Ever since I left AA, I've had AA members following me everywhere. They
come into the bar and write down how many drinks I have. The get on the
bus and watch to see if I drink. They have telescopes pointing at my
house windows and watch what I do. They phone my relatives and ask them
if I've been drinking. They hang around my place of employment, they
phone and email me constantly. They even follow my children to school,
and ask them questions, like "did your daddy get drunk yesterday?".
Now, AA has invaded my cellphone. Everytime I turn it on, I am getting
random AA slogans scrolling across the screen. When I hit a key to make
them stop, it automatically dials the AA World Services office. No
matter what phone number I try to call, all I get is the AAWS office.
..... and they say that AA is not a cult!!!!! BULLSHIT!

Well, I don't know how serious you are about that, but I get the
drift.
I understand that this is mainly a USA group.
It's ironic, because USA came into existence with the aim of freeing
the people of North America from the tyranny of European kings. But
now USA is much more authoritarian and much more tyranncial then
Western Europe. This is reflected in the obsessive authority structure
of AA groups in USA. In Western Europe, AA leaders know what they can
get away with, and so they keep a low profile.
YOU GET THE AA LEADERS YOU DESERVE.
We don't put up with such people in Western Europe, so there are no
dysfuncional AA leaders in Western Europe, because they know we'll
give them a boot up the hole if they try that with us here in Western
Europe.
Give them a boot up the hole, you AA members in USA !
