Guys lay off this Don guy. He's got nada to do with NA, was just looking for help regarding a buddy. I even called the dude, the number is for real. He's like completely lost and had zero clue about what goes on on usenet, actually, I'm not sure he even knew what usenet was.
Put yourself in his place, the guy comes in, looking for help for a friend, completely clueless, and gets tom_c up his ass taking shots at his mother whos dead.

Thats the whole point, that shit is just weird. I mean think about it, someone who devotes that much time to causing shit and writting about cornholing is gotta be seriously fucked no?
The other thing is, Don posted his home number here, that takes balls, aint too bright if you ask me. Its that whole NA public image thing, I get a bit of a guilty conscious once in a while, I mean, I gotta wonder sometimes if folks first impression of NA are this NG right? I try to email folks who are new here and clue them in a bit about the NG, I just hope no addict has passed off on NA on account of the NG.

You big puss. Look, this isn't real in any sense of the word. If people don't like it, too bad. At least it's a bit more honest than fake-ass meetings, with a lot more diversity.When arna gets going good sometimes, it's way better than listening to a lot of the crap at f2f meetings. And you gotta think that some of those people seeing NA here for the first time are pretty raw, and used to this kind of interaction, not the fake hugs-and-love at meetings.
