First, if you had taken your head of your backside you would know that
I am an ex-baha'i. Second, no Iranian government has ever constituted
_the Iranian people_ as a whole, whether by representation or
otherwise. To then say you have stopped calling yourself an _Iranian_
because of the government confounds you as the sell-out and fool that I
say you are. Iran is the Elborz mountains and the sprinkling of those
pure celestial waters which flow from those ranges. It is Ohrmazd, the
Fravashi and Xvaranah of the Mazda Yasna, Zarathustra and the
Saoshyant. It is Persepolis, Istakhr, Takht-i-Jamshid. It is the
Caspian. It is Ferdowsi. It is Rudaki. It is Suhravardi. It is Sa'di,
Hafiz, Rumi, et al. It is the Feminine Archangel Houri-Daena who is
reflected in the celestial face of every Iranian woman. It is a culture
and peoples spanning well over 3,500 years of recorded history. Iran is
not now nor has it ever been the Islamic republic. Iran is Eyran-Vej,
the archetypal celestial land of the Archangels of Light, of which the
physical Iran is a physical epiphany.

My maternal great-great-great grandmother was Tahirih Qurrat'ul-'Ayn,
Iran's (1st) feminist revolutionary mystic martyr, Babi leader and
heroine, so I would in fact know about these things.
>Don't you not think that

No, because the removal of Mohammad Mossadeq by the CIA in 1953 and the
British support for the mullahs prior and after this removal, was not
self-inflicted. Nor is the fact that the AmeriKKKan power elite of the
1970s being behind the removal of the Shah, the foisting of the mullahs
as a geopolitical strategy for destabilizing the Soviet Union - not to
mention Western Intelligence's outright aid to the IRI in destroying
the secular Left - self-inflicted. Nor was Russian-British subversion
of the Constitutional Revolution of 1905-09 self-inflicted. Nor is the
fact that the politics of the entire region dominated by petroleum
self-inflected. Nor the fact that the economic elite of the West being
racists bent on keeping non-European, non-Anglo peoples from
prospering, ad nauseum, self-inflicted.
Instead of reading Spinoza, and being infatuated by Unitarian
Universalist fluff bunny nonsense and other sedating Western bourgeosie
deceptive discourses, maybe you should read Franz Fanon and Jalal Al-e
Ahmad for a change.

There has been conflict between the Babis and Bahais. Babis are now called
Azalis.

Nima? Do you go home for some of Mom's dinner, a shower, a shave and a
few hours in the fart sack? Do you stop by to pick up allowance?

You wanted to insult the Bayanis, mebbe?
Paul
I'm relieved to read that you have now discovered that there are no
Azalis. That is progress.

Dear Ex-Baha'i Members,
This message is to inform you that Paul Hammond has been suspended for
two weeks from membership in this group for repeated rules violations,
despite receiving warnings for his misbehavior in the past.
Do NOT post any responses to this message to the group. And do NOT
respond to the off-topic ad hominem message from Paul Hammond that may
have arrived in your inbox (that means you, Starr). It has been
deleted from the message archives and we are going to continue
productive spiritual discussions in this group as though the rules
violation never happened.
All members please take note that the rules of this group WILL be
enforced when members repeatedly violate them.
Sincerely,
Eric

Dear Eric
I wish to commend your courage in taking sanctions against these
two.
I often find it intimidating to post in a forum where one regular
poster is openly backing Susan Maneck, Pat Kohli and then Steve
Marshall on trb.
It is also annoying to receive volumes upon volumes of posts from
someone whose knowledge about the history of babism and bahaism is
so obviously flawed and tries to dressup the lack of subtance with
psuedo academic essays.
There is simply no room for such individuals in ex-bahai. We are
trying to rid ourselves of the last vestages of bahai. Once again
thankyou and keep up the great work.

Btw, a "fart sack" is the definition of the whore who sleeps next you.
