame
everyone else
revisions you ok'd. You okayed the Gosho, you ok'd SGI's
incorporation, you
ok'd the cherry trees, you ok'd the community centers, you even ok'd
the
Hokekko positions you never gave to your own hard working leaders.

Look, I went to meetings in NST, because I don't do anything unless I
know what I am doing. The real problem with NST is that they don't
ask what I do, they tell me what I did, even though it wasn't what I
did,
and they didn't even care whether I lived or die in the first place,
or
anyone else I knew.

I can see why "President Ikeda" had trouble with NST!

This definition of PARANOIA is appropriate. Feelings of grandeur
while thinking your being persecuted.

One; Thinking all the members are out to get you....

From members to Priesthood there is a feeling that around every
corner there is an SGI member out to kill or harm an innocent
Hokekko member, or Priest (innocent....chuckle). I was shown
everything
from police reports, to being introduced to people who never had any
proof,
but plenty of stories about how NST members or Priests were stalked or
almost harmed by SGI members, even on sidewalks. Funny thing is there
were no cell phone pics of all this stalking. First warning
sign......

It wasn't until later when I had my personal belonging's thrown out,
when
I noticed there was more than just paranoia, that was warning
bell number two.....Not asking, but telling me what to do, because
of course I wanted to be shown "the way"....LOL.

Warning bell number 3.. Came when a Hokekko member, who was having
career and divorce problems, and was being watched closely by Hokekko
and the Priesthood, came down with cancer.......At that time the
Priesthood
believed she was out to get them, merely because she voiced an opinion
one
day about what did she didn't like about NST. She was verbal but
never violent.
In 15 years of knowing her no one was ever afraid of her. She NEVER
carried a
gun on her. Then I found out what the problem was REALLY was about,
she
went to an SGI meeting and she took an NST member there, when she was
Hokekko!

Many people own guns. Just because they own guns does not mean they
will shoot a Priest or even carry one. Nor does it mean that the
Priesthood
should separate themselves from helping their own members who are sick
based on paranoia or hearsay from a member that didn't like this
woman.
A member turned her into the Priesthood because the sick lady told her
she
wasn't getting the message when her boyfriend dumped her. She hurt her
ego. Warning bell #four....

The lady who the Priesthood was afraid of had cancer and needed help
from the
Priesthood. She was always at the temple helping in the Chorus or
chanting
every single Sunday. They didn't help her because she didn't play
ball.. Instead
they obtained a restraining order killing two birds with one stone, so
to speak.
She was alone and her ex threatened her life in a divorce. NST got a
restraining order against her based on someone that didn't like her
saying she
might carry a gun to rid them of someone disturbing their power in NST
by
taking someone to an SGI meeting. That is what happened....

The lady that told them she had a gun claims she cared about that
woman that was sick, but she told others she didn't like her because
of what
she said to her. Now merely because she verbally disagreed with the
priesthood
and not violently, but she did disagree, she was an abuser and should
stay
away from the temple when she needed them? Merely because she
hurt someone's ego they should not care about her health? What a
crock!
They obtained a restraining order on her to SHUT HER UP so she didn't
take anyone to SGI and let her die.

Warning bell 5.....
I noticed many times they felt their duties had to be separate FROM
the members from eating to socializing, I realized the reciprocation
between members giving money, and Priesthood helping members was
not a flowing, happy relationship. It was a matter of playing ball or
else,
based on fear, and not based on the humane treatment that the members
needed or wanted by being helped and supported by their priests.

Instead members were separate, lower, never right acting, especially
if they had.
any SGI ties, and no matter how great their actions, they were
shunned by the Priesthood if they had anything to do with
SGI...PERIOD!

Warning bell 6....
Late....but I read it...The WW2' High Priest's proclamation about the
U.S.
during WW2 shook me to the bone....
In it, I realized that my religion had been racially and financially
motivated
and still was. That's was why Makaguchi and other's had problems with
the
Priesthood before we were ever members. The Priesthood never did like
Democracy, Americans or freedom. They never cared to support anyone
not giving the NST the power they wanted. They didn't care to support
and
teach people who were desperate to learn Buddhism, faith, they used
Buddhism to get where they wanted.

You can't sell me on NST. I do believe that NST and SGI should get
back together, but in a brand new spirit of following Nichiren
Daishonin!

Not for money, not for politics, not for social distinction, NOT to be
known
as a "Priest" or Leader, or because of "benefit." This time for
everyone to get dirty and to create a better world in their own lives,
and in the lives of others.

When and IF we do SOMETHING to really create "Kosen Rufu". Not
some strange religious racial and social distinction that takes all
the
heart out of Buddhism. Only then will it be Buddhism not whatever the
heck this is.,,,,,,.

I am sick of all this......NST, SGI it's all the same if people don't
realize what they are here for. Were not here to pump up ego's or
give you a floor to be a high mucky muck. You have to get your hands
dirty
and do things you may not want to do. You have to talk to people
with problems, help them chant, be an example.

It's about racing against time to do
what we need to, to SURVIVE, and turn around and care about LIFE, not
bail out on
being humane.

WAKE UP TIME! If not, you have yourself to blame if time runs out.

Individual practice, conscience, heart, zipping the mouth, and unity
is
the only way to do this. Pretending you care and doing the same
things is why it doesn't change.
