I need to clean my house today. I don't know why I have such a hard time
getting started.
Yes, I know ... break it down, do a little at a time, finish a small area
and then move to the next.
Plan breaks, take care of myself, do what I can, etc.
/sigh.
I guess I should go get started.

One thing that always helps me is to take all the towels off the rack
and put them in the wash and then put all the garbage into one big bag
in the middle of the kitchen floor. Once you do that, you really can't
stop.

Yup- as sweetchild pointed out- I too am- arggggghhhh!- cleaning the
house. I know what you mean about it being so hard to get started.
It's an odious job. But try to pick a task that you loathe least to
get started. I tend to start with a garbage bag and fill it up- it
makes things seem cleaner and I do tend then to get somewhat in the
mood. For instance- I hate dishes- and to put off doing that - I
cleaned the laundry room- litter pan and all- yes - I would rather
clean a cat tray than do dishes. well- me too- break's over!!
good luck to us all today!

Way back in '01 when I joined I was really deeply depressed. My
mantra became Just do ---Anything---I am willing to do at this
particular moment.

Guess what? It added up!

BTW: No matter how small the accomplishment was, my pal, Dan Goodman
would post "Good for you". That meant far more to me than he might
have realized at the time.
