Painting jobs accomplished!

Well, surprisingly for me I was able to get on the stick and paint my front
door,
porch rails, and a chair that I keep on the porch, all in the same color.
It wasn't nearly as big a job as I had thought, and I am so pleased to have
gotten
it done.

My husband took a load of items to Goodwill this evening, too! Yippee! Now
tonight I found out that I might be having some relatives come to my house
for a
few days next month to care for my live-in mother-in-law while my husband,
kids, and I go on vacation (My mom-in-law can't stay by herself and she
doesn't want to come with us). Yikes! Talk about an incentive to get rid
of massive amounts of stuff!

sounds awesome!! I was just thinking about the painting I have to do in my
son's room-- he is 3 and is moving into his sisters old room. I screwed up
the color and am making it lighter sagey green but it needs to be done
before this Monday as it will climb up again into the upper 90s with awful
humidity. Thanks for the inspiration and have a great vacation!!
