"Before the war, when men such as Henry Ford ...."
LOL, I guess Mike Godwin loves you Ken, even if Jesus is jealous :)
Perhaps you'll never choose to be stuck up on your cross of choice forever, but
even a youtube video's almost got you nailed. http://tinyurl.com/5wgp4q
BTW, if any of the straggling newcomers to your gullible gaggle of groupers
does own a Ford product, do you 'humbly suggest' they just cash it, or is your
obsession so deep they must trash it?

If one pays heed to "Godwin's Law" as commonly interpreted on the
Internet, one might think that one shouldn't never, ever mention that
the guys standing on the street corner garbed in military uniforms and
*armbands blazoned with swastikas* handing out anti-Semitic literature
Nazis without guaranteeing that one would lose the argument over them
not being nice people.
It seems that you are not a believer in the dictum that those who refuse
to learn from history are doomed to repeat it. I suppose that is to be
expected from a believer in Dark Ages religion.

Jeez, Ken, that's not merely irrelevant, it's manic!

and there's zero to stir with *that* non sequitur.

Interesting ?
Frank is still dead, Ken. At least time time I checked.
Leave the poor man alone.
Nor is the danger of getting caught up in his followers' modern-day
12-Step cults isn't dead either.

Kenny,
Kenny is unwell - a clown who cannot do kids party's anymore.
Bye, bye
Rich
Rich, I don't know about you, but during my stint in the Hallowed
Halls, some of the dozen or so Absolutes I was thumped with flatly
contradicted the long rejected Oxford Group's Four Spiritual
Principles, AKA The Four Absolutes.
Perhaps Ken imagines his idiotic extrapolation of a Buchman
connection assures him some sort of claim to esteem for posterity.
Irony is that while Ken flails in orbit round his absurd allegation,
real contradictions, clearly evident in AA's literature, and actions;
seem to completely elude him.
Notwithstanding, I thank Heavens for a man like Robert Smith, for without
his concept of anonymity (an antonym of Buchmanism) I, a once hopeless
drunk, could've also been easily overwhelmed by delusions of grandeur.
Bob
> Frank "Thank Heavens for a man like Adolph Hitler" Buchman may be dead,

Modern ? Frank is dead. Ken. Dead. He can't be interviewed.
Hitler did have a soft side you know, for dogs.
So much so that he poisoned the dog(s) first before be shot
himself in head.
Any cult following cultist like yourself should know
the Holocaust was a vast Jewish influenced Hollywood
propagandist take over of American media. Hitler was nothing
more than forerunner of Lee H. Oswald "I'm nothing but a patsy"
to cover up the Jew's taking over all of the European banks.
I don't believe for a second that it is Frank B. that you are concerned
about but protecting A.A.
Ken Ragge
http://www.morerevealed.com/
There is nothing in A.A. literature contradictory to Oxford Group
doctrine. The Absolutes were used in A.A. for quite some time in Ohio,
including at Dr. Bob's meeting. Of course the language used now is
different from in the 1930s. If you had read "Soul Surgery," you would
know that language is changed as people catch on to it.
Some examples with the Oxford Group expressions on the left and A.A.
expressions on the right.
confess -> admit
sharing for confession -> Fifth Step sharing
sharing for witness -> Twelfth Step sharing
sin -> defects of character
and etc. and etc. and etc.
As far as "anonymity", did you miss the reference to the book, "What is
the Oxford Group" posted here? It was written and published
_anonymously_, just the way modern-day A.A.s publish A.A. promotional
material. Check it out at http://stepstudy.org/downloads-2/ . I assume
it is permissible for you to read material on a website called
"stepstudy.org", isn't it?

I was referring to significant contemporary contradictions, not your
absurd extrapolation of a Buchman connection.
However there *is* ample in AA literature; including how, right at the
inception of AA, the Oxford group was dumped.
> The Absolutes were used in A.A. for quite some time in Ohio,

Absolutely, then dumped elsewhere before being dumped in Ohio too.
However, not even reiterated reality would lure you back to earth from
your manic orbit: You've obviously found your appropriate niche.
Bob
There are thousands of us who overcame a difficult part in our lives,
then moved on. We just don't collect our little coins anymore. Raves
havoc on the number keepers and book tally jerks.
I never met Frank there .. because HE IS DEAD. Frank is DEAD.
Get over it. Moa, Mang, Too, Tai, Tea, Moe, Larry, Shrimp, Nixon,
and Hilter. They are all dead too.
But I met many of Ken's there. Lost, wounded, psycho babbling
mad men, standing outside taking the last smoke, or repeating
phrases inside from the cold holding 'Da Book'.
More Revealed !
Boo !
What is so different from your psycho babbling than theirs?
You can't shut up ! Or go away !
Open a vegetable stand. You may be content with the conversations
there. I've found the tomatoes are the most argumentative.
Those red bastards.
Bob,
Kenny does not understand the Four Absolutes and the relevance in all
this - in fact some old-timers in AA I found didn't understand that
bit either. He needs to read Ernie Kurtz - Not God : A History of
Alcoholics Anonymous. Actually Ernie used to argue with Kenny a few
years back on 12SF. I think it's Kenny's myopia problem.
I agree wholeheartedly about anonymity - the breaking of which -
especially in the US - causes a lot of problems for AA.
Regards,
Rich
Absolutes leave room for semantics?

Are you sure it was Kurtz, and not Mitchell K?
> I think it's Kenny's myopia problem.
Have you *ever* seen Ken admit he's wrong? What difference would another
book make?
>

A.A. is itself competent in that regard, without need of help from
celebrities; let alone from me.
"The German GSO had revealed into public court records the full names
and addresses of more than 130 AA members. That means AA in Germany
with the consent and help from AAWS in New York, violated AA's
Tradition on Anonymity by allowing over 130 names of AA members to be
placed in the public record."

Bob,
Well put it this way - in the cyberworld there was somebody calling
themselves Ernie Kurtz contributing to 12 SF some years back. As for
the book - I still have it - so that's correct.
You make me laugh - no I have never seen Kenny admit an error!
Regards,
Rich
And in what way is Buchman's death supposed to rule out the idea that
the article about him is interesting?
Do you seriously deny that Wilson was influenced by Buchman and
Buchman's so-called "Oxford Group"?
In what way do you imagine Buchman's death precludes his having
followers?
Is it non sequitur week in here or what?
We aren't going to get any *more* interviews with the loathesome Frank
Buchman, but we've still got the ones he provided. For example,
there's the interview where he said that he "Thanked Heavens for a man
like Hitler." There's the interview where he defended his staying at
"posh hotels" on the basis that "God is a millionaire."
Sure looks like it. You and Ken Ragge are about the only Buchman
followers posting here, That is, of course, if you *want* to be counted.

Jeez, what actually spun you into that crazy orbit?
By any chance did your spouse decide to stay sober, then, as soon as the
fog started to lift, get a clearer look at you before moving on, and
leaving you and your asinine obsessions behind?
Bob
> In what way do you imagine Buchman's death precludes his having

Yeah. I see your point. Look at what happened
after the jews murdered that dude named Jesus. Amazing
how a man creates a following.
> loathesome Frank
> Buchman,
>
>For example,
> there's the interview where he said that he "Thanked Heavens for a man

It depends on the contents of the conversation.
Hitler was a mediocre painter, but a damn brilliant
dictator and a supreme pain in the ass as a war monger.
If they had had personal computers back in 1932, he
could have been a Bill Gates if he focused
his energy on something positive instead of
building bombs, cremation ovens, and tanks.
> There's the interview where he defended his staying at
> "posh hotels" on the basis that "God is a millionaire."
If God was a millionaire, he certainly didn't share
the wealth with his only son who had ended up preaching on corner.
You really dwell on Frank's bad side .. huh ?
